aParent.ly is a pioneering match-making and support platform dedicated to modernizing family building through platonic co-parenting. We address the growing need for alternative family structures, offering solutions for those who desire to parent, irrespective of their romantic relationship status. Our service caters to individuals like Sara and Peter, who are eager to start families but haven't found partners to do so romantically. With societal shifts and the increasing acceptance of diverse family models, our platform meets a crucial demand. We facilitate connections among prospective co-parents by aligning mutual values, parenting styles, and logistical preferences. Beyond matchmaking, aParent.ly provides extensive support and resources, including expert advice on child-rearing and legal aspects of co-parenting. Our approach not only supports the biological clock concerns of individuals in their late thirties but also offers a community and framework for those pursuing non-traditional family setups. This innovative service ensures children grow up in nurturing environments by fostering strong co-parenting partnerships built on shared goals and commitments.

Catchwise

We make fisheries much more efficient at filling their quotas, by using big (open) data, modern web technology and machine learning; resulting in less diesel, time at sea, fish poaching/bicatch and seabed contact. It started with gathering a crew of hackers and engineers for NORA's FishAI competition the summer 2022, which we won, then we set up the company to revolutionise fishery for the better. Today we are working close with our paying customers, to become a must-have tool on any vessel!

Operta is a newly born startup with a dynamic team. Operta's vision is to empower landlords and property managers with a cutting-edge SAAS solution that optimizes property and tenant management, enabling streamlined operations, efficient communication, elevated tenant satisfaction, and business scalability. Through our SAAS product, we want to connect landlords/property managers, tenants, and service providers (e.g., plumbers, electricians, painters) in one single platform allowing both maintenance and management of rental properties.

Today, there is a substantial capital gap in Norway and globally. In Norway, the gap is as large as a Norwegian state budget. (which is huge!) - only 20% of the value of Oslo Børs is owned by women today - Women invest 63% less than men, on average - while we only make 11% less - At the same time, 86% of all min. pension receivers are women, so women should be investing more - not less! Why is that? Women tell us - they don´t feel like they have enough knowledge - they don´t know who to ask for help Through the Stack-app, we give them the network to learn from and discuss investments - in an easy and fun way.

Mai is a tech startup that helps sell people's clothes. The resale market is on a rise, but it is still too troublesome for people to get their items into the market and get their items sold. TO DO THIS, SOME OF THE CHALLENGES WE TACKLE ARE: - Predict any resale items market valuation - Publish the item om multiple resale platforms for bigger reach - Predict on what platforms the item will sell - Provide a hassle free peer 2 peer shipping experience WHAT MAKES US BELIEVE IN THIS After running a beta version of our service for 6 months we see that our users love Mai. With a retention at 50% and a low customer aquisition cost the potential to scale is huge. We have sold 1000+ items with high user retention and happiness, and we have a 3x higher share sold rate and 1.5x higher sold price compared to other siloed resale marketplaces. And the best of all (what drives us): At scale, Mai could play a significant role in lowering the emissions from the fashion industry. Buying and selling used instead of new is the #1 most effective way to lower the emissions.
