Dalea

Dalea delivers a data platform for research within BioPharma and Life Sciences, providing familiar tools and a frictionless migration for researchers. Researchers forecast industry data volumes will double within 1 year, yet 60% of data is currently still stored on personal computers or in physical notebooks. Despite this issue, there is a clear market gap; two thirds of researchers within the field are dissatisfied with existing options on the market today. This is a major challenge for data replication and scientific collaboration. It stifles the value of created data and greatly inhibits discovery. Larger BioPharma companies resort to re-running experiments, as a faster alternative to looking up results. The market size for Electronic Notebooks and Laboratory Information Management Systems is expected to double in the next 10 years, with industry leaders breaking a staggering $6 billion valuation. Dalea is entirely EU-based, ensuring current and future compliance and data security. Our Academic version launches this Autumn, with an initial customer base secured through partnerships with leading academic labs. Ready to revolutionize research data? Explore our open roles and join us on the front lines of scientific innovation.

Yobr

At Yobr, we see collaboration between students and companies as a way to bring fresh perspectives and the latest skills to real-world challenges. Companies gain flexible, efficient ways to complete meaningful projects that create real value while discovering new talent. For students, it’s an opportunity to apply their skills, learn, and grow in a professional setting. The problem is that most companies struggle to tap into this potential—they don’t have the time, resources, or know-how to make it work. Yobr is changing that. We’re building a platform that leverages AI to simplify project planning, efficiently match yobs with the right students from our talent base, and support execution with intuitive collaboration tools and tailored AI agents. Since starting in January we have done pilots with known brands like SalMar, SpareBank 1 and Norbit, gaining key insight on how students projects should be run. We've developed our technical solution since August, and are looking to launch a beta of our platform in January 2025. We just closed a Angel round and received Innovation Norway's phase 2 grant, targeting break-even and a seed round in Q2 2025. We are a solid team of builders and creators, 3 being full-time and 3 part-time, based in Oslo and Trondheim. Now we are looking to take this to the next level!

Strive - Strive for startups

Strive is a project revolutionizing the Finnish job market to one where startups are the best place for students to thrive in a high-growth environment. Students don't recognize the potential that startups offer as places where you can quickly and efficiently learn and grow. On the other hand startups are innovators whose success depends on their ability to find and engage the best talent. We're changing the status quo and connecting students with rapidly growing growth companies. Our main event is held in the fall and is a startup crawl connecting students to the best startups in Finland.

Trust Stamp

As society has progressively moved towards increased digitalisation and users have increased requirements for remote access to services, there is a greater need for secure methodologies that allow companies to identify and transact with customers and other stakeholders remotely. The government is no exception to this change: employees and stakeholders increasingly expect to be able to interact remotely with the government, both easily and safely. Biometric technologies are becoming ubiquitous, especially in support of remote interactions: when implemented well, they can bring tremendous advantages to business, government and their stakeholders with a slicker user experience, improved trust and lower costs. Inevitably, new opportunities come with new challenges, including: - Identity theft: biometric databases are proliferating and criminals are highly motivated to acquire biometric credentials and use them to impersonate others, usually for fraudulent purposes. Biometric credentials are far more valuable to criminals because, unlike passwords, they can’t simply be changed if stolen. - Trust: as remote interactions become the norm, it’s essential that both parties can be highly confident of the other’s identity. A business, government or service provider will need to be confident that the person connecting to the service is both a real person and the right person. - Exclusion: for those who do not have the necessary technology or skills, or perhaps bias in the biometric system that discriminates against some demographics and characteristics (such as skin colour and ageing). - Compliance: unlike passwords, biometrics are tied to an individual’s characteristics and could be used to identify that individual. GDPR places biometrics in a special or sensitive category of personal data and demands much stronger safeguards around collection and safekeeping. Trust Stamp recognises the challenges being faced by users and the market, and has responded to these challenges by creating a solution which provides users with a secure, private, and accessible identity. Trust Stamp establishes trust in a connected world, delivering trusted identity systems at the heart of how organisations and individuals transact in the digital world and beyond. Trust Stamp creates a secure, private and accessible identity. Trust Stamp answers the ultimate question of ‘Who am I dealing with?’. Is the person accessing the systems at that point in time, a real person and the right person? Trust Stamp’s patented technology enables businesses and public sector services to create trust and to protect themselves and their users, while empowering individuals to retain ownership of their data and prevent fraudulent activity using their identity. Trust Stamp focuses on three main areas of identity: - Creating an identity / Identity proofing. Trust Stamp's radical innovations in biometrics and data protection empower people to access more with an identity that can be safely shared and stored. - Powering transactions that enfranchise all parties involved. When our identity technology is used to open a bank account or access a public service, both the individual and organisation achieve higher levels of protection and confidence in the security of their data and the integrity of their systems. Trust Stamp's solutions elevate all sides of an identity system. - Mitigating risk to identity data. Trust Stamp leads with a privacy and security focus. Our technology limits the potential for misuse of identity data and damage due to data loss by creating a secure and private identity with the Irreversibly Transformed Token (IT2).

Yuta AI

1: Short description (the pitch) Yuta AI is developing a platform to help DevOps teams to solve toolchain complexity, remove mundane tasks, work efficiently with the conversational and generative power of AI. 2: The What: What are you solving + more in depth details Several studies show that an average DevOps team spends 20% of the time in unproductive tasks (searching for information, mundane or repetitive tasks, troubleshooting human errors etc). The plethora of automation tools used to solve some of these problems, has introduced a side effect of toolchain complexity. A typical DevOps engineers works with 5 to 6 tools, languages & frameworks. This increases the barrier to entry, creates silos and a steep learning curve. 3. The How: Describe how your startup is solving this DevOps engineers can work productively and efficiently using Yuta's AI enabled DevOps platform. Using Yuta AI, engineers can easily retrieve information from knowledge systems within the company. Using conversational AI, several typical DevOps workflows can be triggered, removing the need to manually perform operational tasks. 4: The Why: What motivated you to get started As a DevOps professional over the last 8 years, I have toiled hard with many DevOps tools. While the tools have improved the productivity of DevOps engineers, the complexity keeps increasing with the addition of every new tool, workflows spanning across multiple process & tools & methods decrease the stability, and make DevOps a silo function in the organisation. With the power of conversation & generative AI, DevOps workflows can be simplified, lowering the barrier to entry, and empowering the engineers to focus on high value tasks.
