Bladder cancer has a high recurrence and progression rate. Worldwide 1.65 M people live with the disease, and 550.000 new cases are diagnosed worldwide every year. In Denmark, approx. 2000 new cases are diagnosed with bladder cancer every year, and approx. 20.000 patients live with the disease in Denmark.
