We are a newly started contemporary Nordic brewery that blends traditional fermentation techniques with science, infusing new life into an ancient beverage passed down through generations. Located in the vibrant heart of Copenhagen's Meatpacking District, we have spend the past few years in building our state-of-the-art brewery and developing our products and flavours, and we finally launched in March 2023. We are currently 7 people in the team working across all business functions of production, distribution, sales and marketing. When you step through the doors of our brewery, you're joining a team of passion. Our small team allows for close connections, as we operate on three essential pillars: Craft, Care, and Community. Craft is the foundation of everything we do. We take pride in our approach, using time-honouring techniques when brewing each batch of our kombucha with utmost care and attention to detail. From selecting the finest organic ingredients to nurturing our culture, we're committed to craft the best unpasteurized, living kombucha possible. Care is at the heart of our low-impact approach. Our commitment drives us to implement practices at every stage of our production process that minimize waste and take steps to reduce our environmental footprint. We find inspiration for our Folk flavours in our region, using solely certified organic ingredients to encapsulate the pure and nourishing taste of the Nordics. Finally Community is the essence of Folk Kombucha. We believe that a strong sense of togetherness fuels our success. Despite our small team, we're a diverse group representing five different nationalities. This melting pot of cultures and perspectives creates a dynamic and enriching environment where ideas flow freely and innovation thrives. Through workshops and collaborations, our mission is for our kombucha to gather, engage, and inspire the brewing world and beyond.
