No. We’re a closed network reserved for Nordic scaling startups. You must be a registered business with a digital presence like a website, looking for new hires for your own business and not others and looking to scale with the means of external investors.
What is talent looking for?
Talent reads between the lines and appreciate details. Thus, the more details you add to your profile the easier it is for talent to know who you are and what you can offer. Add excellent pictures and multiple perks to describe your culture. List team members to let them tell your story. Add investors and advisors to show that you are funded and have experienced people to guide you. Write compelling text, talent loves great story telling. Be honest! Be you! And update your profile regularly to show only updated and accurate information.
What are investors looking for?
Investors are Unicorn hunting at the Hub and always on the look out for great return on investment. So make sure you always have updated information on your profile. Investors scout for great ideas, potential, track record and a solid team to execute. One doesn’t go without the other, thus, there is no shortcuts you’ll need to paint the full picture. But don’t worry we made it easy for you. Let the Hub be your canvas and step by step you’ll get to paint the full picture of your startup.
Where do you promote my jobs?
When you post a job at the Hub, we automatically promote via a variety of different channels like e-mails, social media and job boards. We established partnerships with local and international job platforms including LinkedIn, Jobindex, NAV, Graduateland, Duunitori, Indeed, Careerland, Jobsinnetwork, Find-Job-Abroad, The Local, Neuvoo, Jooble and many more, making the Hub your one-stop platform to manage jobs and applicants for free.
We’re currently not recruiting, should we still have a profile?
Yes, the best talent and investors are proactive. Both scout for great startups to join in the future, thus, if you want to be on their radar you’ll need a profile.
Is it really needed to fill out all profile details?
The devil is in the detail but it pays off. A fruitful Hub profile will help you build your employer brand. Add multiple team members, investors and advisors. Share key figures, new products and company news. Talent and investors use this data to evaluate your startup before getting in touch.
We use an ATS, will the Hub work for us?
We support integrations with Teamtailor. In your startup settings, you can connect your Teamtailor ATS with the Hub. When connected you will be able to automatically post your active Teamtailor jobs on the Hub. All applicants applying via the Hub will be directly forwarded to your Teamtailor Career Site, for you to manage all at one place only.
How to delete applicant data in order to comply with GDPR?
1. Login to your startup profile on thehub.io. From the header menu, click the dropdown arrow next to your logo in the top right side, and select 'All applicants'. 2. This shows you all candidates who sent your company applications, and you can then sort them by date applied to get the oldest ones first.
3. You then mark (one page at a time) the ones you want to 'delete' (tick off the box in the top to select all on the page, or tick individual boxes next to each candidate), and click on the 'Delete' button at the bottom pane (it will show how many applicants are selected next to it). 4. You have to repeat this for all the older candidates you wish to delete.
