INVITES ApS

INVITES is an app to bring people together in social gatherings, which are events created by the user after interest, such as parties, dinners, dating events and much more. INVITES is a customer-to-customer platform, where the platform is mainly the facilitator of bringing people together in an easy non-binding manner. Singles or people in a relationship, can easily find interesting offers – both social and for dating purposes. According to statistics, many are still struggling with finding a romantic partner or even a friend. We believe that all these people have interesting hobbies, and we are sure that this platform, can help bring people together and inspire them to have some fun experiences. According to statistics there where 350.000 danes, who described them selwes as being a 5 in loneliness in a scale from 1-5 - they consider them selwes as being max lonely. At all times there are 700.000 single men and 700.000 single woman in Denmark. This is out of a population of 5.8 mio. people. We want to offer a toolkit for people to find eachother.

Freyja XO Oy

Freyja is initiating a new era for social media platforms, moderation practices, and user protection. Its sophisticated moderation and safety system is ground-breaking and allows it to offer a voice to a marginalized group of creators. Educators, charities, and brands, who offer important sex-education and awareness, don’t have a platform to promote their cause. Mainstream social media censors any mention of sensitive topics, such as sex, and ban creators without warning. As a result, the human right of sexual education is being denied, which is particularly problematic when women’s sexual rights are being stripped away repeatedly. Charities that focus on reducing revenge porn and image based sexual abuse find themselves censored, or banned for talking about their work. Companies focused on sexual health testing, period products, sex therapy and contraception also find themselves banned or censored Educators try to improve education and find themselves censored for naming a body part. Sex workers face the worst discrimination as they are instantly deleted, even when they haven’t posted anything more explict than a bikini photos, whereas a celebrity might post something actually pornographic or link directly to an adult site and not face the same censorship or bans. Freyja acknowledges this overlap of education and adult entertainment and addresses this by offering a safe environment, where people can find what they are looking for: education or entertainment. Freyja is a social media platform, which does not censor or discriminate. It’s a platform, where individuals, charities, and brands can post about sex-education, their products, and their charity work. Creators can monetize their content with a range of payment options or post content for free, like on any other social media platform.

Thousands of containers of tuna, sweet corn, coffee, pasta and numerous other products being competitively traded worldwide for decades. Hard core business capabilities formed the foundation of our company. This unique competence met the need for digitalization and the best available online e-commerce tech skill was added to the equation. Boasting a technology enabled online trading platform that was scalable and offered new and alternative routes to market for hundreds of suppliers to the retail industry was a logical next step. With increasing signs of worrying effects of climate change the global sustainability agenda, supported by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, forced us to look even closer at our own contribution towards a sustainable future. Today, our strategic journey and development efforts are steered towards finding new ways to fill the gaps in the global production and supply chains. With our business acumen, our platform technology skills and competences within sustainable e-biz thinking we intend to find new ways to redistribute, reuse, repurpose, recommission and reconfigure some of the vast resources that are wasted every year. Tradevision is building brands and selling them directly to the consumers through our own e-commerce stores. The company was founded in 2018 and has more than 50.000 happy customers in 11 countries. Our office is located in the center of Aalborg and we continuously innovate, test and develop new products and marketing strategies.

I DareGender opbygger vi fællesskaber, der engagerer alle køn i arbejdet for ligestilling. Som organisation har vi et særligt fokus på mænd og maskuliniteter og arbejder med at involvere drenge og mænd i køns- og ligestillingsarbejdet. Det gør vi bl.a. gennem kampagner, mandegrupper og projektbaserede aktiviteter. Målet er færre stereotyper og en mere lige verden for alle køn.

Here at CeOx, we design and develop the new generation electromechanical devices for high-tech and biomedical applications based on novel smart materials. Our goal is to advance and bring innovation to the current state-of-the-art thanks to smart materials implementation, optimal design and innovative thinking. Electromechanical (EM) devices are used more and more in several fields of technology, bringing remarkable advances. Micro EM systems ensure reduction to extremely low size maintaining the performances of previous bulky products. Kimey

Kimey is developing application called Happ. Happ tells you what is going on around you right now. And i mean just now. Have you ever landed middle of nowhere, and wondered is there anything happening? Something? Like, now? Have you ever found a wallet or has your dog ran away and you have wished, that if there was only a way to tell it to somebody right away? Do you have bicycle to sell before you leave out of town? Or food to donate before it goes bad? Happ is life happening around you. In Happ you can create events or "Happs" which can be anything. Users can define their happs as they please; Your dog runaway, you want to sell or donate something, or you saw a bear. Happ is valid only 2 hours after its created. That is to keep happ realtime; all happs are going on right now. You can link your happ where ever your happ needs. Pictures, videos, facebook, ebay - what ever suits your happ. First time i came up to this idea was when I was middle of desert in California a town called Palm Springs. It was sunday evening and I thought i wish there were an app where i can see is there anything happening. I could check google, and facebook, and all the other sites that can tell me the concerts, restaurants, theathers, their opening hours, ticket prizes etc. But nothing where i could see it easy and quick. And if its happening right now. Happ is happening now.

SundBesked

SundBesked is a HealthTech start-up that seeks to enable effortless collaboration and communication amongst healthcare staff, and between patients and caregivers. Our solution will provide an innovative communication platform that facilitates easy sharing of visual information through mobile applications in a secure and legal way. We're working further developing our MVP + performing user tests to guide further programming. SundBesked is a spin-out company from the BioMedical Design Novo Nordic Fellowship Programme at the University of Copenhagen – a program with focus on needs driven healthcare innovation. We are today a part of the accelerator “Innofounder Graduate” supported by Innovation Fund Denmark and Danish Design Center.

CargoGator - The urban bike trailer

The CargoGator is a bike trailer developed for moving cargo and parcels in the city. It is made from light-weight materials, can be mounted to almost any bike or e-bike, and with separate break-system, it is easy to handle for even non-experienced riders. With an ever growing number of last-mile and on-demand services in the cities, more and more pressure on the road networks, and a need to reduce our carbon-emission, we need to think of t.ex. bike deliveries as a part of the solution to solve transportion demands in the cities. Instead of everyone developing their own cargobikes, which can be expensive and only serves one purpose, as cargobikes, we will offer the CargoGator to bike-sharing programmes across Europe. For free. We have developed the CargoGator so it can be adapted to almost any e-bike, and the cover of the trailer, is made of strong PVC material that can be printed with any ads or commercials, which we will be selling to third parties, who wish to have their messages exposed in a new eco-friendly way on a whole new outdoor platform. Exposure of the ads will both be visible when riders are moving through the city, but as most pick-up stations of bike-sharing programmes are where people need them, the ads will also be exposed even when not rented out. Users of a shared bike/trailer solution will be both private persons living and moving in the city, and who occasionally will have a need of getting personal effects, large buys or other transported, but also professional riders, who are working for the growing number of on-demand services, couriers, supermarked delivery services a number of times a week. Instead of the riders themselves or their employers need to invest and allocate expensive cargobikes or other equipment, it will simply be possible to pick up a bike and trailer in the nearest bike-station, which is already financed through commercials. This is our core business model. There is ofcourse a market also for sellling the CargoGator to companies with their own fleet of bike-trailers or cargobikes, public institutions or other potential clients, who have a need or wish for a flexible and eco-friendly transport solution.
