Basbaas er en uunnværlig del av somalisk matkultur. Denne chili-sausen er så populær at hver familie har sin egen unike oppskrift på den. Vår oppskrift er laget av Faduma Hassan Husseen, som tilfeldigvis er moren til vår daglige leder. Faduma har laget basbaas nesten hele livet sitt og lærte å lage den ved å se på sin egen mor. Hun bruker kun de ferskeste ingrediensene og blander alt sammen for å lage sin signatursaus.
