The market for smaller landlords cross border is vast due to a big market gap and due to existing vendor's failure to serve this group properly. The laws and regulations related to real estate is extensive. Current systems on the market are expensive, difficult to use and timely to implement. Sophie is a self-served autonomous solution which simplifies tasks and removes the need for backoffice functions through AI and low-code, making it cost efficient and easily accessible for smaller property managers. The team behind Sophie has long industry experience from commercial property management, SaaS, proptech and scaling companies.

We address student isolation and ineffective teamwork—problems that impact academic performance and overall well-being. These issues are prevalent, with studies showing that up to 40% of students feel disconnected during their education. Our focus is on empowering students with tailored study groups that drive learning outcomes and create lasting networks. StudyBuddies leverages AI algorithms to match students based on study preferences, goals, and academic strengths. Our platform includes tools to track progress, promote accountability, and provide real-time feedback. We ensure that all students, regardless of background, can find a supportive community and thrive academically. The idea for StudyBuddies came from my own experiences as a student. I’ve faced group assignments where I ended up without a group at all and failed, and I’ve seen others struggle and lose motivation because they felt lonely and unsupported. These experiences made it clear to me that there has to be a better way to create effective groups and academic communities. This became the driving force behind starting StudyBuddies.

The green hydrogen revolution is underway, and the team at IðunnH2 is working on developing the supply chains required to put this clean, green gas to use, both in Iceland and globally. IðunnH2's first project is a commercial scale e-SAF facility under development near Iceland's international airport which will produce a carbon free drop-in fuel using renewable power and sequestered CO2. Gate2Horizon is a new company, which leverages the experience of its employees in the domain of so-called "exploitation of project results" in large EU-funded Research & Innovation projects (under the Horizon Europe - Pillar II funding programme). We work across diverse sectors such as Bioeconomy, Circular Economy, Mining, Aquaculture, and Health Policy. As part of the consortium in the EU projects, we assist project partners in the exploitation of their project results with a hands-on approach and tools to make sure the results coming out of the project are "exploited" at the end of the project's lifetime, that is "made us of to tackle societal problems, in policymaking or for commercial purposes". In the initial phase, we identify and characterize results and their potential owners. We thereafter monitor them and select the ones with the most potential, which we nurture throughout the project lifetime with the help of our tools and services.​ We do it through: - conducting workshops on different commercial and entrepreneurial topics - holding individual coaching sessions with project partners - using credible methodologies such as the Value Proposition, Business Model Canvas, EC's Innovation Radar In a nutshell, we exploit the project results and help them on their journey towards market-ready and standalone businesses or we connect them to partners that can help with further research and development toward market readiness.
