MindfulHU is an early-stage tech startup from KTH, Royal Institute of Technology, developing solutions for stress reduction through digital mindfulness. Our first product is a device that can imitate human breath and guided breath meditation for mindfulness beginners and people under high stress.

The first ultra portable spirometer connected to a smartphone that lets you measure your lung health in seconds, sold at a fraction of the price of standard spirometers. Interaction with machines is constantly changing. Automation is increasing, but the number of machines we interact with is also increasing. These conditions require new and easier ways of interacting with machines to allow more people to control a greater number of machines with less effort and training. That’s why we are ushering in a new paradigm of control systems. Ntention are building a system of interaction between the people and the machines that are user-centered – not machine centered. The machine will understand the user – not the other way around. Our goal is to understand the intent of the user and translate it into machines. This is how we are moving beyond motion capture and into the world of intention capture.

We are making world class audio effects for bass players. The main goal is to give bass players great  tools to be more creative.  The product portfolio includes distortion, filters, equalizer, octave, tremolo and compressor.  Our effects can be heard recordings from many leading artist like The Strokes, Highasakite, Karpe Diem and Big Bang.

The uMover® is a smart and usability-focused 3-wheel electrical vehicle for transporting people over shorter indoor and outdoor distances (0,5-5 km). It has been developed by us, DTU spinout CJ Company IVS, whom have built the uMover® upon a future mobility concept proposed by Continental AG (CAG). The uMover® targets employees who need to travel frequently within shorter distances, enabling them to become more efficient at work by easing their way of travel and reducing their travel time substantially. The uMover® will be a superior work-environment travel solution, as it – due to its smart design – offers the flexible advantages of walking, but with the similar speed and ease as driving a car or a bike. Drawbacks of the solutions in the market today are high prices, space requirements (especially for cars), no compliance with traffic regulations and laws and poor safety control (limiting the indoor application possibilities). Through cooperation with DTU and CAG we have been able to complete a full proof-of-concept and develop several of the unique mechanical components and are now in the detailing phase of the mechanical and electrical construction for a scale-up of the uMover®.
