Just living on earth these last couple of years has been exhausting and guess what, spending 100 hours just trying to find something to watch is not really what we are in the mood for at the end of yet another day in covid/war/climate crisis-times or any time for that matter. Streaming platforms are undeserving their users' need for a fast and uncomplicated path to discovery. Disney+, Apple TV+, NBC Universal’s Peacock, Warner Media’s HBO Max were all launched between November 2019 and May 2020, paving the way for what media calls the ‘Streaming War’. Needless to say the competition has become tougher over the last couple of years. In order to attract new users the content on each respective platform doesn’t seem to be the main trigger for people anymore, but rather the platform's algorithmic technology. Meaning how the content is organised, how accessible it is and the way it is presented on the platform. These algorithms are also called a ‘sociotechnical process’ by scientists and have over the last decade emerged as a crucial part of shaping our culture and personal taste through complex relationships between human and non-human players. We spend hours of our lives scrolling through these different platforms trying to find something we’d like to watch. Research suggests we spend 100 hours per year for an average user to be exact, only on Netflix. That's a total of over 21 billion hours per year. 21 billion hours in turn is 2,4 million years. Our first app is in the works and will help users figure out their own taste as well as recommend things to watch based on their own preferences, without overwhelming them in a sea of options. So, will the future of streaming require us to scroll and jump in between platforms in the same way as we do today? Not if we get to decide! We believe in a scroll-free world and Hint will provide not just one way to deal with this but many.

Beyond the collaborations is the semi-permanent collection of NIKO JUNE studiowear and gear. (1) GOOD OBJECTS The ones you keep. Those that are made to keep. We are aware that for anyone to get there, to hold on, what matters is only partly the object itself. The defining factor is the attitude of the owner (ownership). But we get somewhere by proposing objects that demand attention for more than a minute. Not by glazing it white, nor pastel or by bending it to match your curves. Instead we wish for you to call us out as loud and opinionated. We are high maintenance. Classic forever. By testing we mean doing experiments on established notions of the designed. And to challenge the conditions of use that follows. Good objects are such that give power to an attitude that treats sustainability, not as science but as emotion. (2) FLEXIBLE Our body is flexible like the smell of patchouli. Meaning that our structure is non-static and open ended. Our identity is a moving thing that allows us to be spontaneous and reactive to sudden impulse or intriguing demands. Impulsivity applies to our process of making. Short production lead-time and fast thinking while aiming for an unhurried object feel and life. Soft legacy. (3) COLLABORATIONS Involving fine talent and expertise naturally help us exercise flexibility and sport us with longer, sleeker limbs to show off. The workshop acts as an international bank of professional, critical and creative exchange. This gives rise to perspectives and intentions or problems as well as solutions that we couldn’t have come up with alone. Also- we do it for the fun of it. This is giving all the way around. Collaborations will always be either limited edition or made by order.

At Mellonn we want to make the most advanced AI solutions accessible to everyone. With our first product, Mellonn Speak, we are revolutionising the way you transcribe interviews. This is done by using AI and cloud services, to make a quick transcription, and then you can use the built in tools to easily edit the transcription to your liking. Mellonn Speak, as of right now cuts the time it takes to transcribe a 1 hour interview, from approximately 7-10 hours to about 2 hours. Transcribing is one of the most boring and irritating tasks you can give yourself, I want to make it a task that's done quickly, and where you don't have to do the hard work yourself.

REGULATING MODERN TECHNOLOGY We develop 'lifestyle systems’ and the market's first AI-integrated hybrid watch that is designed to counter information overload. Our technology interprets and disperses information to only notify of what is subjectively relevant and important to the user. Our mission is to eradicate the abuse of digital communication to create a socially sustainable cyber life. The market need is indicated by the fact that people receive an average of 64 notifications a day and only a fraction are relevant to the user. The ordinary functionality is static and delivers information regardless of the user's wishes and needs at any given moment, which impairs focus and causes stress. The notifications do not differ from one another regardless of severity and they are all based on sources instead of topics and people. We circumvent this inconvenience and offer a solution that ensures that the user never has to be distracted in vain. Our solution is aimed at high-performing, social, and fashion-conscious men and women mainly in the ages 30-50, who highly benefit from saving time, remaining focused, and reducing screen-time and stress in everyday life. THE FUTURE OF SMART PRODUCTS We solve the problem with a watch that works as a digital ‘gatekeeper’ against irrelevant information rather than an extension to the mobile phone like regular smartwatches. Our vision is to be a world leading digital receipt storage facility. With a focus on business to consumer and consumer to consumer commerce, our vision will be achieved through our service enabling, a user to store an original receipt of any kind or create a custom receipt using one of our many standardized templates. Through Ekvitta, we seek to help reduce the volume goods sold that were obtained via theft or other illegal means. When an item is sold aftermarket, the original receipt is often not provided in the transaction. It might have been misplaced or just thrown away. Using Ekvitta, the seller can easily attach the original receipt along with the new receipt to the buyer. Ekvitta maintains a reliable record of past receipts, establishes a trace from seller to buyer, and updates that history resale after resale. If a buyer demands an Ekvitta receipt, it becomes much more difficult to sell stolen goods to unsuspecting consumers.

The online market for funiture is only now getting started in Norway, and we are a part of it. Our main focus are four brands who focus on sustainability and recycled materials. And we are able to provide these to clients who live in such remote areas that they do not have access to these.
