NORM is a norm critical consulting firm that equips individuals, businesses and organisations with the skills and tools they need to create more equal and inclusive environments. Using our backgrounds in anthropology and communication, we work with collecting, analysing and presenting data; holding workshops and courses; and supporting organisations in their development of policies, texts, images and websites. This is all in order to strengthen organisations’ competencies in working pro-actively to create lasting change.

Børnebasen er en SaaS virksomhed der leverer en platform som organiserer og samler alle typer sociale tilbud til udsatte børn, unge og familier ét sted, så fagfolk i kommunerne nemt kan få et hurtigt overblik og finde det bedste tilbud til barnet. Platformen indeholder dermed tilbud både fra frivillige foreninger og organisationer, samt fra private virksomheder og bygger på den måde bro mellem alle sektorer i Danmark - den kommunale, den frivillige og private sektor. Littleunbox er et månedligt abonnement, der er skræddersyet til gravide og forældre til babyer, som er mellem 0 og 2 år. Produkterne i boksen er særligt tilpasset til barnets alder og udvikling. Hver måned modtager vores medlemmer udvalgte kvalitets produkter til barnet, samt overraskelser der kan glæde mor, og far. De udvalgte kvalitetsprodukter vil hver måned variere og indeholde både økologiskbabymad, plejeprodukter samt lege- og pusleprodukter. Som nybagt mor, havde jeg set et stort behov for at blive inspireret af de kvalitetsprodukter til min baby, der er relevante for mig uden at jeg selv forestå al research på produkterne. Der fødes over 61.000 børn om året i Danmark og jeg ville gerne levere en service til de nybagte forældre, som gør det første år med den ny baby nemmere. SHADES OF LOVE collects new and used sunglasses and distributes them in remote high mountain regions. In the Himalayas and the Andes, the majority of the population lives in extremely remote regions at an altitude of 2,500 to 6,500 meters. They are exposed to harmful UV rays all year round. Even when it’s cloudy, the UV-radiation penetrates these high-altitude areas. The unique geological and climatic conditions make the sun exposure there so incomparably dangerous. In these heights, the UV filter of the atmosphere is 5 kilometres shorter, than under ‘normal’ conditions. Up to 80% of the population suffers from eye diseases, blindness, or cancer in their lifetime. Many indigenous people fall victim to eye diseases before they turn 30 years old. Some of these diseases are even deadly. Normally, they lead to blindness. Consequently, many can no longer pursue their work, due to blindness and are thus threatened in their existence. It is scientifically proven that living in high altitude correlates strongly with visual impairment. It’s also proven that quality sunglasses can mitigate infection risks and rates. We have distributed hundred thousands of sunglasses to people in the most remote high-altitude regions in the world to prevent the issue and its consequences. We also conduct eye surgeries together with local and foreign doctors to not only prevent, but also cure ocular diseases. Since the start of our project we have expanded and moved beyond the Himalayas to help as many people in need as possible.

Ambitious Africa is an initiative bringing African and Nordic youth together to take Africa to the next level. Working together providing high-quality education for future African educators and top-level business development support for local entrepreneurs. Ambitious Africa is an initiative, primarily consisting of Nordic student-lead entrepreneurial societies. The initiative is growing rapidly and now the organization needs ambitious Nordic students to work in the national operations in collaboration with local African counterparts. This is a unique opportunity to learn by doing while being supported by a community of young doers, experienced entrepreneurs, the private sector, and government entities. The national teams are cross-continental, primarily consisting of two people from the Nordics and two people from the African nation in question. The primary responsibility of the National Teams is to build an infrastructure to enable young doers to do novel entrepreneurial initiatives in the country in question. National Teams have free hands to build up the operations as they see fit based on the challenges and opportunities of the nation. We are currently looking for people for all 54 African nations starting with Rwanda, Tunisia, Mozambique, Uganda, Gambia, and Ghana. However, if you have contacts or experiences from other countries go for it, join the national team for that country.

Our startup helps handicapped citizens manage their municipality helpers. There's a lot of confusion and stress related to keeping track of which helpers are doing what, sending their time sheets to the municipality and other similar issues like "tabt arbejdesfortjeneste". All of it usually requires a lot of different, separate calendars, and handitime is a shared calendar between citizens, parents and helpers, where the helpers themselves can put in the hours they use, and then the citizen and/or their parents just have to approve it, export to excel, and send it to their municipality.
