CYF Digital grew from a volunteer project aimed at enhancing the integration of asylum seekers in Finland by utilizing digital innovation and social media. We are a creative activity concept for kids aimed to help kids to find their voice through game, art and literature. Last winter as the pandemic was at its worst we decided to write and release a kidsbook as podcast. The idea was to bring some light into kids pandemic-driven days and make the story accessible to all, no matter background. We wrote and recorded it without any professional help as the idea was never to make money of off it. However, a few months later our podcast hit almost 15k downloads.
