The EU has voted for a directive that is called CSRD, which in danish is equivalent to ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) But we don't just do that. We also help architects and others in the construction industry with LCA's (Life Cycle Analysis) And we offer a marketing strategy and a plan to fulfill the goals in the ESG plan. Finally, we're making a platform, that is going to revolutionize the industry. We want to automate as much of the processes as possible. Foodture is an innovative food company developing plant-based, fermented products using locally sourced ingredients. Developing new plant-based products that consumers love, and that are competitive with industrially-produced meat, is a key element of the transition towards a green economy and a regenerative way of life. Foodture’s product is a version of tempeh made from locally-sourced legumes which are fermented and then prepared as blocks, cubes, patties or in a shredded version. The product is used currently mainly in food service applications, but there are many other possibilities. Several product development efforts are ongoing, including collaborations with Aarstiderne and Noma. There is a real sense of momentum in the category, with a high pace of innovation and competition. The environmental footprint of tempeh is very low compared to red and white meat, but also compared to most other meat alternatives on the market today.
