To the average person, it’s an expensive and overwhelming process that involves listmaking, phone calls with real estate agents, taking time off from work, packing, heavy lifting, buying takeaway dinners, cleaning, and so on. Have you ever wondered why there’s no app that could help alleviate the pain points of moving? We have. That’s why we founded Between – Norway’s first moving platform. Between is a digital service that revolutionizes the moving process with technology, innovation and the ability to understand needs. To the average person, it means less stress and more control. To electrical and insurance companies, who each year lose thousands of customers due to address changes, it will lead to a lower churn rate and a higher return on investment. To real estate agents and developers, we will provide added value to a much smoother customer journey. What we have achieved We are a small group of entrepreneurs who have founded several successful businesses together. One of which is an online change of address service, a pilot company which has helped us research the moving market for the last two years – with over 50.000 registered customers in Norway and Sweden. Between is the next step. Not just for us, but for the millions of people out there who are about to begin a new life in a new home. Bile duct cancer is an aggressive form of cancer with an extremely poor overall five-year survival rate of just 2-5 %. Classified as an orphan disease, annual incidence in Europe and the United States of 15-22,000 patients, and a significantly higher incidence in Asia, makes it a major player and the deadliest of the gastrointestinal cancers. Only a small number of patients are eligible for a complete surgical resection by local resection or liver transplantation, and more than 50% of these relapse. Thus, there is an urgent and unmet medical need to develop new and better treatment strategies for these patients. The innovations developed by Seald are a result of adopting a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of bile duct cancer, based on extensive drug sensitivity assays on living cancer cells, molecular biomarkers, DNA sequencing, extensive bioinformatics analyses and zebrafish models. Sealds’s holistic approach is unique with possible modes of action that can be used on other solid cancers. Our technology includes drug repurposing and innovation on new medical substances, diagnostics and methodology. Our first project is developing an auscultation learning tool for students. Students will be able to verify their own interpretations of lung sounds using our machine-learning technology

"Lifeboats have killed more people than they have saved!" The statement is as far as I know unsupported, but widely known within the market of lifesaving equipment. Regulatory development, or rather a lack of such, has created a worldwide situation where lifesaving equipment on ships, ferries, cruise liners, you name it, have been torn between manufacturers, owners, service providers, and class and flag authorities, where all parties are biased by their commercial interest and their hopefully unconscious gamble that such equipment never has to be used. Not on their vessel. Not on my watch. The gamble is made with human lives at stake, and unfortunately, the odds are already written in blood. My system is based on my almost 20 years in this busyness. I have been a sailor who has trusted my own life on such equipment. I have been fortunate enough to use such equipment to save others. I have been responsible for the maintenance of such, I have worked with the leading manufacturers of such equipment as well as with companies providing service and inspections. I have also been part of the international organization responsible for the development of the rules for lifesaving equipment, and I have monitored this work closely for the last 10 years. I have seen all sides of the above-mentioned struggle. I know at the end of the day safety is at stake. I also have the solution. My system will benefit all parties and make equipment integrity and safety profitable for all. I am looking for a co-founder, CTO, and system developer to make my dream come true. I need someone with a passion to make a difference. SKAP kreativ folkehøyskole er en frilynt folkehøyskole under etablering. SKAP er godkjent for 100 elever, og vil ta imot første kull fra høsten 2016. Målet med skolen er å bidra til nyskaping ved å utfordre kreativ tenkning og utfoldelse. SKAP ligger sentralt i Mandal, og eies av næringsliv og det offentlige i felleskap. Skolen er internat-basert og vil ha 10-15 ansatte. Internatet brukes til hotell om sommeren.
