Nomad Avenue is a direct-to-consumer jewelry brand founded in Copenhagen in 2020. Our jewelry is inspired by the big city, by urban art, and by the unnoticed beauty around us. The company is run by Nicholas (former founder and CEO of Maria Black Jewelry) and Anders (tech startup founder and business developer).

At ClearView Trade, we want to digitalise Danish exports. We want to minimise the time and resources that Danish companies spend on booking transportation as well as completing and obtaining all the relevant documents and certificates regarding export. In cooperation with the Danish Chamber of Commerce, the Confederation of Danish Industry, the Danish Agriculture & Food Council, SME Denmark and the Danish Tax Authority, we already offer fully digitalised customs declaration forms as well as the issuance of Certificates of Origin.

At Really we make the mundane come alive with magic. We create games and interactive entertainment, real-time applications, and virtual/augmented reality. As games industry professionals we have worked with top names in digital arts and entertainment, ranging from Angry Birds and Minecraft to Childish Gambino and Disney. We are currently working on our own virtual reality application for creating music - Virtuoso!

SHADES OF LOVE collects new and used sunglasses and distributes them in remote high mountain regions. In the Himalayas and the Andes, the majority of the population lives in extremely remote regions at an altitude of 2,500 to 6,500 meters. They are exposed to harmful UV rays all year round. Even when it’s cloudy, the UV-radiation penetrates these high-altitude areas. The unique geological and climatic conditions make the sun exposure there so incomparably dangerous. In these heights, the UV filter of the atmosphere is 5 kilometres shorter, than under ‘normal’ conditions. Up to 80% of the population suffers from eye diseases, blindness, or cancer in their lifetime. Many indigenous people fall victim to eye diseases before they turn 30 years old. Some of these diseases are even deadly. Normally, they lead to blindness. Consequently, many can no longer pursue their work, due to blindness and are thus threatened in their existence. It is scientifically proven that living in high altitude correlates strongly with visual impairment. It’s also proven that quality sunglasses can mitigate infection risks and rates. We have distributed hundred thousands of sunglasses to people in the most remote high-altitude regions in the world to prevent the issue and its consequences. We also conduct eye surgeries together with local and foreign doctors to not only prevent, but also cure ocular diseases. Since the start of our project we have expanded and moved beyond the Himalayas to help as many people in need as possible.

Ambitious Africa is an initiative bringing African and Nordic youth together to take Africa to the next level. Working together providing high-quality education for future African educators and top-level business development support for local entrepreneurs. Ambitious Africa is an initiative, primarily consisting of Nordic student-lead entrepreneurial societies. The initiative is growing rapidly and now the organization needs ambitious Nordic students to work in the national operations in collaboration with local African counterparts. This is a unique opportunity to learn by doing while being supported by a community of young doers, experienced entrepreneurs, the private sector, and government entities. The national teams are cross-continental, primarily consisting of two people from the Nordics and two people from the African nation in question. The primary responsibility of the National Teams is to build an infrastructure to enable young doers to do novel entrepreneurial initiatives in the country in question. National Teams have free hands to build up the operations as they see fit based on the challenges and opportunities of the nation. We are currently looking for people for all 54 African nations starting with Rwanda, Tunisia, Mozambique, Uganda, Gambia, and Ghana. We do this via our modern B2B SaaS-administration platform and dedicated IOS and Android apps for the tenants. Our mission is to provide the perfect tenant experience - always referring to our statement that a good tenant experience can also be good business. Why? As modern tenants we expect more of the places we live. Most of us have bad experiences with landlords, not knowing who to contact when shit hits the fan. Most of us can recognise the frustration of tons of paper work or extra bills coming in when moving in or out. And most of us also can imagine how a perfect tenant experience would look like if we could choose our selves. Rent is, after all, for most of us the biggest recurring expense in our lives! Therefore it is only fair to expect something extraordinary in return for all those rent payments and service charges. Vi arbejder for at reducere vores enorme plastikproduktion ved blandt andet at eliminere unødvendig engangsplastik fra vores produkter, ved at sætte bedre rammer for hvordan vi designer produkter til mere genbrug, og det plastik vi ikke kan genbruge, skal vi kunne genanvende. Vi arbejder både på politisk niveau, sammen med befolkningen, i samarbejde med innovationspartnere, på internationalt niveau, sammen med forskere og med at uddanne vores fremtidige generationer om problemet.
