Celora Studio is a start-up from Uppsala, Sweden, who designs, manufactures and sells sound-transparent speaker covers. So that you can show your personality, and design your home the way you like it. Soon we'll be launching Canvas – a speaker cover in a sound-transparent and eco-labelled fabric that allows you to change the color of Sonos One. Our next step is to create speaker covers for more Sonos products, and for other speaker ranges. Our vision is to make electronics something that adds beauty and personality to your home, rather than something you want to hide. And that you should never have to replace electronics just because you don’t like the look of it anymore. So how did we get here? First of all, we have a passion for entrepreneurship and wanted to build a company. A company with a sustainable business model, and where people can be happy and thrive. We also saw that small multi-room and smart speakers are becoming increasingly popular, but they mostly come in black, white and gray. Through qualitative studies we identified the need to change the look of these speakers, and realised it could be done through speaker covers. Since then we have also seen the need to personalise home electronics in general. We hope that being able to change the look of home electronics and applicances will increase their lifespan and reduce waste. This leads us to sustainability, which is an important aspect of what we do. We want to find ways that our business can contribute to the Agenda 2030 goals. W4W is a danish NGO working for Clean Water and Sanitation for all. Our main area of operation is Africa. So far we've raised funds for about 50 water pumps for poor communities across five African countries. Communities in need apply on our website for clean water assistance. We review the requests and our local partners visit promising communities to evaluate needs and provide borehole installation quotes. We then fundraise, mainly from Danish companies and donors, to sponsor water projects matched to communities. Our partners handle borehole establishment and provide project updates and photos to sustain engaged support. This model allows donors to directly aid worthy recipients in achieving life-changing clean water access. At mellōw we strive to raise the bar on chocolate. We produce high-end single-origin chocolate following the bean-to-bar principles. All processing of cacao beans into chocolate is done by hand. We source raw cacao beans from small local farmers from across the world and craft the chocolate at our craft shop in Copenhagen, Denmark. We make chocolate from carefully selected cocoa beans from some of the world's unique cocoa origins. We buy exclusively from farmers who grow their cocoa beans under 100% ethical and sustainable conditions.
