GoWish, Ønskeskyen

GoWish was originally launched in 2015 as a wishlist gimmick by the national Danish-Swedish postal service, PostNord. In 2020, it was spun out by VC Dotcom Capital, and has since the launch of its international app GoWish in 2023 evolved into a global social shopping phenomenon. GoWish is a digital platform for wish lists and inspiration, where users can easily create wishes, as well as collect and share their wish lists and inspiration lists. With a large universe of inspiration, the app is a Social Shopping platform designed to inspire users to discover products, new ideas, and trends – and to add wishes directly in the app or from any online store. Users can create wish lists for birthdays, Christmas, weddings, and any other occasion, and share them with friends and family. In this way, GoWish serves as a social tool that makes it easy to find the perfect gift while avoiding duplicate gifts and unnecessary returns.

Pluto.markets (YC W22)

Pluto.markets is one of the most promising scale-ups on the Nordic venture scene, backed by Y-combinator, Seed Capital and 10 local unicorn founders - building the next chapter of investing to challenge investment titans like Saxo Bank/Nordnet. Founded in Copenhagen in 2021, we have built the first and only investment platform in the Nordics offering zero commission trading, fractional shares and recently added crypto to the platform with many new and innovative features in the pipeline. Founders are former Goldman Sachs Trader and Economist, Joakim Bruchmann, and software engineer Oscar Vingtoft - building their second business together. We are based on Købmagergade in the city centre - with a team currently of 9 FTEs with additional freelance support (of which half are engineers).

Karma is leading the fight against food waste with an app that connects restaurants, cafés and grocery stores with users eager to purchase unsold food at a lower price. The platform creates a new way for retailers to minimise their food waste and reach new customers, while users eat well and save money—it’s a win-win! Karma is rapidly expanding and we're always looking for new talent to join our team. Every year, 1/3 of all food produced is thrown away, resulting in 1.3 billion tonnes of waste worldwide.The idea is simple; Karma is an app that connects restaurants, cafés and grocery stores with users eager to purchase unsold food at a lower price. All Gravy: All the people stuff in one employee app - built for hospitality Hospitality is one of the largest employment sectors in Europe. It's also one of the most chaotic to operate. The average multi-site restaurant group or hotel brand manages hundreds of hourly workers across dozens of locations - none of whom sit at a desk, have a work email, or receive information through the same channel twice. The result is predictable. New starters show up on day one not knowing what to do. Training happens inconsistently, or not at all. Managers spend half their day answering the same questions on repeat. Communication happens in WhatsApp groups that the business doesn't own, can't audit, and can't control. Staff churn - already the highest of any industry, averaging 75% annually - gets worse. And operators have no way of knowing why. The tools that exist to solve this were built for office workers. They assume laptops, corporate email, and people who sit still. Hospitality doesn't work like that. All Gravy is the fix. Metacore is formed by small game teams, each deciding which games to build, when to ship them, and when to pivot or kill them. As a company, we’re relatively small too. We’re going at 50+ employees but growing fast. Metacore was officially launched in August 2020, alongside our first hit game Merge Mansion and €25M in funding from Supercell. In April 2021, we announced our first results and a €150M credit line to further accelerate our growth.
