CircuCity

CircuCity is a circular e-commerce platform built to make sustainable consumption easier, more practical, and honestly, more appealing in everyday life. At its core, it is a marketplace where people can buy and sell second-hand items alongside new sustainable products, all within one ecosystem designed to extend product life cycles. But it’s not just about transactions. It’s about shifting habits. The problem we are addressing is rooted in the linear economy — the “take, make, dispose” model that still dominates global consumption patterns. Products are manufactured, purchased, used briefly, and discarded, often long before their functional life ends. This cycle drives resource depletion, carbon emissions, and growing waste streams. At the same time, consumers are becoming more aware of environmental challenges. Many want to make better choices, but the systems around them are fragmented and inconvenient. Second-hand markets exist, of course. But they are often scattered across multiple platforms, inconsistent in quality, and sometimes lacking trust. Sustainable alternatives, on the other hand, can be expensive or difficult to find. As a result, the intention to consume responsibly frequently clashes with convenience, price, and habit. People default to what is easiest — and that often means buying new, fast, and disposable. CircuCity bridges this gap. We provide a unified, user-friendly platform where circular choices are not an afterthought but the default. By integrating resale, reuse, and sustainable new products into one marketplace, we reduce friction in the decision-making process. Users can extend the life of items they no longer need, discover quality second-hand goods, and support more responsible brands — all in one place. Beyond functionality, we are building incentives into the system. Through mechanisms such as reward points, engagement challenges, and community features, CircuCity makes sustainable behavior visible and rewarding. The goal is not to lecture or guilt consumers into better habits. It is to design a system where circular consumption feels natural, economically sensible, and even motivating. Why does this matter? Because structural change requires behavioral change, and behavioral change requires better infrastructure. People cannot be expected to consistently choose sustainability if the systems around them prioritize speed and disposability. By making circular options more accessible, trustworthy, and engaging, we aim to shift consumption patterns at scale. CircuCity is not claiming to solve overconsumption overnight. But we believe that by extending product lifespans, reducing unnecessary waste, and empowering conscious consumers, we can contribute to a more regenerative economic model. In the long run, small individual decisions — when supported by the right platform — can accumulate into meaningful systemic impact. We are building a travel safety platform for individual travelers. Travel remains a strong driver of connection and understanding, but it now takes place in a more complex global environment. Geopolitical instability, climate-related events, health risks, and sudden local disruptions have become more frequent and less predictable. At the same time, international mobility remains high, and people continue to travel across borders for leisure, work, and personal reasons. Our research shows a clear gap between the desire to travel and the confidence to do so. In our survey work, a majority of respondents indicate that they would value a solution that combines timely safety warnings with practical, location-specific guidance. Market trends point in the same direction: travelers are increasingly attentive to safety and preparedness, while existing information sources remain fragmented, generic, or difficult to apply in real situations. Our purpose is to make travel safety clearer, more relevant, and easier to act on. We are developing a technology-based approach that brings together trusted international data, local context, and intelligent processing to support better decisions before and during travel. The focus is not on providing more information, but on providing the right information at the right time. The platform is structured around two core elements. The first is warnings and alerts when relevant incidents or changes occur. The second is a practical “411 guide” that provides contextual information about local conditions, norms, and considerations that matter for safety and confidence while traveling. Together, these elements form a consistent safety layer that follows the individual traveler, independent of destination. Technology and AI are essential to this approach. By aggregating multiple data sources and applying contextual filtering, we reduce noise and increase relevance. This allows complex and fast-changing situations to be translated into clear guidance that travelers can understand and use. We believe this represents a necessary evolution in travel technology. Safety is no longer a separate concern handled through static advice or manual checks. It needs to be integrated into the travel experience itself, in a way that supports mobility rather than restricting it. Our long-term ambition is to contribute to safer, more confident travel in a changing world. By improving access to relevant information and reducing uncertainty, we believe technology can help people continue to explore, connect, and engage across borders with greater awareness and responsibility. We are enabling the mounting of solar systems in fragile or challenging terrains. Current mounting structures are based on pile ramming, concrete or similar solutions. This limits the number of locations for ground mounted solar systems or makes it very expensive to build these systems. These systems are also very labour intensive, making it difficult to develop solar systems in locations where labour is hi-cost. Since current mounting structures is best for large flat areas, these systems also face competition for other purposes also valuing large flat areas. This makes the alternative cost of the area rather high. We are aiming on mitigating these challenges with our mounting system, opening for larger solar systems in areas that until now have been deemed not suitable. This because the soil conditions are too difficult, the terrain demands too much soil cultivation making the cost high either economical or ecological, the labour cost is too high, or the flat and open landscape is prioritized for other purposes than solar systems. We are not competing with existing mounting system, but opening new possibilities for more solar energy worldwide.
