Other citizens can then use the Uptainer to find "new" electronics they can take home and give new life. To support the Uptainers, we are developing an application, that shows an overview of Uptainers and the items placed in them and gives the users statistics showing their personal impact as well as the combined impact. Updropp is a one-person startup, being developed with ongoing help from advisors, collaborators, and interns. We are still in the discovery/product development phase. Right now we have a BETA version of our Uptainer placed at Det Bæredygtige Forsamlingshus, and are using this to gather insight for our 1.0 design of the Uptainer. We expect that to be ready for launch in primo 2024.
