Stoqup

Stoqup is on a mission to completely change the way products such as food oils (such as olive oil) and beverages (such as spirits) are packaged. Typically these products are filled into glass bottles, which have been shipped half way around the world from the bottle manufacturer to the bottling facility, to then again be shipped half way around the world to the end customer. The carbon footprint that this leaves behind is pretty scary. Our alternative is not only significantly lighter and hence better for our Planet, it also has a positive impact on the shelf life of the product, helping to preserve its freshness and flavour and reduce food waste. We've called this innovation the FullFlow package, a direct replacement to the glass bottle. The unique feature about FullFlow is that it can replace glass bottles as small as 250ml (in fact even smaller but we've decided to start with the most popular sizes first), without any negative impact on flow rate, flow pattern and product evacuation. We've developed the FullFlow package in close cooperation with some of the most reputable olive oil manufacturers around the globe, and interest for the product has exceeded our expectations. We still performing product/market fit research in preparation for our launch some time (hopefully) in 2022. Thus far we have received pre-seed funding from the UIC business incubator in cooperation with Vinnova.

Favuseal

Favuseal is a Norwegian technology company that has developed an ultra-thin passive fire protection technology. The proprietary technology is the foundation for derived products in the form of easy-to-use wrap-on solutions in order to provide unprecedented level of fire protection to safeguard human lives and commercial assets. The Favuseal technology was included into NORSOK in 2019, and is now getting attention on a global scale from Tier 1 asset owners. The core of the business is revolving around the ultra-thin TOTAL DESIGN INTEGRITY concepts "Powered by Favuseal" that has been developed for cables and pipework. An impressive Intellectual Property Rights database is supporting the commercial initiatives, and several Tier 1 partnerships are about to be signed. The IPR will provide ongoing inherent protection to licences and partners tapping into the value proposition of Favuseal. The company aims for the vision of "Introducing extreme ultra-thin passive fire protection Everywhere!". The company is currently in ramp-up state, and will invest into digital initiatives and human resources going forward. The company is currently experiencing a drive into use of the technology within green tech such as wind mills and hydrogen, and will actively continue to pursue such leads going forward. The company has developed 3 different platforms in 3 different segments where each platform can cater for ANY fire scenario attributable to the specific segment. No other company has the tech to do the same. The company will actively pursue value-added stakeholders going forward that can help to contribute to realising the potential of the various segments.

Positival

Positival AS has a vision to help and strengthen people through knowledge so that they can live their lives in the best possible way. Positival was founded in 2019 by Preeti Agarwal. Preeti is musculoskeletal physiotherapist (physiotherapist with a specialist master's degree). The title means that she is the primary contact and can provide referrals and sick leave. Preeti has both national and international experience from Finnmark in the north to South Africa and Australia in the south. She is focused on using innovation and creativity to find solutions to societal problems. The positive platform falls under medical equipment and is a platform to treat and prevent musculoskeletal disorders. The solution is user-centered and evidence-based. It contains, among other things, automated mapping, digital consultation and workshops, as well as digital tools adapted to the user. The company has received both market research and commercialisation grant from Innovation Norway and is, among other things, affiliated with EIRA - which is a growth program developed and delivered by Norwegian Smart Care Cluster and Validé. Positival is in a phase now where the company needs to bring in the right expertise that can take the company further.

Live Klassisk

Live Klassisk is a new digital platform for classical music, providing easy access to all live classical concerts, festivals, ensembles and venues in Scandinavia. Our goal is to make classical music more approachable and engaging through a strong unified digital presence. The platform is the first of its kind for classical music and has a significant global potential in a big and widely respected industry that is - thankfully for us - lacking digital innovation. In spite of lockdown, our small team has already made a big impact on the classical music industry in Scandinavia in a very short time. The Company Arcticode is developing an easy to use mobile order and payment service to help food and beverage venues capture feedback while at the same time creating better loyalty from guests by incentivizing feedback through loyalty points. There is often less dialogue between guests and staff, and guests these days demand more and more from every visit. This occurs especially in the younger generation starting with millennials and younger. They constantly seek the best experience and will move on from a venue quite fast if expectations are not meet. Most venues in both the food and beverage sector could benefit from having a simple solution to better capture feedback while at the same time providing a simple mobile order and payment solution. The Solution Our solution combines ordering and feedback into one service. The service lets you order and pay while out for food and drinks with your phone as this is becoming the preferred way today while also capturing feedback in-app which provides cash points. These can then be used for discounted meals, snacks, goods, drinks etc. (not alcoholic beverages – Norway edition). We create a win-win situation of having guests leave feedback while also being enrolled in a loyalty program which creates higher interest and recurring visits. Why we do what we do Having worked in the food and beverage service sector you may encounter a lot of less friendly feedback at times, but this is often individuals who do not represent the majority of guests. But when you just don’t know this can make a workday long and tiresome, and rarely inspire anyone to provide a better service. But regardless, you start to understand your guests even better, you can facilitate for an even better service and experience, and this will in turn create a better day for both staff and guest. As a guest, you simply want what you came for, a good experience and a good service. Regardless of what the situation for the staff is. BRØG

In BRØG we are developing a beautiful pour over coffee machine, where the user can control several variables in order to make their preferred cup of coffee. Our vision is to give the user the opportunity to brew the perfect cup of coffee while keeping the machine aesthetically beautiful. Besides that, we want to create an app where our customers can share, download and rate brews and thereby create a community similar to Vivino but for coffee lovers. Our customer segments consist primarily of coffee and design enthusiasts. The Scandinavian countries are the most coffee drinking nations worldwide, with a market potential of 800.000 sales - especially because black pour over coffee is the preferred brewing method. Furthermore, the design often matters a lot when Scandinavians buy new interior equipment and we plan on branding BRØG with that in focus. In order to brew a great cup of pour over coffee with the pour over method, you need to practice a lot to do it perfectly. This is where our machine comes into the picture. When using our machine, the user will be able to adjust all the crucial variables and thereby recreate their favorite cup of coffee every time. Besides that, our machine distributes the water correctly over the beans using our newly patented-pending water distributor. This will together with the right temperature, waterflow, bloom time and bloom water ensure a great cup of coffee. If the user is not an experienced barista or coffee connoisseur, they can use our app and in that find the coffee bean they are using (or a similar one) and see what settings other users have used and what the result was like. Anyone can therefore create a great cup of coffee with minimum effort or knowledge. All the components necessary to control these parameters require very little battery which, together with our battery pack, allows the user to brew a minimum of 100 cups of coffee before having to about recharging the machine. BRØG is portable and gives the user a lot of freedom which together with our design-protected design differentiates us from our competitors. The team consists of three Process and Innovation students from DTU. Our skills as a team cover the fundamental knowledge necessary to run a startup due to us having different qualities and interests. We have a great team spirit and know each other's strengths and weaknesses and help each other whenever the need arises. Two of us have been working on BRØG for the past one and a half years and are now going full time in our company, and the third partner just joined. Besides us, we have a strong team of advisors and mentors. Our advisory board consists of a business lawyer working with startups, a product developer, a business and market expert from CBS and an entrepreneur that we try to meet up with 6 times a year. Besides that, we have a mentor from a previous mentor program with years of experience as a designer within the same luxurious customer segment, who helps us create a beautiful and user-friendly product. This group of people have also helped us create a large network with contacts in all areas of expertise that we need to succeed.
