VårtOslo er en nettavis som dekker Oslo med nyheter, reportasjer og debatt. Formatene er tekst, foto, video og sosiale medier. Bakgrunnen er den påtrengende mangelen på lokaljournalistikk i hovedstaden. Vi dekker de små og store hendelsene som fargelegger byen, vi gjør folk klokere på nærmiljøet sitt i hovedstaden og setter kritisk søkelys på maktutøvere som misbruker sin makt. Vi bidrar til økt demokratisk deltakelse.

Guldstoev consulting group is a company that works for both private and public companies. We are a group of experts within the development of digital solutions. We work with both software, networks and optimization of existing solutions. We work both with existing technologies and work on developing our own tools that can be used by other consulting houses to shape the digital world in 2023.

We create building materials for modern sustainable and toxic-free buildings combining hundreds of years of knowledge and tradition with modern production- and building techniques. Our aim is to make sustainable building commercially viable. Our first product is Lundby Pladen - a strong and fireproof building board made of unburned clay and woodfiber, designet for classic dry-wall construction. In the sustainable building industry there has been a long anticipation for this product. Unburned clay is the optimal material for inner walls in vapor diffusionon open building techniques as preferred in biobased sustainable building. With a strong and light building board we have solved the problem of unburned clay solutions being either too slow, heavy, fragile or expensive for commercial building. The building industry is responsible for between 17-40% of the worlds Co2 emissions. With Lundby Pladen it will be possible to fireprove biobased buildings with a low-emmission, toxic-free and environmentally harmless high quality material, and thus help making our buildings a genuine Co2-storrage instead of as now, a major Co2 polluter. In the coming years the building industry is facing new environmental laws, and will be increasingly depending on products like Lundby Pladen. We experience a major pull from the marked. Building supply markets, architects, craftsmen, standart house developers and entrepreneurs are waiting impatiently for our product to hit the marked.

PeopleVenue is a small consultancy that support other small businesses in HR-related areas, such as recruitment, headhunting, leadership development and organisational change. Setting up an HR department is something many companies wish to do later on their journey, as HR is not always seen as commercially value-adding. But still the challenges of leading, recruiting and developing people arise, when companies hit about a dozen or two employees. That's where PeopleVenue comes in. Supporting when needed. Smartpumps provide service 24/7 all year. Our extended warranty programme covers up to 10 years. All installations are made according to the ISO-9001 standard and is covered by the warranty programme from Dansk Køl og Varme.

We are a product first company that exists to develop interesting hardware and software, to help companies save time and energy. Technical stuff always comes first with us! Currently we offer TempBox.dk that helps kitchen personnel and food companies save time and avoid wasting food. By keeping track of the temperature in cold rooms & freezers. TempBox consists of our in-house developed and produced hardware alongside a web interface. In the spring of 2023 we will launch our new product imoa.io A service consisting of hardware, software, and integration. Currently its hard for small- and medium-sized businesses that manufactures machines to launch digital products and services. We want to change that and make it easier for this customer segment to gain value from their data. And enable them to sell digital products and services to their end customers.

1. We help internationals stay informed and included with their local society with a local news aggregator in English. Riedia is a state of the art AI-powered app, where internationals can read news from multiple trusted local newspapers, translated, summarised, and personalised for them. All in one place. With us, internationals don’t have to go through all the paywalls and translation tools to stay informed and feel like locals. They can read short summaries of the top stories of their region and interests in their daily, customisable personal feed within the time of a fika. 2. It is hard for internationals to get informed and included in Sweden. Without a high level of Swedish, it is taxing for them to find and digest the local news and understand the local politics or what new development and changes are taking place in the city. In addition, there is a high subscription cost of local news, with an average of 2500 kr/year, and they have little information accessible about which newspaper to choose. This problem is shared among around 300,000 foreign-born who do not speak Swedish and around 350,000 who speak Swedish as a second language. There are around 160,000 incoming international students and immigrants in Sweden every year, with a 5.8% growth rate. These are the people we can help include with our product. By helping them, we also contribute to a more inclusive society. 3: With our AI-powered app, internationals can read news from multiple trusted local newspapers, translated, summarised, and personalised for them. All in one place. With us, internationals don’t have to go through all the paywalls and translation tools to stay informed and feel like locals. They can read short summaries of the top stories of their region and interests in their daily, customisable personal feed within the time of a fika. We plan to have three kinds of revenue. One is end-user subscriptions - we are developing three packages ranging from 20 to 150 kr/month based on the features. We plan to provide AI model services for newspapers. A few newspapers have shown interest in using our AI models on their platforms. We will also feature local businesses and events on our platform. Currently, we have no operational costs thanks to the AWS credits provided by KTH Innovation, but in the future, our costs will be marketing, cloud computing, salaries, and R&D. 4: The initial spark was during a conversation we friends had about current events in Sweden, where Melker talked about the news he heard about and experienced, however none of the internationals had ever heard about the events. I am from Sweden. And it is such a shame that in this democratic country, famous for all its inclusiveness and effort for equality, if you don’t speak Swedish, you will have a very hard time understanding the local information and integrating in society. I really believe internationals deserve to have the necessary information no matter if the don't speak swedish.
