Ø12 was founded by Kasper and Enete, with a passion for Copenhagen’s café culture and a simple ambition: to create the kind of brunch place they felt was missing. Where exceptional food, truly great coffee, and genuine hospitality come together. Today, Ø12 has grown into three busy locations and one of the city’s favourite brunch spots. But for us, great cafés are built by great people. We believe outstanding guest experiences start behind the counter, with teams who feel supported, trusted, and proud of what they do. At Ø12, you can expect a fast-paced environment, high standards, and a strong sense of ownership. We care about craft, consistency, and helping each other grow. While keeping things fun and human along the way.

Lydtildinfest

Lydtildinfest.dk is a Danish-based event rental company focused on providing reliable solutions for sound, lighting, and event equipment. The company was created with the idea that high-quality event equipment should be accessible, flexible, and easy to use for both private individuals and professional organizers. Over time, Lydtildinfest.dk has developed into a trusted partner for a wide range of events, from small private celebrations to larger corporate and public gatherings. At its core, Lydtildinfest.dk works with temporary event solutions. This means providing equipment that is used for a limited period but plays a crucial role in the overall experience. Sound systems, lighting, and other event-related equipment are essential elements when creating the right atmosphere, ensuring clear communication, and supporting the structure of an event. Lydtildinfest.dk understands how these elements interact and how important it is that everything functions as expected on the day of the event. The company places strong emphasis on usability and reliability. Event equipment should not be complicated or stressful to work with, especially for customers who may not have technical experience. For that reason, the solutions provided are selected with a focus on functionality, clarity, and adaptability to different event types and environments. Whether the event takes place indoors or outdoors, in a private setting or a professional venue, the goal is to ensure a smooth and predictable setup. Lydtildinfest.dk also values transparency and practical guidance. Events can vary greatly in size, purpose, and complexity, and choosing the right equipment can be challenging. By focusing on clear communication and realistic expectations, the company helps customers understand what different solutions can offer and how they contribute to the overall event. As a company, Lydtildinfest.dk is built around the idea that good events are supported by well-thought-out technical solutions. By combining experience, practical knowledge, and a structured approach to event equipment, the company aims to support events that are organized, functional, and memorable for all participants.

Dimmi

Dimmi is an early-stage Danish legaltech SaaS start-up revolutionising how European companies navigate the complexities of immigration law across the European Union. Companies across Europe are increasingly in need of international labour and talent. Yet navigating immigration law and obtaining work permits is highly challenging and costly for companies of all sizes. Combining unique research and legal insight into migration law and global mobility with augmented retrieval technology, Dimmi is building the first-ever digital infrastructure for end-to-end case handling of international hires, making legal immigration compliance fast, easy, and cost-predictable. From guiding users through the most viable visa track, deadlines, and documentation requirements, Dimmi empowers companies to file compliant applications to the authorities faster, cheaper and with higher rates of compliance. Dimmi is a spin-out company pioneered by a research project conducted by research conducted at the University of Copenhagen, Center of Excellence for Global Mobility Law by Dr Christian Prener with aim of resolving the major legal and financial bottlenecks that European companies face when hiring candidates from outside of the EU. The project is funded by Lighthouse, University of Copenhagen’s innovation centre and currently based at the University of Copenhagen. We are in search of a co-founding CTO to lead the development of the technical platform in collaboration with the Alexandra Institute.

BioPilot

Only 7.9% of new medicin is approved for phase 1 clinical programs - life saving cures are being scrapped because of poor reproducibility. Today, researchers designing complex in vitro and in vivo experiments jump between many tools that do not talk to each other. Protocols are written in free text, naming is inconsistent, raw data is scattered across drives, and inventory and cell banks are tracked separately. This makes it hard to reproduce experiments, compare results across projects, trace which cell material went into which batch, and satisfy regulatory expectations. Small and mid-sized labs often cannot afford enterprise platforms like Benchling or Dotmatics, so they manually glue everything together and rarely get to use advanced analytics or AI. BioPilot solves this by standardising the full early-to-in-vivo CTR pipeline in one product. Users can register and template in vitro experiments (differentiation, expansion, cryopreservation, device testing, etc.) and in vivo studies (animals, groups, dosing, housing, ethics documents) using fixed ontologies. This gives every experiment a structured schema and a precise schedule of readouts, barcodes and data types to collect. Raw data (FACS, scRNA-seq, imaging, counters, bioreactor logs, etc.) is then automatically linked back to the right experiment, condition and sample. On top of this, BioPilot offers: • Inventory and cell bank tracking that makes it trivial to trace which vial, edit or expansion batch was used where. • Live bioreactor monitoring with alarms (email / phone) to prevent losing expensive batches. • A growing library of free analytical tools, including automated FACS gating, scRNA-seq pipelines and image analysis that can feed results straight back into the experiment records. • A global ontology service for vendors, instruments, cell lines, species and process terms, with a roadmap for a public API. Because everything is structured and queryable, BioPilot makes it much easier to compare experiments, run Bayesian optimisation on process parameters, and let AI suggest next-step experiments. The pricing is kept aggressively low (free tier plus a simple paid tier based on storage), so smaller biotech and academic groups can access capabilities that are normally reserved for organisations with large software budgets. In short, BioPilot aims to become the operating system for cell therapy R&D: a single, affordable platform where experiments are planned, executed, monitored and analysed in a way that is standardised enough for automation and flexible enough for real-world biology.

Nørd Studio ApS

Nørd Studio is a Scandinavian branding and packaging agency based in Copenhagen (we work fully remote). We create human brands that communicate clearly and effectively without resorting to shouting. That last part matters. In a world of loud, trend-chasing designs, we deliberately do things differently. Minimal. Honest. Considered. This is not just an aesthetic choice; it's a philosophy that underpins everything we do, from our design process to our pricing strategy and how we treat the people we work with. We specialise in branding, including logos, visual systems, packaging, stationery and pitch decks. We write copy that sounds human, not like a press release. We also build websites from scratch — no templates or shortcuts, just fast, SEO-ready sites. We're a small studio, and that's intentional. Every client works directly with the people doing the work. Every project receives our full attention. There are no account managers, no handoffs and no diluted output. We're not looking to grow quickly. We want to grow well, with the right people on the right projects.

Soolv

At Soolv, we help the world’s most attractive employers identify and develop future stars. Each year, these companies receive thousands of applications - filled with CVs, cover letters, transcripts, assessments, and interview notes. Over time, they generate even more data from performance reviews, staffing decisions, and project evaluations. This represents vast amounts of data that could be used to analyze and predict exceptional talent - yet they still rely on manual processes and intuition for their most important people decisions. Soolv is the AI platform that turns these hidden signals into actionable intelligence - finally bringing data-driven precision to every high-stakes decision about people. We’re backed by top-tier Nordic early-stage investors, and our customers are top firms in investment banking, law, consulting, and tech. Founded by alumni from McKinsey, Spacemaker, and reMarkable, with backgrounds from Cambridge, KTH, and NTNU, we combine deep AI expertise with first-hand experience from high-performance environments.

Hyperion Robotics

At Hyperion Robotics, we are on a mission to bring sustainability and automation to one of the largest and most conservative sectors, the construction industry. Using robotic 3D printing technology and low-carbon upcycled materials we are rethinking the way construction elements are designed and built. We collaborate with leading clients in the construction, industrial and infrastructure sectors and we are backed by some of the top investors in Europe.

Homeswap

Homeswap is a platform where members can stay in each other’s homes instead of paying for accommodation. The model is built on credits: you earn credits when you host other members, and you use those credits to travel. There is no money exchanged between members, which makes the experience feel more personal, fair and community-driven than traditional renting. Travel with Homeswap feels different because you stay in real homes, in real neighbourhoods, from real people. It attracts a type of traveller who values meaning and connection over pure convenience. Many members also like the sustainable aspect – instead of building new hotels or keeping second homes empty, existing space is shared and used better. The platform has already grown organically to members in more than 20 countries. We have not relied on paid marketing so far. Growth has come through word of mouth, community recommendations and people who like the idea of travelling without paying for accommodation.

Praktisktaltvoksen

Lun

Lun is a satellite design automation platform that helps engineers move from concept to launch with speed and clarity. We’re starting with preliminary design, where workflows are slow, fragmented, and emotionally draining. Engineers across disciplines struggle to iterate, align, and stay motivated. After interviewing 30+ professionals in the space industry, we saw a clear need for a tool that simplifies internal layout decisions and highlights early thermal and power risks. We’re building Lun to restore clarity, speed, and energy to the design process—so space teams can build better, faster, and with confidence.

United Nations Youth Association(UNYA) Denmark

UNYA Copenhagen is a volunteer-driven youth organization dedicated to empowering young people to engage with global challenges through the lens of the United Nations’ values and the Sustainable Development Goals. We create an inclusive platform where students and young professionals can learn, collaborate, and take action on issues like climate change, social inequality, peacebuilding, and innovation. We are addressing a clear and growing problem i.e. the disconnect between youth and global institutions. Many young people in Denmark care deeply about sustainability and justice but find it difficult to access meaningful opportunities to participate in international dialogue or contribute to real-world impact. This gap leaves motivated individuals without a channel to apply their energy, creativity, and ideas, while institutions miss out on fresh perspectives and engagement from the very generation that will inherit the future. UNYA Copenhagen bridges this divide by turning global ideals into local action. We organize interactive events, workshops, and panel discussions that make complex global topics accessible and relevant. Our activities are co-created by volunteers from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds who bring their own insights to the table. Through collaboration with universities, NGOs, and public institutions, we connect youth directly with experts and decision-makers, fostering a sense of shared responsibility and agency. What makes UNYA Copenhagen unique is our grassroots approach. We are not just an organization — we are a community that thrives on collective energy and creativity. Every project is designed by young people for young people, ensuring authenticity, inclusivity, and long-term motivation. Our strength lies in our diversity and the genuine commitment of our volunteers, who bring the UN’s global mission to life in a way that feels personal and actionable. The motivation behind UNYA Copenhagen is simple: we believe that youth engagement should not be limited to classrooms or conferences but should become a lived experience. We started this initiative because we wanted to make international dialogue tangible, local, and inspiring. Our team members share a passion for learning, community-building, and positive change — values that drive us to dedicate our time to building something meaningful together. Today, UNYA Copenhagen continues to grow as a platform where ideas turn into impact. We are seeking motivated individuals who want to gain experience in leadership, communication, and project management while contributing to a global cause. By joining The Hub’s Community Program, we hope to reach more passionate volunteers who want to be part of a dynamic network that connects Copenhagen’s youth with the world.
