W4W is a danish NGO working for Clean Water and Sanitation for all. Our main area of operation is Africa. So far we've raised funds for about 50 water pumps for poor communities across five African countries. Communities in need apply on our website for clean water assistance. We review the requests and our local partners visit promising communities to evaluate needs and provide borehole installation quotes. We then fundraise, mainly from Danish companies and donors, to sponsor water projects matched to communities. Our partners handle borehole establishment and provide project updates and photos to sustain engaged support. This model allows donors to directly aid worthy recipients in achieving life-changing clean water access. Vores langvarige samarbejde med RUC om en projektplatform har givet værdifuld støtte til over 1700 forskere og studerende siden 2017. Vi har også betydelig erfaring med at facilitere åben innovation og samarbejde, herunder vores arbejde med Novozymes fra 2019 til 2022 gennem HelloScience.io, hvor vi hjalp over 70 startups, organisationer og virksomheder. Disse initiativer har dannet grundlag for udviklingen af Thirdroom Funding Platform i 2024, hvor vi samarbejder med Venture Cup, IDEON i Sverige og Senpage, en organisation af unge entreprenører. I 2023 udviklede vi en AI og NLP-løsning til universiteterne, som har beriget over 10.000 open access-artikler og matcher dem i realtid til projekter og startups. ElastiSense has developed a portfolio of unique sensor solutions for industrial applications helping its client in their digitalization journey. Assets unplanned downtime is one of the largest challenges across industrial segments causing, in average 1 million USD, revenue loss per incident. Over 80% of the customers experience unplanned downtime, and a similar number believes that digitalization is the tool to minimize this problem. Therefore 55% have or plan to invest in digitalization tools to enable predictive maintenance and better assets monitoring and control. Digital tools like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Digital Twins are designed to facilitate the above. However, they all need data from the assets which must be collected by sensors. Sensors and sensorization of assets are therefore the first part of customers digitalization journey. Available sensor solutions, especially displacement measuring sensors, are historically designed for well-controlled and clean environment like manufacturing industry. They inherent design therefore limits their use in aggressive applications. Therefore, the search for new displacement sensors have never been higher. We are the first who have developed and matured industrial displacement sensors primarily made of rubber material. Thanks to their resilience against mechanical and environmental aggressions, these sensors can sensorized even the most aggressive applications in the field. These sensors can be mounted e.g. on a mining machine, or a bridge or tunnel, on a aggressive manufacturing machine and generate data and information about the moving parts of the machines which breaks most often and therefore in crucial need of monitoring. The founders of ElastiSense are all former employees of Danfoss and have been involved on magnitude of projects where they again and again could see the problem. The founder finally took the leap to start up ElastiSense when they received an enquiry from Grundfos on digitalizing their production line with this new technology. Since then the team have succeeded to introduce the product to multitude of markets verticals.

More than 40% of the electrical energy in office environments is used outside working hours. CO2 in buildings has too high a level, which gives sick employees and students who lose 12% of their learning ability. Ventilation is often oversized by 10-20% due to uncertainty about CO2 levels, which have not been adequately investigated and measured. Often, consulting firms offer a measurement over 30 days. The measurements are only a snapshot of the real picture, which does not take into account the season and number of people in the room. VOCs in buildings are more harmful than first thought. VOC combined with too high CO2 can cause allergic reactions and over time develop asthma. The solution for reducing electricity consumption is to use intelligent automation and with behavior control. A sensor can be set up in areas that are used that automatically turn on the light when there is a person present. Several companies offer this solution, but if it is to be used for something, the devices must send data to the central server, after which you can analyze when and how much. The data set provides better management and control. For the CO2 problem, sensors are set up in the premises. The problem with existing sensors on the market is they have to be mounted with cable that is led maybe 100m away to a central box. It is both expensive and often not without surprises, especially for older buildings where drawings are often not updated. Sawux solves several of the mentioned problems. Sawux is a combination of 5 sensors in the same unit that measure and operate wirelessly. The sensors have access to a Cloud server, where data is collected every minute. Then data can be analyzed and given a real picture over time, which forms the basis for the right decision and correct ventilation systems. Sawux fits into existing 230V electrical environment and does not require cabling, boxes, battery or external power supplies. Sawux connects to the Internet via standard WiFi, which is found in all modern buildings. Sawux's solution is very cost effective and user friendly which is able to provide valid data. The Sawux system comes with an app. and web based energy management system, where you can at any time perform analysis of the building completely at the contact level.

Changing Stories is a charity based in Aarhus, Denmark. Our vision is a world where every kid learns. Today, more kids and youth are in school than ever before. Yet 617 million – 1 in 3 - can’t read or do basic math. The World Bank calls the enormous lack of learning in school systems in low-income countries around the world the global learning crisis. We're on a mission to change that. We do so by working with dedicated local partners in low-income countries around the world that help kids learn through effective learning initiatives. Our geographical focus right now is Nepal, where we are supporting 3 local partners. Our operating costs are covered by a group of private individuals, which means we can send 100% of all other donations directly to the field. We call it the 100%-promise.
