Startup Guide is a publishing and media company that produces guidebooks and online content to help entrepreneurs navigate and connect with different startup scenes across the world. As the world of work changes, its mission is to guide, empower and inspire people to start their own business anywhere. Founded by Sissel Hansen in 2014, Startup Guide today has books in over 30 cities in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the US, including Copenhagen, London, Tel Aviv and New York. In autumn 2018, the company launched a media website, startupguide.com, which was born out of the desire to explore different types of content and reach a wider audience by taking advantage of the digital medium. The first of its kind in Finland, we are delicately building a decentralized solution for a real-time data sales network. Beyond product development, we are also running Ethereum Consulting services and customer projects for those businesses that wish to be a part of this revolution.

At the end of 2013 there was few guys talking about what they would like to do because of the passion of tech and doing things right. About that idea a couple months later Restbyte was founded, we were working on few proof of concept ideas for some time but because of the funding we ended up working on consultancy business.  Anyway we decided keep the initial idea of working on interesting projects which we actually care about and wanted to offer likeminded people a place to work.

Quandify develops an intelligent water meter system for residential property owners that enables sub-metering cost-efficiently. The company’s platform uses machine learning to break down water usage data into outlets and diagnoses an entire homes water and hot water energy usage from a single, patented, non-invasive sensor. In our smartphone app, tenants then receive individually tailored nudges on how to efficiently lower usage, without sacrificing comfortability. The result is an up to 40 % decrease in water usage on average, and as a result, an energy usage reduction of 8 - 16 %, paving the way for a more sustainable and aware public and private residential real estate industry.
