At Minuendo we are passionate about sound and the sense of hearing. We are equally concerned about the state of hearing for both consumers as well as professionals, ranging from musicians to workers in the construction industry. Minuendo was founded in 2018 by a team with extensive experience in acoustics, hearing protection, and product development. Our mission is to deliver category-defining hearing protection products that users will truly enjoy wearing and that will provide real protection.  Shortly after starting the company, we raised a total of EUR 2.5 million from investors such as Construct Venture and EU grants to accelerate our development. Minuendo is a fast-growing start-up based in Oslo. The founders have a track record of start-ups and product development. We have raised NOK 25 million since we started the company in the fall of 2018. What we have made is a new high-end prosumer earplug that reduces noise and protects your hearing, while maintaining high fidelity of ambient sounds, such as music from your own instrument or at concerts. SonoClear AS develops an acoustic contrast fluid to remove noise in ultrasound images, used during brain tumor surgery to guide tumor removal. The goal is to be sure that all tumor is removed, as total resection improves patient outcomes. The technology is developed by neurosurgeons at St.Olavs hospital and engineers at Sintef. The technology is patented worldwide and is developed as a medical device according to ISO13485. The core team consists of CTO, Medical advisor, Quality manager, and Regulatory officer. Med-Storm's Skin Conductance Algesimeter (SCA) uses the principle of skin conductance to measure pain, allowing us to titrate the right amount of pain medication for each, individual patient. This award-winning technology is not affected by changes in blood circulation, heart rate, hypotensia, environmental temperatures, and hypoxia, and shows low variation between individuals at the same level of pain. The pain monitor can be used on patients as young as 23 weeks of gestational age, as well as geriatric patients. MS is currently working on a miniaturized and wireless version of the SCA.

We have developed a camera-based sensor for 24h automatic sea lice counting and biomass measurement. Our product solves the main challenges in high contrast underwater imagery of sea lice with deficient maintenance. We are looking for funding to take the effect to the next level, where approval of our solution in the industry and by authorities are key factors as well as the development of the organization.
