Dry by Design

Vad är bra med regnkläder? Vad är dåligt? Alla har ett förhållande till regn och att bli blöt. Alla har ett behov att kunna hålla sig torr, men man vill att det skall vara smidigt, praktiskt och utseende skall passa in i den miljön man befinner sig i. Jag ser möjligheter att kunna göra det bättre. Att skapa en bättre regnig upplevelse. Det finns många regnplagg på marknaden, för olika tillfällen, tekniska för friluftslivet eller designade för stadslivet. Jag har tagit fram regnkläder som är både stiliga och med praktiska funktioner för stadslivet. Plagg för de tillfällen då det regnar och för de som inte blev av. Genomtänkta lösningar för enkelhet och bekvämlighet. Målet är att göra det lite enklare att välja en mer hållbar livstil även vid sämre väderlek. Parkera bilen, gå eller cykla för din hälsa och miljön. Problemet att man blir blöt är inte att det regnar utan man inte har på sig regnskydd. Regnbyxor tycker man är krångliga att ta på och av sig. I regnplagg blir man varm och svettig och man upplever att det är besvärligt att ta med sig. Det gör att man chansar att man inte blir så blöt eller att regnet håller upp. Många gånger så glömmer man regnplagget hemma och når sitt mål med blöta, kalla byxor. Mina lösningar är så enkla att ta med sig, att du inte ens funderar på att chansa. Och gentemot dagens regnplagg minskar de risken för att du skall bli för varm. De är enkla att ta på och av och de finns där när du behöver dem. Produkterna jag utvecklar är för både när du promenerar eller cyklar allt för att hjälpa dig att hålla dig torr och glad. Jag har utvecklat tre olika plagg och låtit sy upp funktionsprotoyper som jag har verifierat. Varav enbart en modell har jag valt att gå vidare med för tillfället, p.g.a av kostnad och tid. Nyfikenheten i att starta eget har alltid funnits i bakhuvudet på mig. En utmaning där drivkraften är att få arbeta med sina egna visioner och mål.
 Flexibilitet med arbetstider och lokalisering lokalisering med att driva ett eget internet baserat företag ser jag som en väldigt bra fördel. En flytt tillbaka hem till Halmstad och nya förutsättningar gjorde att jag vågade satsa. Jag hade olika produktideér som jag funderade på. Att jag valde just regnplagg var mer en tillfällighet, men ändå inte! Gång- och cykelbanorna i Halmstad ger en bra framkomlighet för cyklister och fotgängare. Det är viktigt för mig att kunna minska min miljöpåverkan. Bilen fick stå - även vid sämre väderlek. Istället blev det med cykel eller till fots fram och tillbaka till olika aktiviter och dagis. På många sätt en skön känsla. Frisk luft, vardagsmotion, minskad miljöpåverkan och mindre kostnad för bränsle till bilen. När det regnar kan det ta emot och kännas lite besvärligt att bege sig ut. Jag möter ofta blöta människor som blivit överraskade av regnet. Jag vill minska detta hinder och göra det mindre besvärligt. Min önskan är att utveckla nya produkter med nära samarbete med användarna för att nå bästa resultat och att hela tiden utmana affärsidén för att skapa möjligheter att bli mer och mer miljövänligare. //Malin

ValueChecker technology enables fast and accurate determination of the fair claim values of damaged products, their replacement alternatives and where those replacements can be bought today. We level the playing field to ensure the fairest outcome for both the insurer and their customers. The current method of claims evaluation is both labor intensive and arbitrary, resulting in a random and sometimes unfair damage compensation value to the customer. ValueChecker today helps numerous Insurers in Europe and beyond to deliver better service and save 20% on damage compensation and operations.

Celxius

Celxius is building a set of SaaS tools and a marketplace for the Cleantech industry that helps providers bring green energy to more homes faster . Celxius was founded late 2020, by Agustinus Wigeberg and Johan Lind. Agustinus, had after seven years in Cleantech, seen that the installations sector was far from as efficient as it needs to be. As an experienced developer, he knew he could do something to fix it. At the Antler VC accelerator program, he met Johan, an ex corporate executive who had shed his business suit and was longing to build a company that could have a real positive impact. Together, they decided to help reduce carbon dependency by accelerating the renewable energy market. At Celxius, we believe our future on this planet in jeopardy. Some 20 % of greenhouse gas emissions come from the heating and electricity of homes. Transitioning homes around the world to renewable energy needs to be smooth and efficient. Biosphere VR

Our goal at Fox Documentaries is to bring the impacts of climate change closer to those who see it as a distant problem. We take viewers around the world and show them first hand how climate change is already bringing devastating challenges for the worlds most vulnerable communities. Fox Media Documentaries is a forward-thinking and pioneering Danish Documentary company based in central Copenhagen (Christianshavn). We work on developing artistic VR documentaries that have both an emotive and educational impact on audiences. Our newest venture, Biosphere VR ( www.biospherevr.com ), consists of five different cinematic VR-experiences that connect spectators with the climate change crisis through immersive technology. Each of the five experiences is seen through the eyes of a particular local individual (narrator) in Beijing, Jordan, Ethiopia, Kiribati and Morocco. Simultaneously, the five VR-experiences effectively tap into the fundamental consequences of global warming and provide clear and engaging educational content. These experiences have already received a significant commendation at many highly acclaimed international film festivals including VR Days, COP: DOX and Cinequest Film and VR. In addition, Biosphere’s five individual VR experiences have so far been tested in two different educational institutions: Maglegaard School in Denmark, and Learning Lab at Tsinghua University in Beijing (China). Both tests have produced impressive results, with all spectators reporting an increased motivation for learning following their engagement with Biosphere VR. In the middle of summer last year (2020) Richard and Lukas had a conversation about how the Swedish youth was so engaged in the Hypebeast culture and how unreasonably expensive it was. That was when this idea was created and throughout the past year it has evolved into something far greater than just a price comparison website for expensive clothing, SaleAid was born. SaleAid aims to create a new kind of price comparison website, which targets on finding the best discounted prices for the user. With a more user friendly platform that offers the user a broader variety of functions when searching for the best price on their product. In the current global market more and more shopping is being done online. During the current pandemic the amount of people choosing to shop from home has increased immensely. With countless stores available at the tip of your fingers, people tend to be more cost conscious. Since they can easily compare prices on the same product sold at different online stores. We all know price comparison websites already exist to help customers find the best prices. However, we have found that there are many aspects of the online shopping needs that are not met by the current price comparison websites. Most of the existing websites provide the customer with the best retail price. With SaleAid we want to change how price comparison websites operate. Our goal is to build a modern customer oriented website with one main focus, finding the best sales for the customers desired product. Ultimately resulting in the best possible price, hence discounted prices are almost always lower than the best retail price. By creating an account on SaleAid, the customer will be offered a price monitoring function which means the customer will not personally have to monitor the prices regularly. Instead the user is supplied with a notification when their desired product's price has changed. With or without an account all users will be able to see the price history of all products. If the user is in desperate need of a product, they can also choose to be shown the best offer in a physical store closest to them. In addition to the functions named above, SaleAid is also unique by providing the customer with a broader variety of retailers. We offer the user the ability to with just one click expand their search and find products on sale, not only domestically, but for example in the north or in Europe. Making international shopping the most affordable and accessible it has ever been. Apart from all the neat functions, we aim for SaleAid to be used differently than current PCWs. We do not want SaleAid to become just another PCW that users spend less than a minute on before moving on. We want to create a platform for users to browse and shop on, not just look up one specific product. We want to become the marketplace for the price conscious online shopper.
