GoSuomiPro

GoSuomiPro is an online Finnish language learning platform helping international students prepare for study, work, and life in Finland before they arrive. We solve the problem of students coming to Finland without enough Finnish skills, then struggling with tuition costs, employment, integration, and long-term opportunities. Our courses help learners build practical Finnish, prepare for the YKI language test, and understand Finnish society earlier. We started GoSuomiPro because language is the bridge to belonging, jobs, education, and independence. Our mission is to help motivated students arrive prepared, save costs, and build a real future in Finland.

Pelea

Pelea is the peer-to-peer prediction platform that makes watching sport more fun, and turns fan communities into thriving ecosystems. We let anyone become a "Game Creator." Influencers, Facebook group admins, sports bars, and fan clubs build Game Cards with simple football questions, invite their people, and run the action. No odds. No spreads. No jargon. Just react, play, and settle who actually knows their football. It is genuinely peer-to-peer. Players compete against each other, not the house. In private games you play among friends, and in public games you play against other people in the community. For Creators and Community leaders you get a turnkey solution to monetize the audience and create amazingly engaging content. We (currently) operate exclusively for residents of Denmark, require MitID verification, enforce an 18+ minimum age, and are committed to responsible play. Sport is better when everyone engages.

Cobrief is developing an AI-powered public procurement platform to help businesses across all industries find, evaluate, and win government tenders — replacing manual, time-consuming bid processes with intelligent automation that acts like having an extra colleague on the team. Public procurement represents over 800 billion NOK annually in Norway alone, yet the average government tender receives only around 3–5 bids. In nearly 20% of tenders, only one or zero suppliers submit a bid. The reason: tender data is scattered across closed platforms, the process is complex, and small businesses lack the resources to keep up. Suppliers can't find the opportunities, or give up because the process is too complicated. The result is less competition, worse deals for taxpayers, and lost revenue for businesses that could have won. Cobrief aggregates public tenders from procurement databases across Scandinavia, Finland, and Germany — including Doffin, TED, Udbud, and Hilma — into a single searchable platform. AI-powered matching scores every opportunity against each company's profile, sending relevant alerts via email, Slack, or Teams. When a team decides to bid, an AI writing module drafts proposal responses from a knowledge base of past submissions. Automated price sheet filling pulls from product catalogs, and CV matching identifies the right personnel. A Bid Manager Agent provides autonomous support throughout the entire process — functioning as an AI colleague from evaluation to submission. Teams collaborate in shared workspaces with task boards, deadline calendars, and role-based access. Used by 1,500+ companies, with a free plan to get started. The founders experienced firsthand how broken the public procurement process is for suppliers. Tender data that should be freely and directly accessible by law is in practice locked behind commercial platforms, creating unnecessary barriers to competition. They saw that businesses — especially SMBs — were missing out on opportunities worth billions simply because the system was too opaque and complex. Cobrief was built to fix that: make public tenders accessible, understandable, and winnable for every business. Beyond the product, the team is actively advocating for open procurement data in Norway through anbudsdata.no, pushing for systemic change so that public tender data is truly open — not just in theory, but in practice.

Ode is building the world’s simplest solution for therapeutic music. We combine a smart speaker with a single-knob interface and AI-driven curation to reduce anxiety, agitation, and depression in people living with dementia. Founded after CEO Guttorm saw music’s impact through his grandmother’s dementia, Ode exists to remove the time, technology, and cost barriers that keep personalised music out of everyday care. Today, getting it right typically means specialist mapping, hours of playlist work, and daily device hassle, which caregivers and families can’t sustain. Ode makes it practical: curate in minutes, then play instantly with one knob—so the right music is there when it’s needed, without adding workload.

We are building a travel safety platform for individual travelers. Travel remains a strong driver of connection and understanding, but it now takes place in a more complex global environment. Geopolitical instability, climate-related events, health risks, and sudden local disruptions have become more frequent and less predictable. At the same time, international mobility remains high, and people continue to travel across borders for leisure, work, and personal reasons. Our research shows a clear gap between the desire to travel and the confidence to do so. In our survey work, a majority of respondents indicate that they would value a solution that combines timely safety warnings with practical, location-specific guidance. Market trends point in the same direction: travelers are increasingly attentive to safety and preparedness, while existing information sources remain fragmented, generic, or difficult to apply in real situations. Our purpose is to make travel safety clearer, more relevant, and easier to act on. We are developing a technology-based approach that brings together trusted international data, local context, and intelligent processing to support better decisions before and during travel. The focus is not on providing more information, but on providing the right information at the right time. The platform is structured around two core elements. The first is warnings and alerts when relevant incidents or changes occur. The second is a practical “411 guide” that provides contextual information about local conditions, norms, and considerations that matter for safety and confidence while traveling. Together, these elements form a consistent safety layer that follows the individual traveler, independent of destination. Technology and AI are essential to this approach. By aggregating multiple data sources and applying contextual filtering, we reduce noise and increase relevance. This allows complex and fast-changing situations to be translated into clear guidance that travelers can understand and use. We believe this represents a necessary evolution in travel technology. Safety is no longer a separate concern handled through static advice or manual checks. It needs to be integrated into the travel experience itself, in a way that supports mobility rather than restricting it. Our long-term ambition is to contribute to safer, more confident travel in a changing world. By improving access to relevant information and reducing uncertainty, we believe technology can help people continue to explore, connect, and engage across borders with greater awareness and responsibility. The Elevator Pitch GEIST is developing next-generation sailing apparel for recreational and lifestyle sailors who want protection and freedom on the water—without the bulk, stiffness, or elitist aesthetics of traditional sailing gear. By combining high-performance materials, real-world testing, and community-driven design, GEIST delivers technical sailing wear that enhances the experience instead of getting in the way. 2. The What: What are you solving? Sailing apparel today is largely designed for professional racers or extreme offshore conditions—resulting in garments that are heavy, rigid, over-engineered, and visually disconnected from how most people actually sail. This creates a gap for: - Recreational sailors - Lifestyle / adventure sailors - Coastal and day sailors who want reliable protection from wind, spray, and weather, but also comfort, mobility, and a modern aesthetic they enjoy wearing. As a result, many sailors compromise—either wearing gear that limits movement and comfort, or using outdoor apparel not built for marine conditions. This problem affects a broad and growing segment of sailors globally, especially as sailing increasingly overlaps with outdoor lifestyle, travel, and community-driven experiences. 3. How GEIST is solving it GEIST designs sailing apparel from the experience outward. We start by deeply understanding how our users move, layer, vent heat, and interact with their gear during real sailing scenarios—not idealized ones. From there, we: - Develop function-led designs focused on mobility, breathability, and smart protection - Use premium 3-layer performance fabrics and components chosen for durability, comfort, and sustainability - Prototype early and test continuously with sailors in real conditions - Co-create features, fit, and details with our community rather than designing in isolation Our first products—a sailing jacket and trousers—are built to be worn actively on the water and comfortably before and after, bridging performance and lifestyle without compromise. 4. Why GEIST exists GEIST started from lived frustration. As a sailor and outdoor enthusiast, I repeatedly experienced how traditional sailing gear interrupted the very thing it was supposed to support—the feeling of being present, capable, and free on the water. Gear was either too stiff, too bulky, too aggressive, or simply not designed for how most people sail today. I realized this wasn’t a niche problem—it was systemic. And it wasn’t being solved because the industry hadn’t truly shifted its perspective. GEIST exists to reimagine sailing apparel from the standpoint of experience, movement, and modern sailing culture. It’s about stripping away unnecessary complexity and designing gear that supports focus, confidence, and enjoyment—so when the wind hits, the world narrows, and the gear disappears.
