NOITCH

Are you ready for an itch free mosquito season? We present the easiest, quickest and healthiest way to remove an itching mosquito bite. We all know that frustrating and irritating feeling of an itch occurring after getting a mosquito bite. Even after using mosquito spray and other mosquito preventing products, you’ll still end up using the rest of the evening scratching your ankles like tomorrow never existed. Not only is the itching unbearable, but it will also result in many small wounds on your arms and legs, blood stains on your clothes and yet another summer where you feel less comfortable taking on a pair of shorts or a skirt. Some will try using different kinds of lotions and ointments, which work temporarily or not at all, and are filled with unhealthy chemicals. We know that every person has wished for an instant solution, which could remove this itching feeling from a mosquito bite. And that is what we have created. The NOITCH is a very simple device. The product is a heating pen in the form of a small cylinder which is easy to use and store when on the go. It works with just a push of a button and is able to remove the itching feeling within seconds with the use of controlled and heat treatment. Wave goodbye to swollen marks and scratched up legs. This product, NOITCH, is developed by the two young guys, Casper and Nicolai. The project started during the summer of 2020, when Nicolai came to Casper with an interesting idea. During mosquito seasons, he and his family had always used a “housewife trick” to get rid of the many mosquito bites. The trick was to heat up a metal spoon in boiling water and place it on the mosquito bite. After a little while the itching feeling was gone. Nicolai was then wondering how this trick works, why it isn’t more well-known and why there wasn’t a product on the market yet which could do just that. The heat treatment theory was afterwards confirmed to us by a doctor and professor from Aalborg University Hospital. We have together with a manufacturer from China created 2 functional prototypes, which we have tested on several people and by that proven the function of the product. REGULATING MODERN TECHNOLOGY We develop 'lifestyle systems’ and the market's first AI-integrated hybrid watch that is designed to counter information overload. Our technology interprets and disperses information to only notify of what is subjectively relevant and important to the user. Our mission is to eradicate the abuse of digital communication to create a socially sustainable cyber life. The market need is indicated by the fact that people receive an average of 64 notifications a day and only a fraction are relevant to the user. The ordinary functionality is static and delivers information regardless of the user's wishes and needs at any given moment, which impairs focus and causes stress. The notifications do not differ from one another regardless of severity and they are all based on sources instead of topics and people. We circumvent this inconvenience and offer a solution that ensures that the user never has to be distracted in vain. Our solution is aimed at high-performing, social, and fashion-conscious men and women mainly in the ages 30-50, who highly benefit from saving time, remaining focused, and reducing screen-time and stress in everyday life. THE FUTURE OF SMART PRODUCTS We solve the problem with a watch that works as a digital ‘gatekeeper’ against irrelevant information rather than an extension to the mobile phone like regular smartwatches. The dynamic functions are based on the user's hierarchical values and micro-activities, which together with AI filtering and machine learning enable customized technology and a completely new type of smart functionality. ★ STARTUP OF THE YEAR-FINALIST┃288 PRE-ORDERS IN 72 HOURS ★ The project has been developed for three years through a global network with competence from companies such as Fossil, Citizen, Hugo Boss, and Intel, and we have senior board members with experience managing 200MSEK-2BSEK companies. We develop our own app and watch movements with two years of smart battery life, and the development of the next generation has also begun which will be a body-heat-driven hybrid that enables life-long battery life. Studies&Me is a contract research organization (CRO) specializing in Dermatology studies. We are on a mission to turn clinical operations upside down to make it fit into the everyday life of the participant, and thereby democratize clinical studies and patients' access to new treatments. At the moment we have a focus on the participant recruitment process for clinical studies, but our goal is to become the leading CRO within virtual dermatology studies. Virtual studies are studies that are conducted remotely and comfortably in the study participants' own home, as opposed to traditional centralized studies, where participants on a regular basis must spend time and money on traveling to a study-affiliated clinic. We are a team of 10 people from all over the world and we are looking forward to bringing more to the family. Our office is located in Health Tech Hub Copenhagen close to Nørreport Station. On working days lunch is cooked and served by our in-house chef and kitchen personnel. We also often bring people together for many different social events such as Friday bars, book clubs, workout challenges and board games. Celora Studio is a start-up from Uppsala, Sweden, who designs, manufactures and sells sound-transparent speaker covers. So that you can show your personality, and design your home the way you like it. Soon we'll be launching Canvas – a speaker cover in a sound-transparent and eco-labelled fabric that allows you to change the color of Sonos One. Our next step is to create speaker covers for more Sonos products, and for other speaker ranges. Our vision is to make electronics something that adds beauty and personality to your home, rather than something you want to hide. And that you should never have to replace electronics just because you don’t like the look of it anymore. So how did we get here? First of all, we have a passion for entrepreneurship and wanted to build a company. A company with a sustainable business model, and where people can be happy and thrive. We also saw that small multi-room and smart speakers are becoming increasingly popular, but they mostly come in black, white and gray. Through qualitative studies we identified the need to change the look of these speakers, and realised it could be done through speaker covers. Since then we have also seen the need to personalise home electronics in general. We hope that being able to change the look of home electronics and applicances will increase their lifespan and reduce waste. This leads us to sustainability, which is an important aspect of what we do. We want to find ways that our business can contribute to the Agenda 2030 goals. Canvas for Sonos One is manufactured under fair working conditions in the EU, using fabric that’s certified according to EU-ecolabel and Indoor advantage gold. We also believe in diversity and fair working conditions at Celora Studio. We’re only two people in the team so far, but we’re diverse when it comes to age and ethnicity. We’re aware of our own biases, and strive to use unbiased and scientifically proven methods in everything from setting salaries to recruitment and promotions.

Peppelini Studios is a newly started children's clothing company that aims to produce high-quality apparel in the most ethically and environmentally friendly way possible. We want our brand to be synonyms with timeless design. We want to set a new standard when it comes to sustainability, quality, and the way parents consume children’s clothing. We are looking for people who feel as strongly as we do about changing the status quo. We know from our research that more parents want their children to own long-lasting, high-quality clothes with a cool and fun design. 
 Our first collection will consist of 3600 pieces and will be ready in February. Even though our first collection is relatively small, our goal is to establish Peppelini as the best slow fashion brand out there within a few years. 
 How we aim to become more sustainable: Peppelini aims never to have sales. We will produce clothes in our tempo and make sure we have zero waste. We also want to buy back all the clothes from our customers. When designing our clothes, we have in mind that at least four children should be able to wear the clothes before we need to recycle them. 
 Each organization and company involved in every step of the production process must live up to our expectations. Meaning they too must be totally transparent and carefully investigate their supply chains. The goal naturally is to get more companies and more people involved and take action. The fashion industry has to change, and it has to change now.  
 We are looking for people who feel as strongly as we do about changing the status quo. We believe there is a market for high-quality, sustainably made children's clothing. More parents like us must want their children to own clothes made to last, with a cool and fun design.  
 After a long intensive search for the right factory, we finally found a manufacturer we know is doing its best to produce clothes using fewer chemicals, use renewable energy, think circularly, and eliminate waste the best it can. 
 Our first step was to define sustainability for the company and our workers. What vision and goals are we working towards? Becoming more circular is one goal. To have every single worker live a better life (in every part of the production).  
 Moving away from cotton was a no-brainer. Most companies buy their cotton from factories without really knowing the development process, where it comes from, the conditions of the farmers, and its TRUE environmental effect on the planet. There is no fundamental understanding of the social and environmental impact. An accurate and transparent investigation must take place. Otherwise, the risk of falling victim to greenwashing is high.  Almost all companies are talking about sustainability. Unfortunately, most of it is greenwashing; companies are doing the bare minimum to receive certifications. If an Oeke or GOTS cotton certification is handed to a product, what does that mean? Is that certification enough for us customers to justify the product as sustainable? What does sustainable even mean? Don't we have to take the company behind the product into consideration? After consulting with many sustainability experts, we chose to go with Lyocell. Not only is Lyocell the most sustainable material out there, but it's also durable and incredibly soft and comfortable. A big part of the design is durability. No more wear and tear; throw the clothes out after only one child gets to wear the item. Peppelini garments are made with love, and we demand our customers to treat them with the respect they deserve. 
 Our daughter Pepp's favorite clothes are Lyocell clothes made in Utenos! We know the quality is super high. After many, many washes, those clothes are still as good as new.  We also wanted to find the most environmentally friendly transportation method and boxes to ship the clothes in.
