Herodesk is a fully remote tech startup based in Denmark. We have created a new customer service platform for small and mid-sized businesses and webshops. Our mission is to make customer service easy. It should be easy for our customers to use Herodesk, which in turn should make it easy for their customers to get the help they need. To achieve that, we've created a helpdesk and live-chat product that is simpler and cheaper than the alternatives. Our product was launched in September 2023. Now, a year later, we have close to 100 paying customers, with more being onboarded weekly. Our founder, Anders Eiler, has previously co-founded SpeedGaming and Meebox, and led the DanDomain E-commerce division (a >€10M rev. division). Based on those learnings, it was clear that a simple and affordable customer service platform was missing for small and mid-sized businesses. Foodture is an innovative food company developing plant-based, fermented products using locally sourced ingredients. Developing new plant-based products that consumers love, and that are competitive with industrially-produced meat, is a key element of the transition towards a green economy and a regenerative way of life. Foodture’s product is a version of tempeh made from locally-sourced legumes which are fermented and then prepared as blocks, cubes, patties or in a shredded version. The product is used currently mainly in food service applications, but there are many other possibilities. Several product development efforts are ongoing, including collaborations with Aarstiderne and Noma. There is a real sense of momentum in the category, with a high pace of innovation and competition. The environmental footprint of tempeh is very low compared to red and white meat, but also compared to most other meat alternatives on the market today.
