We have now published the first version of the website Devent for Agility. The idea is to have a website where you can find agility-related information in the form of a meeting overview (list or calendar), results, annual overviews, and statistics for dog/organizer/judge (graphs are best viewed on a PC or landline phone). You manage which dogs you want to see statistics for easily on "my page". The system also has modules for setting up and running your own events and supports e.g. 5 size classes if desired. Vesiro is an early-stage startup that is developing an add-on to Elasticsearch to enable much better search performance. The product is in part based on our novel, patented search algorithms. Initial tests on data from Common Crawl (which is the same data used to train ChatGPT) shows that we can cut search times in Elasticsearch by 30-50% depending on search type used. The increase in search speed means that our software enables a more efficient use of servers in Elastic clusters, helping our customers save money on servers. It also means that the software reduces server energy consumption as fewer servers are needed to do the same amount of search. Vesiro was one of 20 companies to be accepted among 2500 companies applying globally to participate in the Norrsken Accelerator 2023.
