UniHelper is an Ed-Tech service for higher education, that improves student well-being and reduces dropout rates through algorithms and automated group creation. The company is based on the 4 founders' personal experiences when studying. Here, we all had a group of co-students to study and socialize with, which was crucial for our time as a student. Sadly some of our co-students did not have a, and many of them were faced with the huge personal defeat of dropping out. Therefore, we encouraged the university management to divide all new students into study groups. But that task was too complex for them, so they asked us to come up with a solution. And we did. At UniHelper we have developed software that forms optimal study groups for several thousand students in the blink of an eye. This ensures that every single student becomes part of a study group from the first day of the study. And the universities can automate the entire group formation process, reduce loneliness and avoid students dropping out. The police are called up so that you have the option to talk to them should you deem it necessary. We also have a paid version of The app . This version includes a crime map that shows crimes that have recently been committed . this is extremely helpful for places you are visiting and has full coverage in the UK and most of the USA . The reason I am doing it Sitting at home one night, I received a call that changed everything. While working alone in London, my brother had been brutally attacked with a hammer. I was devastated and felt completely powerless. He was miles away in another country, what could I do to help? Nothing! Walking along the river, thinking about what had happened, I looked down at the water and suddenly it came to me. I knew what I had to do. I had to find something that would make everyone safer and help prevent these kinds of attacks from happening again. I realised I could use the one thing everybody carries with them, their phone, as a shield to protect them! This idea became the Guardians app.

Beyond the collaborations is the semi-permanent collection of NIKO JUNE studiowear and gear. (1) GOOD OBJECTS The ones you keep. Those that are made to keep. We are aware that for anyone to get there, to hold on, what matters is only partly the object itself. The defining factor is the attitude of the owner (ownership). But we get somewhere by proposing objects that demand attention for more than a minute. Not by glazing it white, nor pastel or by bending it to match your curves. Instead we wish for you to call us out as loud and opinionated. We are high maintenance. Classic forever. By testing we mean doing experiments on established notions of the designed. And to challenge the conditions of use that follows. Good objects are such that give power to an attitude that treats sustainability, not as science but as emotion. (2) FLEXIBLE Our body is flexible like the smell of patchouli. Meaning that our structure is non-static and open ended. Our identity is a moving thing that allows us to be spontaneous and reactive to sudden impulse or intriguing demands. Impulsivity applies to our process of making. Short production lead-time and fast thinking while aiming for an unhurried object feel and life. Soft legacy. (3) COLLABORATIONS Involving fine talent and expertise naturally help us exercise flexibility and sport us with longer, sleeker limbs to show off. The workshop acts as an international bank of professional, critical and creative exchange. This gives rise to perspectives and intentions or problems as well as solutions that we couldn’t have come up with alone. Also- we do it for the fun of it. This is giving all the way around. Collaborations will always be either limited edition or made by order.
