Solentro was founded by the Schildfat brothers, Hampus & Tobias. They appeared in the television series Dragon´s Den and created quite a stir as they turned down an investment of 200 000 Euros. Today Solentro is a global and profitable company. The web application is completely web based and free to use. We have developed a SaaS platform where images goes in, and 3D models comes out - with a specialization in urban environments such as buildings and blocks. Our customers are both in real estate and among drone operators. We believe 3D mapping alone will be a big business. We are true techies. We love tech. We get excited by algebra. The Spotscale team consists of engineers and developers with degrees in mathematics and computer science. Most of us work in Linköping where we meet once a week to share what we’re working on. A startup is a lot about balancing structure and chaos, and we need to adapt quickly. Within the team, we are respectful to each other, and we stay open-minded. Since we are a pretty small team, everyone is involved in everything, and every opinion is valued. All of us are very self-reliant and use each others strengths. We don’t care about titles at Spotscale, but about the skills and knowledge you have. If you don’t enjoy your days, you won’t excel at work, which is why we believe in a good work-life balance. Spending time with friends and family is crucial in between hard work to stay motivated and feel good. It’s not about how many hours you work, but what you do during those hours.
