Today a stoma bag is the only available solution for people with ileostomy. But living with a bag of stool attached to your stomach 24/7 comes with a lot of clinical complications and social stigma, decreasing quality of life for the many people living with an ileostomy. Studies&Me is a contract research organization (CRO) specializing in Dermatology studies. We are on a mission to turn clinical operations upside down to make it fit into the everyday life of the participant, and thereby democratize clinical studies and patients' access to new treatments. At the moment we have a focus on the participant recruitment process for clinical studies, but our goal is to become the leading CRO within virtual dermatology studies. Virtual studies are studies that are conducted remotely and comfortably in the study participants' own home, as opposed to traditional centralized studies, where participants on a regular basis must spend time and money on traveling to a study-affiliated clinic. We are a team of 10 people from all over the world and we are looking forward to bringing more to the family. Our office is located in Health Tech Hub Copenhagen close to Nørreport Station. On working days lunch is cooked and served by our in-house chef and kitchen personnel. We also often bring people together for many different social events such as Friday bars, book clubs, workout challenges and board games. LunaMicro AB is developing active moisture management technology for the next generation of smart textiles in clothing for sports, work and medtech. Our product is a textile that pumps water from the inside to the outside of the fabric with power from a small battery, allowing the user to stay warm, comfortable and safe. It also reduces the need for environmentally hazardous “forever plastics” like halogenated polymers or PFAS. Our technology is an innovation based on patented research from Linköping University.

We even offer personal feedback and guidance from our in house dog trainers, to help the user succeed. ElastiSense has developed a portfolio of unique sensor solutions for industrial applications helping its client in their digitalization journey. Assets unplanned downtime is one of the largest challenges across industrial segments causing, in average 1 million USD, revenue loss per incident. Over 80% of the customers experience unplanned downtime, and a similar number believes that digitalization is the tool to minimize this problem. Therefore 55% have or plan to invest in digitalization tools to enable predictive maintenance and better assets monitoring and control. Digital tools like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Digital Twins are designed to facilitate the above. However, they all need data from the assets which must be collected by sensors. Sensors and sensorization of assets are therefore the first part of customers digitalization journey. Available sensor solutions, especially displacement measuring sensors, are historically designed for well-controlled and clean environment like manufacturing industry. They inherent design therefore limits their use in aggressive applications. Therefore, the search for new displacement sensors have never been higher. We are the first who have developed and matured industrial displacement sensors primarily made of rubber material. These sensors can be mounted e.g. on a mining machine, or a bridge or tunnel, on a aggressive manufacturing machine and generate data and information about the moving parts of the machines which breaks most often and therefore in crucial need of monitoring. The founders of ElastiSense are all former employees of Danfoss and have been involved on magnitude of projects where they again and again could see the problem. The founder finally took the leap to start up ElastiSense when they received an enquiry from Grundfos on digitalizing their production line with this new technology. Since then the team have succeeded to introduce the product to multitude of markets verticals.
