GoSuomiPro

GoSuomiPro is an online Finnish language learning platform helping international students prepare for study, work, and life in Finland before they arrive. We solve the problem of students coming to Finland without enough Finnish skills, then struggling with tuition costs, employment, integration, and long-term opportunities. Our courses help learners build practical Finnish, prepare for the YKI language test, and understand Finnish society earlier. We started GoSuomiPro because language is the bridge to belonging, jobs, education, and independence. Our mission is to help motivated students arrive prepared, save costs, and build a real future in Finland.

BLS HAFNIA is a Copenhagen-based clothing brand established in 2011. The brand started as a minimalistic contemporary label with a focus on headwear. Since then, BLS HAFNIA has evolved into a complete clothing brand rooted in Scandinavian minimalism, utilitarianism, and Italian sportswear influences. Our goal has always been to create products with exceptional fit, comfort, and timeless appeal. Today, the BLS HAFNIA collection includes a full range of apparel, developed through seasonal collections, capsules, and collaborations with both Scandinavian and international brands. Our garments have been worn by influential figures across fashion, music, and sports, helping establish BLS HAFNIA as a recognized name within contemporary streetwear culture.

Nordic Waves Group

Nordic Waves Group is a Danish climate-tech and education startup building digital tools and learning experiences that help people better understand climate change, sustainability, and their own impact on the world around them. We believe one of the biggest barriers to climate action is not a lack of information, but a lack of understanding. Climate science is often complex, fragmented, and difficult to translate into everyday decisions. At the same time, traditional learning formats struggle to engage younger generations in meaningful ways. Our mission is to make climate literacy accessible, engaging, and actionable. We are currently focused on two core product areas: Greenhouse Calculator (GHC) – an AI-powered carbon footprint platform that helps users understand their emissions through intuitive calculations, personalized insights, and practical recommendations. The platform is designed to make climate impact understandable in minutes rather than hours. Educational Gaming Universe – a science-based learning platform that combines educational games, interactive experiences, and immersive technologies to teach climate and sustainability concepts. Rather than building games for entertainment alone, we are creating learning experiences with clear educational objectives, developed in collaboration with educators, game designers, developers, and climate scientists. What makes Nordic Waves unique is our interdisciplinary approach. Our team brings together professionals and volunteers from technology, climate science, education, game development, design, communications, and business development. We work closely with a Climate Scientist Board and a growing Teacher Community to ensure that our products are both scientifically credible and educationally relevant. Today, Nordic Waves is an international team of passionate contributors working across Europe and beyond. Together, we are building the tools, experiences, and learning ecosystems needed to strengthen climate literacy and empower informed decision-making in a rapidly changing world. Our long-term vision is to become a leading platform for climate learning, combining digital tools, educational content, and game-based experiences into one connected ecosystem that helps individuals, schools, organizations, and communities better understand and navigate sustainability challenges.

Cendo is a leading Danish AI voice company helping businesses in Denmark and Norway automate customer conversations with AI voice agents. We build voice AI for customer support, booking, and lead qualification, enabling companies to handle large call volumes with better availability and efficiency. Cendo was selected for the Innofounder programme by the Danish Innovation Fund.

Cobrief

Cobrief is developing an AI-powered public procurement platform to help businesses across all industries find, evaluate, and win government tenders — replacing manual, time-consuming bid processes with intelligent automation that acts like having an extra colleague on the team. Public procurement represents over 800 billion NOK annually in Norway alone, yet the average government tender receives only around 3–5 bids. In nearly 20% of tenders, only one or zero suppliers submit a bid. The reason: tender data is scattered across closed platforms, the process is complex, and small businesses lack the resources to keep up. Suppliers can't find the opportunities, or give up because the process is too complicated. The result is less competition, worse deals for taxpayers, and lost revenue for businesses that could have won. Cobrief aggregates public tenders from procurement databases across Scandinavia, Finland, and Germany — including Doffin, TED, Udbud, and Hilma — into a single searchable platform. AI-powered matching scores every opportunity against each company's profile, sending relevant alerts via email, Slack, or Teams. When a team decides to bid, an AI writing module drafts proposal responses from a knowledge base of past submissions. Automated price sheet filling pulls from product catalogs, and CV matching identifies the right personnel. A Bid Manager Agent provides autonomous support throughout the entire process — functioning as an AI colleague from evaluation to submission. Teams collaborate in shared workspaces with task boards, deadline calendars, and role-based access. Used by 1,500+ companies, with a free plan to get started. The founders experienced firsthand how broken the public procurement process is for suppliers. Tender data that should be freely and directly accessible by law is in practice locked behind commercial platforms, creating unnecessary barriers to competition. They saw that businesses — especially SMBs — were missing out on opportunities worth billions simply because the system was too opaque and complex. Cobrief was built to fix that: make public tenders accessible, understandable, and winnable for every business. We are building a travel safety platform for individual travelers. Travel remains a strong driver of connection and understanding, but it now takes place in a more complex global environment. Geopolitical instability, climate-related events, health risks, and sudden local disruptions have become more frequent and less predictable. At the same time, international mobility remains high, and people continue to travel across borders for leisure, work, and personal reasons. Our research shows a clear gap between the desire to travel and the confidence to do so. In our survey work, a majority of respondents indicate that they would value a solution that combines timely safety warnings with practical, location-specific guidance. Market trends point in the same direction: travelers are increasingly attentive to safety and preparedness, while existing information sources remain fragmented, generic, or difficult to apply in real situations. Our purpose is to make travel safety clearer, more relevant, and easier to act on. We are developing a technology-based approach that brings together trusted international data, local context, and intelligent processing to support better decisions before and during travel. The focus is not on providing more information, but on providing the right information at the right time. The platform is structured around two core elements. The first is warnings and alerts when relevant incidents or changes occur. The second is a practical “411 guide” that provides contextual information about local conditions, norms, and considerations that matter for safety and confidence while traveling. Together, these elements form a consistent safety layer that follows the individual traveler, independent of destination. Technology and AI are essential to this approach. By aggregating multiple data sources and applying contextual filtering, we reduce noise and increase relevance. This allows complex and fast-changing situations to be translated into clear guidance that travelers can understand and use. We believe this represents a necessary evolution in travel technology. Safety is no longer a separate concern handled through static advice or manual checks. It needs to be integrated into the travel experience itself, in a way that supports mobility rather than restricting it. Our long-term ambition is to contribute to safer, more confident travel in a changing world. By improving access to relevant information and reducing uncertainty, we believe technology can help people continue to explore, connect, and engage across borders with greater awareness and responsibility.
