Edulabs vision is to make every child in the world better at math. Therefore they created the math platform MatematikFessor.dk which is the biggest provider of digital math for primary schools in Denmark. Today 70% of the schools in Denmark uses EduLabs digital solution and over 75.000 students visits the site every day. More than 1 million questions are answered per day. In 2013 EduLab launched the norweagan edition MatteMestern.no to get closer to the goal of the vision, to make every child better at math.

Why: We understand the world best when it's explained visually.  Understanding today's world starts with understanding data. Globally, one in four people has some form of vision impairment that makes it difficult to understand the current communication formats. We believe in visual storytelling and are experts in this niche field. We have created many projects on different topics and have communicated them successfully with our audience. We have also built a community around visual data storytelling.

Solar installations create new opportunities for commercial and industrial building owners to save money and contribute to a cleaner environment. However, the size of a solar panel system can quickly be limited in size because of regulations where the cost of selling or managing surplus energy outweigh the benefits – unless the surplus is stored in batteries. Bryte uses proprietary flow battery technology to provide building owners with safe and affordable energy storage.

Time to Raise is a Nordic acceleration program for women-led startups with full focus on fundraising (today in partnership with Microsoft, SEB, Invest Stochkolm and WeWork). Women-led start-ups account for a very small portion of VC funding (0.7% to female-only teams and 7.3 to mixed teams in the Nordics). Despite this, investors are still eager to finance the best female-led endeavours, which is where Time to Raise comes in. We train startups to be pitch-perfect and we introduce their company profiles to investors.

We want to increase water safety on beaches by analyzing and customize safety solution with theLifeBoard®. With the LifeBoard® surfboardlooking design it is easier for civil beachgoers to use compared to the lifebuoy ring. The ring is not designed to be used for swimming rescues, but to be thrown from harbors, piers and boats. The lifebuoy ring is considered inefficient on flat beaches, where it is rarely used successfully. The aim with the LifeBoard® is to avoid civil rescuers from becoming a victim in the at- tempt of rescueing another and to decrease swimming-related fatal drownings by 50%. With the LifeBoard® civil rescuers can reach a distressed faster and safer. Safety to avoid a fatal drowning of the civil rescues and/or victims. Fast to save the victim before it is too late, since a drowning can happen in less than 60 sec and reducing the risk of permanent injuries and hospitalisation of near-drowning victims.
