At Gyded we use data analytics to help universities increase their retentions and create customised student experiences for students. Student drop offs is among the biggest challenges facing higher education today and has considerable implications both for schools and students alike. In our application, students self-report on their study experience and our algorithms guide them to a study plan suiting their ambitions and needs. The schools on the other hand, get a unique insight into their areas of improvement and how to most effectively address their key issues; may it be drop offs or an increased demand for student health services. Gyded is a part of a larger HR tech group consisting of several companies working within the recruitment and HR-tech industry. There are currently 12 companies, ranging from tailored tech-solutions to elite talent networks. All in all, we’re around 100 people contributing to making it easier for people to find their way forward.

Cortopia was founded in 2016, and launched its first VR-game, Wands, in August 2016. Wands was one of the world’s first VR games with PC quality on a mobile VR platform, and received the “Best VR Game” award from International Mobile Gaming Awards Global at GDC in San Francisco. Our product core is an automatic search engine which can produce a quotation of any car maintenance or repair job the vehicle manufacturer has described. JackFinder is a startup founded in 2017 and located in Maria 01 startup campus. We are currently two guy team and a bunch of advisors and investors supporting us. We both Akseli and Heikki are engineers (our soft spot is weird old cars) and a bit nerdy, but you don’t have to be. Also suited for building tailored products for corporates to strengthen their brands. People are looking their phone screens well over 200 per day!

We develop next generation of immersive audio games for the blind and visually impaired people. TAM, SAM, SOM = 20, 10 and 2 million people respectively. First launch next 31st January, GoldGun, for mobile iOS and Android. Two more games to be launch on summer 2019. Our own proprietary game engine IMAGE allows to implement games twice faster and cheaper than with traditional tools.
