UTRY

Imagine a world where the 'Size Chart', a relic of the 20th century, no longer exists. At UTRY, we are building a universal ecosystem for personalized digital fashion. Born at Aalborg University, our mission is to ensure the digital store adapts to the individual’s unique body, rather than forcing people to fit into static categories. We aren't just building a tool for brands; we are building an interactive, personalized experience for every shopper, where getting the perfect fit becomes the new global standard. We are tackling a massive, dual-sided problem. For the consumer, online shopping is a guessing game that leads to frustration and "fit-anxiety." For brands, this uncertainty results in 8,7 billion returned packages every year, where 53% of returns are due to poor fit. This cycle produces 24 million tons of CO2 annually, because costumers has to guess which size fits them. We saw this gap and realized that the industry doesn't need more complex 3D software; it needs a frictionless bridge between the buyer and the product. Our solution is built on smart synergy. Currently, we have launched our Virtual Try-On (VTO), which leverages generative AI to give shoppers a photorealistic view of garments on their own bodies. This provides the immediate visual confidence shoppers crave. Following closely behind is our Size Algorithm, designed to provide technical fit data to ensure the physical fit matches the visual one. By combining these into a single "UTRY ID," we are creating a cross-brand network where a user sets up their profile once and shops at every brand using UTRY with confidence. UTRY started because we did not fit into the standard size chart and had to order several sizes to find the correct size ourselves. As students at Aalborg University, we didn't just want to study the problem; we teamed up with a dedicated full-time crew to solve it. We are doing this because we believe that when you give consumers a personalized, engaging experience, the business value, higher conversions and lower returns, follows naturally. We are here to prove that what is best for the person is also what is best for the planet and the companies.

MAIAA ApS

maiaa is a curated marketplace for design-led meeting and event spaces, helping companies and teams find venues with character for meaningful, in-person gatherings. We combine carefully selected spaces with a thoughtful booking flow to replace generic, transactional venue sourcing with a more human, design-driven experience. The problem we’re solving: Finding inspiring spaces for meetings and small events is still fragmented and inefficient. Companies often rely on a mix of spreadsheets, emails, and generic listing platforms that prioritize volume over quality. The result is wasted time, inconsistent experiences, and venues that don’t reflect the purpose or culture of the gathering. This affects: • companies that value design, brand, and experience • venue owners with distinctive spaces who lack the right distribution and tools Despite a clear demand for better spaces, the market remains operationally outdated and aesthetically undifferentiated. How we solve it: maiaa brings structure, curation, and clarity to the process. We: • curate a limited selection of character-rich venues rather than listing everything • focus on storytelling, aesthetics, and context — not just capacity and price • provide a request-based booking flow that respects how venues actually operate • integrate experiences and add-ons to make gatherings more intentional and complete The platform is being built to balance design sensibility, operational realism, and scalable technology — with a strong focus on usability for both guests and hosts. Why we started: maiaa grew out of firsthand experience. As a founder, operator, and boutique hospitality owner, I’ve spent years working with spaces, guests, and teams — and repeatedly experienced how broken and uninspiring venue sourcing can be, especially for gatherings that actually matter. The motivation behind maiaa is simple: to create a better alternative for people who care about where they meet, how they gather, and the experience they create together. This is not about building another marketplace — it’s about raising the standard for how physical spaces are discovered and used.

Qfix AB

Qfix offer a digital platform that seamlessly integrate the local tailors with e-tailers, advertising platforms and logistics providers, which have an enormous potential to enable circular business models while creating efficiency in the entire process. The textile industry is one of the most resource-intensive sectors globally and accounts for approximately 10 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions. EU has identified textiles as one of the seven key product value chains that require increased circularity. Circular business models for clothing, such as secondhand sales, rental models, repair of worn garments, repair of reclaimed products, adjustments for better fit have been shown to significantly reduce environmental impact. The aims is to make the local tailors the hub of the circular transition by making existing repair services more accessible.

odagroup.

odagroup is a Danish health-tech company developing AI-driven software for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. The company builds both enterprise platforms for pharmaceutical organizations and regulated Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) used in clinical and real-world healthcare settings. odagroup is experiencing rapid growth with Periscope, an AI-powered frontline intelligence platform adopted by pharmaceutical field teams. Periscope sits on top of existing CRM systems and connects field sales, managers, MSLs, and medical affairs in a unified suite. The platform supports call preparation, hands-free voice debriefs, next-best-action recommendations, engagement tracking, sentiment analysis, trend monitoring, coaching insights, and market intelligence, enabling more structured data capture and improved decision-making across commercial and medical functions. Solid IO is developing a test that shows in advance whether immuno-oncology (IO) drugs will work for each cancer patient, helping doctors avoid trial-and-error and giving more patients access to these promising medicines. IO drugs are transforming cancer care, but they don’t work for everyone. Today, most patients tat receive these treatments don't benefit. Valuable time and resources are lost, and side effects and emotional stress can be heavy. This problem touches millions of people worldwide, frustrates doctors, and slows down the development of new IO drugs. Our solution is a test that mimics a patient’s cancer and immune system outside the body. With it, doctors and researchers can see how that patient reacts to IO medicines before starting treatment. This means patients get a more effective plan right away, and pharma and biotech companies can design smarter, faster trials for new IO drugs and combinations. We started Solid IO because we believe cancer patients deserve more than guesswork. In our work we saw how life-changing IO medicines can be, but also how devastating it is when they fail. That inspired us to create a way to bring more certainty, speed, and hope into cancer care.
