Innovationen er en del af vores DNA; vi var de første til at gå online, vi er de første til aktivt at bruge de sociale medier i annonceringen for kunderne og nu går vi forrest med et nyt produkt, som skal hjælpe vores kunder til at tiltrække bedre kandidater. Vi har udviklet Ofir ansøgersite, som skaffer virksomheder op til 25% flere ansøgere end ved et traditionelt jobopslag. Et ansøgersite samler hele processen med at finde den rette kandidat til din ledige stilling i ét system – nemt og effektivt. Og så målretter vi annonceringen, så jobbet når ud til de rigtige profiler. Med knap 30 medarbejdere samlet på kontoret i Søborg er der altid liv og glade dage og måske også en planke-udfordring. Vi skal jo opveje lidt for al kagen – og den gode kantinemad. Vi er 'Great Place To Wor' certificeret i 2019 - og det er vi rigtig stolte af! Men, vi hjælper ikke bare virksomheder med at finde guld – vi samler også selv på det. Vores guld består af knap 30 dygtige, engagerede og unikke ’guldklumper’ fordelt på Sales, Customer Success, Software Development og Product Development. Størsteparten af os har arbejdsplads i Søborg, hvor North Media har hovedkontor, mens et mindre team arbejder i Jylland, hvor de servicerer vores jyske kunder.

The PERE narrative We set out to fix a fairness problem that’s plagued the hospitality industry for as long as most can remember. And if we don’t fix it - right now - it might very well result in the complete erosion of how we think about the hospitality business today. Have we got your attention? Great! Let’s start with restaurants, who still reward local businesses for referring guests in ways that are beyond outdated. Offering things like free drinks, meals and under-the-table cash payments are not only unsustainable, they’re eschewed by those receiving them and largely frowned upon by regulatory bodies. What restaurants need is a more effective and modern way to get butts in seats and reward loyal referrers. And reliable, personal referrals from higher-spending guests have never been in greater demand for the beleaguered restaurant industry. Even before the pandemic, food delivery was slowly upending restaurants by forcing them to pay absurdly high commissions for customers on what are already razor thin margins. Even more, restaurants are now pressured to change their businesses to serve take-away and delivery customers instead of the more profitable (and real) dine-in customers, which is why almost all chefs and restaurateurs got into the business to begin with. At the same time, hotels - responsible for sending restaurants a steady flow of personal referrals - are forced to fork out big bucks just to get guests to their properties, much of that going to online travel agencies who charge up to 30% commissions for referrals. With profits shrinking, you’d think that hotels could simply recover those earnings when they refer their guests to nearby businesses. If they’re paying when they receive a guest referral, shouldn’t they be paid when they make a guest referral? That seems fair. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. That’s because today, the hospitality referral model is a broken, one-way street with no quick and easy way for people to profit when they make a personal referral. That includes especially hotel concierges, whose entire existence is founded on the ability to provide quality referrals. Feeling increasingly overlooked, undervalued and under appreciated in a digital world, they’re eager for an easier and better way to re-stake their claim and profit from sending guests to local businesses. That’s why we think it’s time for a change - a new and more fair way to do business in the hospitality industry. What’s long been accepted as a one-way street for paying for referrals needs to be expanded into a multilane highway where everyone can profit from personal referrals. iMAL

iMAL er en digital lese- og skrivebok som bygger på kunnskap om hvordan hjernen lærer. Noen barn strever med å huske bokstavene til både lesing og skriving, men gjennom nettbaserte kurs og online veiledning kan lærere og foreldre lære hvordan de kan hjelpe barn med å lære bokstavene enklere. iMAL har høstet mye positiv omtale, og våren 2017 kom resultatet fra en studie fra NTNU som viste at alle barn lærer bedre med iMAL.

Easypiece

Etter flere år med skitrening, skirenn og skoleturer, ble vi rimelig lei av skiutstyret som skulle pakkes og bæres med til disse aktivitetene! Kaos i bagasjerom og skiboks!  En sekk til skisko, matpakke/drikke og bytteklær,  og finne reimer for å stramme rundt skiutstyret,  slik at de enkelt kunne bære dem selv. Som regel 2 reimer når de dro på tur,  og 1 når de kom hjem! Nå har jeg jobbet aktivt med merkevaren Easypiece siden slutten av 2013 og har hatt god hjelp fra  produktutvikler og designer Kamilla Mårvik Derås, som jobber som grafisk designer og studerer grafisk design og art direction i Italia. Skibagene finnes i 4 forskjellige størrelser for barn i alderen  2-14 år. De er designet i mange  spreke motiv og kan enkelt bæres på ryggen som en ryggsekk. De har en bredde på 23cm, slik at det er plass til skisko, bytteklær og skiutstyr, og er enkel å rulle sammen og legge i skolesekken eller hyllen når den ikke er i bruk. I enden av bagen er det et håndtak som gjør at den kan henges opp for oppbevaring av utstyret  når vintersesongen er over. Skibagene vil bli lagt ut for salg på nettbutikken og hos utvalgte forhandlere vinteren 2016.
