BRØG

In BRØG we are developing a beautiful pour over coffee machine, where the user can control several variables in order to make their preferred cup of coffee. Our vision is to give the user the opportunity to brew the perfect cup of coffee while keeping the machine aesthetically beautiful. Besides that, we want to create an app where our customers can share, download and rate brews and thereby create a community similar to Vivino but for coffee lovers. Our customer segments consist primarily of coffee and design enthusiasts. The Scandinavian countries are the most coffee drinking nations worldwide, with a market potential of 800.000 sales - especially because black pour over coffee is the preferred brewing method. Furthermore, the design often matters a lot when Scandinavians buy new interior equipment and we plan on branding BRØG with that in focus. In order to brew a great cup of pour over coffee with the pour over method, you need to practice a lot to do it perfectly. This is where our machine comes into the picture. When using our machine, the user will be able to adjust all the crucial variables and thereby recreate their favorite cup of coffee every time. Besides that, our machine distributes the water correctly over the beans using our newly patented-pending water distributor. This will together with the right temperature, waterflow, bloom time and bloom water ensure a great cup of coffee. If the user is not an experienced barista or coffee connoisseur, they can use our app and in that find the coffee bean they are using (or a similar one) and see what settings other users have used and what the result was like. Anyone can therefore create a great cup of coffee with minimum effort or knowledge. All the components necessary to control these parameters require very little battery which, together with our battery pack, allows the user to brew a minimum of 100 cups of coffee before having to about recharging the machine. BRØG is portable and gives the user a lot of freedom which together with our design-protected design differentiates us from our competitors. The team consists of three Process and Innovation students from DTU. Our skills as a team cover the fundamental knowledge necessary to run a startup due to us having different qualities and interests. We have a great team spirit and know each other's strengths and weaknesses and help each other whenever the need arises. Two of us have been working on BRØG for the past one and a half years and are now going full time in our company, and the third partner just joined. Besides us, we have a strong team of advisors and mentors. Our advisory board consists of a business lawyer working with startups, a product developer, a business and market expert from CBS and an entrepreneur that we try to meet up with 6 times a year. Besides that, we have a mentor from a previous mentor program with years of experience as a designer within the same luxurious customer segment, who helps us create a beautiful and user-friendly product. This group of people have also helped us create a large network with contacts in all areas of expertise that we need to succeed.

Wild Distillery

Wild Distillery is raising the bar for Nordic Spirits production. The production is located on Bornholm and our gin/vodka is handmade under the observant eye of our Master Distiller. Our goal is to become the next big spirits brand out of Scandinavia and define a new chapter of spirits production. Our production is located on Bornholm but we have an office in CPH as well.

Verisure Watch is a corporate start-up bringing modern technology to the classic neighborhood watch community. Verisure Watch aims to become the data-driven for home- and house owners within safety and security. We are powered by the largest private security company in Europe, Verisure, and operate in arms-length from the regular business. We are piloting in Denmark but have global scope.

We have currently implemented GrantOne with more than 75 foundations ranging from small foundations to some of the biggest in Denmark.

byACRE was founded in Copenhagen, the heart of Scandinavian’s design hub, with a mission to break down the stigma related to reduced mobility and to help those it serves maintain an active lifestyle without compromise. We design mobility aids for a person, not a patient. Mobility is one of the core values in modern life. It’s also a top challenge facing older adults; and adults with disabilities that have impacted their mobility and lifestyle. The current market for assistive walking devices has failed to adequately support this community, with ageist messages and outdated models that denote feelings of dependence and fragility – an inaccurate representation of today’s thriving older adult community. Since 2017, our mindful designs have won some of the world’s most prestigious awards in design and innovation, including the 2019 RedDot Design Award, the 2017 IF Design Award and the Danish Design Award, the title “Most Innovative Startup” by FedEx Europe in 2022 and German Design Award 2024. “by ACRE” is our quality seal. International Headquarters

International headquarters has developed a 'One Stop Shop' for international working professionals to help them get settled in. We do this by offering a more holistic approach to relocation and global mobility. As an international working professional moving to Denmark, we face numerous obstacles which can only be solved by either speaking the language or understanding the culture. We help with both! We are currently a group 12 entrepreneurs collaborating together to create programs both pre and post relocation. We call ourselves Local Experts Helping Global Citizens. Rehappen is developing a lean and easy process to help large corporationsŽ leaders to solve the complex administration around sick leave and unhealthiness. Today managers have a stressful situation in handling the employees health and mental health. It is easy to miss what you need to do to help employees, and also to follow the responsibility you have as a manager when employees are sick or show signs of unhealthyness. The top management also have little clue what is happening at the first line level or at different units. Rehappen is a HR-tech product and service company that help managers become sustaible by organizing all employees sick leave data, administration around sick leave and also a help preventing and creating a sustainble corporate culture and leadership. By collecting ALL sickleave data into our tool which is a GDPR-secure platform HR and managers get a full insight in how the situations as an overview and also all the way to an individual. Rehappen has all documentation and processes gathered in the system, and that makes it easy to help individuals. Our tech team is working to get a nuged process where it is easy for managers to do the difficult work around sick leave and unhealth easy. We have 24/7 phonecall and the tool itself is so easy to work with so managers by them self knows thru reminding system what to do. All documentation needed is in the Rehappen-tool, rehab plans, link to insurance company, link to governmental rules and regulations around sick leave, the companiesŽpolicy, rehabilitationsplans, early dialouges for preventing unhealthy situations, questions, contact to occupational health specialists. What fired our spark was the unclear situation and difficulties for managers around people with special needs, with a high absence, mental unhealth that rehappen. After many years as HR-director and HR-manager and line managers we we that the process around sick leave is "broken". People are really getting hurt by managers who do not know what to do or how to start when their employees have a difficult situation. HR-directors have no clue how to get the detailed sick leave data out of the systems. So we created a system for managers, HR or Management team to find out where the pain is in the organisation. The reason why we do this is simply because there is a lot of lives to save, money to earn for companies and managers to improve there leadership by start working with a great system.
