Project Nord is an exciting art print start-up based in Copenhagen. The posters we produce are minimalist, Scandinavian-style designs on premium quality paper. We are a tight-knit team of creatives who all believe that beautiful art prints shouldn’t come at a high cost for the consumer or the planet. That’s why we plant a tree for every poster bought. At the end of 2013 there was few guys talking about what they would like to do because of the passion of tech and doing things right. About that idea a couple months later Restbyte was founded, we were working on few proof of concept ideas for some time but because of the funding we ended up working on consultancy business.  Anyway we decided keep the initial idea of working on interesting projects which we actually care about and wanted to offer likeminded people a place to work.

Quandify develops an intelligent water meter system for residential property owners that enables sub-metering cost-efficiently. The company’s platform uses machine learning to break down water usage data into outlets and diagnoses an entire homes water and hot water energy usage from a single, patented, non-invasive sensor. In our smartphone app, tenants then receive individually tailored nudges on how to efficiently lower usage, without sacrificing comfortability. The result is an up to 40 % decrease in water usage on average, and as a result, an energy usage reduction of 8 - 16 %, paving the way for a more sustainable and aware public and private residential real estate industry. Bryggen Research AS (BR) is a small consultancy and research company which develops solutions focusing on the interaction between people and technology through tangible “smart objects”. BR designs and creates purpose-targeted, physical devices, as well as supporting software systems, which collect data using a range of sensors and/or disseminate, analyze and visualize information. BR has a free consulting branch, where employees are free to consider and accept projects of their own choosing. Additionally, BR dedicates part of its resources for pure research purposes, annually publishing design notes and papers to conferences (NordiCHI 2014, NOKOBIT 2015, NordiCHI 2016) and collaborating with the local university in defining and supervising master theses related to its in-house products and research.
