SoCentral

SoCentral utvikler likeverdige partnerskap med kommuner, næringsliv og innbyggere som vil utvikle et mer bærekraftig samfunn. Vi ble startet av tre gründere i 2012, og er et ideelt aksjeselskap hvor alt av overskudd brukes til videreutvikling. I dag er vi en liten bedrift med 8 heltidsansatte og 2 deltidsansatte, men med et stort miljø og nettverk rundt oss. Vi driver en inkubator med over 200 medlemmer på Sentralen i Oslo, og utvikler og leder prosjekter og samarbeid for å nå bærekraftsmålene. SoCentral eksperimenterer med løsninger på viktige samfunnsutfordringer. Det er derfor uunngåelig at vi ikke alltid får til det vi ønsker. Det er ok. Det er faktisk helt nødvendig. For vi vet at vi lærer vel så mye av det som vi ikke får til, så lenge vi greier å dele åpent og spørre om hjelp når vi trenger det. Hos oss må du derfor være åpen for og villig til å dele halvferdige tanker og idéer fortløpende. SoCentral er kunnskapsdrevet og vi er avhengig av at ny kunnskap deles både internt og eksternt.

The PERE narrative We set out to fix a fairness problem that’s plagued the hospitality industry for as long as most can remember. And if we don’t fix it - right now - it might very well result in the complete erosion of how we think about the hospitality business today. Have we got your attention? Great! Let’s start with restaurants, who still reward local businesses for referring guests in ways that are beyond outdated. Offering things like free drinks, meals and under-the-table cash payments are not only unsustainable, they’re eschewed by those receiving them and largely frowned upon by regulatory bodies. What restaurants need is a more effective and modern way to get butts in seats and reward loyal referrers. And reliable, personal referrals from higher-spending guests have never been in greater demand for the beleaguered restaurant industry. Even more, restaurants are now pressured to change their businesses to serve take-away and delivery customers instead of the more profitable (and real) dine-in customers, which is why almost all chefs and restaurateurs got into the business to begin with. At the same time, hotels - responsible for sending restaurants a steady flow of personal referrals - are forced to fork out big bucks just to get guests to their properties, much of that going to online travel agencies who charge up to 30% commissions for referrals. With profits shrinking, you’d think that hotels could simply recover those earnings when they refer their guests to nearby businesses. If they’re paying when they receive a guest referral, shouldn’t they be paid when they make a guest referral? That seems fair. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. That’s because today, the hospitality referral model is a broken, one-way street with no quick and easy way for people to profit when they make a personal referral. That includes especially hotel concierges, whose entire existence is founded on the ability to provide quality referrals. This is achieved by creating ads for their spaces to this marketplace and features like calendar booking, payment engine, legal contracts, digital signing as well as financial reporting and customer support is included. This allows for companies or privates with need for storage to make simple and secure bookings for things like furniture, RVs, caravans, boats, construction materials etc. The company was founded in Sweden in november 2016, the BETA was released to the market in Oct 2017 and the commercial release in Oct 2018. Now some thousands of transactions are created and Storage365 will be targeting releases to the Nordics by the end of 2020.
