Collabmaker is a new web platform designed for matching complementary people together to start purpose-driven businesses. We do this by anonymously and automatically matching people based on their skills, experience and passions. Think of it as a bit like Tinder for people starting purpose/ impact-driven businesses. We believe the only way to reach the UN Sustainable Development Goals is by collaborating. We have launched an MVP and have people registered in 15 different countries.

Background The 2014 winter Olympics in Sochi is unfortunately known for a huge doping scandal, creating a debate on how to increase the secure chain of custody within in the anti-doping industry. Validicity AB was initiated by the Arne Ljungqvist Foundation to actively combat anti-doping in human sports, by developing a new hardware solution combined with a blockchain-based system creating a secure supply chain (https://www.arneljungqvist.com/). A team of experts was brought together with deep knowledge in their respective field in order to solve this challenge and develop the future chain of custody in anti-doping. The first market segment of the company is for doping control in human sports, followed by an equestrian sports segment. A third segment will be solutions addressing work-place testing operations. Expanding the system, Validicity can basically serve any vertical that needs a secure supply chain such as pharma, food, toxic waste and high-end goods. Since the company was founded in the beginning of February 2018, a first functional prototype has been developed, a European patent application has been filed and parts of the team attended the WADA conference initiating talks with potential customers and partners. Our software tool provides predicted properties of (bio) chemicals based on data-driven algorithms and quantum chemistry, which helps to reduce the number of experiments in R&D. Every (bio)chemical process or product needs physico-chemical properties (e.g. solubility, density) data to simulate unit operations and flowsheets of chemical manufacturing processes. Also, the formulation of products such as more sustainable solvents or more efficient materials need property calculations for designing these products. Scientists and engineers at biotech companies usually fail to develop and simulate new processes and products because: (I) the experimental data for specific molecules are not available, (II) no physical property models have been developed for the desired compounds which give satisfiable predictions, (III) measurements are too time- and material-consuming to perform. MQS has developed a software which provides novel property prediction models based on machine learning and quantum chemistry (Figure 1), in which the input from experiments can be reduced or is negligible.
