We are a Copenhagen based design studio working at the intersection of design, art, and technology. We create our own collections under Hamide brand,  offer design consultancy service, and create spin-off projects. We started our studio to honor our mother Hamide, who was a designer but never had the recognition she deserved, and passed away after a long battle with an atypical Parkinson's disease. So, Hamide Design Studio, is a serious matter for us, it is very personal yet we are very professional.  We are ambitious,  hardworking, and persistent. We love design profession for its power to change the world for the better. We have both intense days at work filled with creativity or just boring office work, and also light days as well. We know when to take a break and celebrate. Luckily our studio is located right next to Sønder Boulevard. We have some studio values and rules. Buildcode is an entrepreneurial eng. company specialized in developing systems for optimizing quality assurance in the construction industry. Our solution SiteMotionis based on day-to-day registrations done with drone and scanning technologies for recording and processing the data related to building informatics that enable to: - minimize errors and deficiencies on the construction site, - improve communication during the construction process,- enhance the overall quality of the building. We have a lot of fun! We work hard to learn and achieve and we face every problem with a solution. You will have the opportunity to get free coffee every day, and Buildcode will provide fresh fruit once a week. We go to lunch around 12:00 pm, you can bring your own food our eat for free at the canteen. We’re placed in two different groups: Our Technical Department and our Marketing/Sales and HR Department. But that’s only where we sit, we work crosswise all-day long.

The What: What are you solving? Sailing apparel today is largely designed for professional racers or extreme offshore conditions—resulting in garments that are heavy, rigid, over-engineered, and visually disconnected from how most people actually sail. This creates a gap for: - Recreational sailors - Lifestyle / adventure sailors - Coastal and day sailors who want reliable protection from wind, spray, and weather, but also comfort, mobility, and a modern aesthetic they enjoy wearing. Why GEIST exists GEIST started from lived frustration. As a sailor and outdoor enthusiast, I repeatedly experienced how traditional sailing gear interrupted the very thing it was supposed to support—the feeling of being present, capable, and free on the water. Gear was either too stiff, too bulky, too aggressive, or simply not designed for how most people sail today. I realized this wasn’t a niche problem—it was systemic. And it wasn’t being solved because the industry hadn’t truly shifted its perspective. GEIST exists to reimagine sailing apparel from the standpoint of experience, movement, and modern sailing culture.
