Game-changing technology for structural integrity monitoring. The Ferrx FEMM (Ferrx ElectroMagnetic Method) has been developed and tested for 2 decades, first by SINTEF and since 2005 by Ferrx. The method has provided unique features for the condition monitoring of steel structures. Material deterioration can be directly measured and early warning of risk for fatigue can be established long before any crack is detectable. Furthermore, the same sensors can also measure changes in metal loss, and thus provide for non-intrusive monitoring of internal corrosion and erosion in pipes. During the last years, instrumentation technology has been industrialized and the first commercial systems have been delivered and installed. Different types of instrumentation systems are available both for onshore and offshore/subsea applications. The industrialization, marinization, and production of the instrumentation systems are being done in cooperation with the most specialized suppliers. Ferrx is an independent company located in Trondheim, Norway with the business idea to provide the FEMM technology for different onshore and offshore markets to monitor the actual condition of steel structures and thus prevent loss of assets and pollution of the environment. The FEMM is protected by 2 patents and all rights are vested in Ferrx. The system for riser inspection has been qualified by DNV-GL in accordance with DNV-RP-A203 Technology Qualification.

Based in Kongsberg - the heart of the Subsea Valley - Kongsberg Ferrotech is utilizing world-leading competence to develop the first-ever automated solution, the Oktapous, for riser cleaning, NDT inspection, maintenance (coating), and structural repair (glass/carbon fiber reinforcement). The repair will be performed inside the patented Habitat - allowing for composite repairs subsea and in the splash zone while offering quality as if the repair was performed in a laboratory environment. The Oktapous will offer the client around 50% cost reduction, together with improved quality and significantly reduced HSE risk compare to existing solutions by removing the need for rope access, divers, and ROVs. Kongsberg Ferrotech is partly funded by the Malaysian-based oil and gas company, Petronas Charigali. This ensures us access to the market needs during development, an offshore platform for prototype testing, and the critical first client for market acceptance. Stolen er nem at flytte rundt på, fordi den er superlet og har en praktisk læderhank. Stolen bruges ved hæve-/sænkeborde, ved højborde, som designmøbel i hjemmet eller som ekstra stol i kontorers opholds- og møderum.  BeneSit er udviklet og produceret i Danmark af Peter og Caroline Kragh, som begge er uddannet inden for design og innovation.  Historien bag BeneSit er, at Peter havde rygsmerter og besluttede i samarbejde med Caroline at udvikle et designmøbel, som gør, at man retter ryggen og holder sig i bevægelse. BeneSit stolen fås i flere højder og farver, og organisationer kan få specialdesignede BeneSit stole.
