UTRY

Imagine a world where the 'Size Chart', a relic of the 20th century, no longer exists. At UTRY, we are building a universal ecosystem for personalized digital fashion. Born at Aalborg University, our mission is to ensure the digital store adapts to the individual’s unique body, rather than forcing people to fit into static categories. We aren't just building a tool for brands; we are building an interactive, personalized experience for every shopper, where getting the perfect fit becomes the new global standard. We are tackling a massive, dual-sided problem. For the consumer, online shopping is a guessing game that leads to frustration and "fit-anxiety." For brands, this uncertainty results in 8,7 billion returned packages every year, where 53% of returns are due to poor fit. This cycle produces 24 million tons of CO2 annually, because costumers has to guess which size fits them. We saw this gap and realized that the industry doesn't need more complex 3D software; it needs a frictionless bridge between the buyer and the product. Our solution is built on smart synergy. Currently, we have launched our Virtual Try-On (VTO), which leverages generative AI to give shoppers a photorealistic view of garments on their own bodies. This provides the immediate visual confidence shoppers crave. Following closely behind is our Size Algorithm, designed to provide technical fit data to ensure the physical fit matches the visual one. By combining these into a single "UTRY ID," we are creating a cross-brand network where a user sets up their profile once and shops at every brand using UTRY with confidence. UTRY started because we did not fit into the standard size chart and had to order several sizes to find the correct size ourselves. As students at Aalborg University, we didn't just want to study the problem; we teamed up with a dedicated full-time crew to solve it. We are doing this because we believe that when you give consumers a personalized, engaging experience, the business value, higher conversions and lower returns, follows naturally. We are here to prove that what is best for the person is also what is best for the planet and the companies.

MOOW

MOOW is an innovation house with a mission to decarbonize the built environment through fully sustainable and design-oriented building materials made from locally sourced willow. MOOW’s holistic understanding of sustainability includes natural carbon capture, biodiversity, circularity, and human health. Our long-term ambition is to redefine how buildings are constructed and experienced.

Leftovers

Leftovers is a peer-to-peer marketplace connecting home cooks with neighbours who want affordable, authentic, home-cooked meals, starting in Copenhagen. We all know how expensive eating out in Denmark can be. And cooking takes time and skill most people don't have. The result? Overpriced delivery, repetitive convenience food, inefficiency and waste. Meanwhile, thousands of skilled home cooks (food influencers, aspiring chefs, international residents cooking family recipes) have excess capacity and no easy way to monetise or share it. Leftovers closes that gap. Through the Leftovers app (live on iOS and Android), neighbours browse daily home-cooked meals from local cooks, order affordable portions (50–100 DKK), and collect locally. Cooks get flexible, high-margin income and a micro-brand for their cuisine. Customers get real food, at fair prices, with zero cooking required. All while building community and addressing waste. We've just launched a Kickstarter pilot in partnership with CBS Housing (Copenhagen Business School's student residences) and are actively securing further co-living and student housing partnerships to validate and grow the model. Denmark's regulatory environment for small-scale home food sales makes it feasible. I noticed the opportunity while living in a student dorm in Copenhagen last year, where I was constantly choosing between expensive takeaway and my own basic cooking, while talented students across the hallway were cooking incredible family recipes every day. We tried sharing food amongst ourselves, and it worked. Surveys across students, young professionals, and families confirmed the need. I've since come across many examples of successful local food sharing initiatives, but no platform that coordinates it. Leftovers isn't just a platform for sharing home-cooked meals. It unlocks idle kitchen capacity, empowers home cooks, makes food more affordable, improves access to authentic local produce, fights waste, and helps build local community. The long-term vision is city-by-city expansion across Denmark, Scandinavia and Europe, where local food regulations make sense. I'm now looking for a co-founder with a passion for community-building and marketing to help turn early traction into a movement. Equity on the table. GradeAid

The Problem: What problem are you attempting to solve, and how big is it? Children suffering from school refusal systematically fall out of the education system because traditional teaching methods fail to meet their individual learning needs. Today, 110,000 children have experienced school refusal—equivalent to one in five students. This target group becomes isolated at home during their school years, which later leads to difficulties in securing and maintaining employment, costing society 2.2 billion annually. Research shows that the most critical factor for these students is restoring their self-confidence regarding learning; they need to experience learning as a positive activity and process the traumas that led to their school refusal (The Back2School Modular Cognitive Behavioral Intervention, 2024). Therefore, before attempting to reintegrate students into the physical school environment, it is crucial to rebuild their confidence and bring them up to the academic level of their peers to reduce feelings of stigmatization. The Solution: What is your idea? Describe your product or service. GradeAid is an AI agent that creates personalized learning experiences. Students simply scan their homework or verbalize what they wish to learn. Our AI then generates tailored content derived from pedagogically validated materials, specifically designed for children who lack academic confidence or have fallen behind. The system continuously learns from the student's interactions and automatically adapts the curriculum. This helps restore the self-confidence and joy of learning that many of these students lack, while ensuring the process is both personalized and fun. The platform features a 24/7 AI tutor providing instant feedback. Through gamification, students earn coins for their virtual pets. This approach was selected because research has long established that gamification effectively builds confidence and helps children re-engage with learning (Impact of gamification on school engagement: a systematic review, 2024). Instead of forcing the child to fit the system, our technology adapts to the child's way of learning. Our intention is to build confidence so that children find it easier to return to school, equipped with the mental energy to focus on social reintegration. The platform supports both English and Danish. We are currently testing the Danish version.

AITSU is a startup that commercialises ultrasound guided intralymphatic Immunotherapy as a disruptive treatment for grass pollen allergy. To improve the quality of the injections, we want to build software that can identify lymph nodes and the needle in real time and guide the needle to the optimal site for the intralymphatic injection of medicine.

EV-Remarketing

At EV-Remarketing we’ve built a digital platform that transforms how used electric vehicles are bought and sold across Europe. We take the complexity out of selling an EV - from offer to payment to pickup - and replace it with speed, transparency and fairness. Last year we completed over 5,000 vehicle transactions with a 98% success rate, helping more than 25,000 sellers across Europe. Our tech stack handles everything: automatic data-extraction from documents using AI, integration with national vehicle databases, fraud detection, full digital workflows and logistics orchestration. We focus exclusively on electric vehicles, giving us deep domain expertise - which means we offer better value to sellers and turn-around times that beat traditional routes.

Vinduespudserskolen

På Vinduespudserskolen bygger vi et SAAS, der optimerer hverdagen for selvstændige vinduespudsere, som vil frem i trafikken, hvilket vores elever heldigvis vil. Kort om vores historie: Vinduespudserskolen startede i 2021 som et AMU-kursus og blev i midten af 2022 til en privat uddannelse, da flere elever efterspurgte undervisning i abonnementsdrift og virksomhedsdrift. Siden da har vi hjulpet mange elever med at skabe deres egne succesfulde abonnementsforretninger, og vi støtter dem dagligt med alt fra drift til forretningsudvikling – og nu også software. Selve undervisningen foregår på Frederikssundsvej 345, mens vores backoffice er placeret på Vestergade 16 i København. Vinduespudserskolen (uden SaaS-overbygning) rummer arbejdsplads til 4 medarbejdere. Selve SAAS-produktet er en overbygning på skolen og finansieres af skolen. Vi er et mindre, agilt team, startet på 1 fuldtidsudvikler, og nu byder vi velkommen til 4 remote-udviklere og dig, som sidder med teamet på Vestergade i KBH. I dag har vi givet adgang til 50 af de forretninger, vi selv har hjulpet med at bygge, som er i opstartsfasen, altså accounts med under 200 kunder. På vores venteliste har vi mange større firmaer, som vi selv har bygget fra bunden med eleverne. Vores elever er selvfølgelig det vigtigste for skolen, og vi skylder dem at implementere nye features hurtigere, end vi gør nu.

PayTjek is developing an AI-powered payroll verification platform that helps employees detect and resolve salary discrepancies through automated collective agreement analysis and intelligent error detection. Payroll errors are a widespread and costly problem, with billions lost each year because employees never uncover them. Payslips are often complex and difficult to understand without specialist knowledge of collective agreements and labor laws — expertise usually reserved for lawyers, union representatives, and HR professionals. This leaves everyday workers, from healthcare staff to teachers, at risk of losing money they are rightfully owed. PayTjek democratizes payroll expertise. Employees simply upload their payslip, and our AI analyzes salary data, cross-references it with relevant collective agreements, checks against work schedules and contracts, and flags discrepancies or missing payments. The results are delivered in clear, plain language, giving workers both understanding and actionable next steps. Our technology is built to interpret even the most complex Danish labor agreements, with a roadmap to expand across European markets. We are driven by a strong sense of fairness. Payroll verification has long been out of reach for the people who need it most. Without the right tools, employees have been left powerless in the face of errors. PayTjek exists to change that — to return knowledge, transparency, and financial control to workers, starting with healthcare employees in Denmark and expanding to empower workers across Europe.
