AdeoDC is a datacenter located in Albertslund, where we are trying to challenge the status quo within datacenter technology, and our competitors while keeping up with the leaps within technology for a price that is suited for startup environments. Our customers range from small companies that host their website on our shared environment to large customers that have several racks filled with their own server. We are currently expanding and need more “hands on deck”, to satisfy new customers need within the datacenter.

More than 4 million Swedes are "Picky Eaters", i.e. in the need of making informed food choices. PickyEating has developed an app to solve the everyday problem of choosing food. By entering a dietary profile and by scanning the barcode of a food item, the ingredient information is matched with the user's individual preferences. After proof-of-concept among our end-users, the start-up is now scaling up and are ready to adapt and develop the technology into a business-to-business solution for food retailers and producers. For this, we are no looking to expand our team and recruit a developer or a group of two-three sofware/app developers.

Sideflow is circular economy service, who is developing a service to help textile companies eliminate waste. We do it by building a platform that connects industrial sidestreams to potential utilizers. From all the material used in textile manufacturing in Finland, up to 30% ends up directly into waste, most commonly as cutting waste. Global research suggests that the amount can be even higher, up to 45% when also deadstock is included. We are creating a service and a platform that recognizes the material waste in an early phase and connects it to potential utilizers - companies that can use the rescued material in their products as it is, or after it is processed to new materials. Through our work in textile productions, we recognized the issue, and ran experiments and pilots to find solutions. In the pilots we have been able to eliminate waste by channeling the waste to new products. There lies undiscovered value in industrial sidestream, both for the economy and the ecosystem, and our mission is to recover that.

During the last few years we had been noticing that there is an increasing amount of youngsters on e.g. Facebook, who offer themselves for helping with small tasks such as lawn mowing and pet sitting. They are willing to show their credibility and work ethic to people and find their place at the society. Unfortunately, often the Facebook walls they post their offers are so filled with extra noise, that not many potential adults ever see them. At the same time, while working on different great companies, we have found out that mid-/senior level employees do not only have more than enough of work to do at the office, but also very often have a family and a house to be taken care of. They work from 9-5 at the office and after that they head straight to the home and start the, we like to call it "workday no. 2". They indeed are the heroes of work, but we started wondering, is there anyway we could help them to get more out of their spare times, so that they really can enjoy their lives. Not to mention, that we could clearly see ourselves on their shoes in a few decades. With these two problems in mind the idea started slowly to take shape into the form of a web platform, where these two huge groups of our population could solve each others problems with the help of our matchmaking efforts. At the same time they can act responsibly by sharing their mundane tasks from gardening to window cleaning for local youngsters, who can finally show that they can be trusted and that they are diligent, which could be huge to their future careers and also they get paid for that.
