Einka Økonomi' solution aims to prevent financial stress by providing knowledge, coaching and necessary tools to address the effect financial difficulties can have on life areas such as mental health, legal disputes and family economy planning. EINKA wants to be a completely neutral information channel, that employers can rely on to bring their employees closer to financial wellness. We are developing a knowledge hub that will help users in differing financial situations, building a tailor-made journey comprising of interactive financial tools, tutorials, strategy guides and virtual coaching with the purpose of achieving greater financial wellness for the user and increased productivity as a result - for the business. Our preliminary research has shown us that in the first quarter of 2019, the total amount of claims amounted to NOK 1 billion in Norwegian debt collection cases. In August of 2019, NAV stated that eight per cent of Norwegian employees had forced salary deductions. Personal economy subjects are not obligatory within the Norwegian schooling system, rather most people are educated on these topics via banks and other financial institutions, or often through following in their family's footsteps. This results in a knowledge gap and a hurdle for social mobility. As social entrepreneurs we have seen that nothing is being done to alleviate these problems in an effective way, so we have decided to take a stance, and commit to being the solution. Ambitious Africa is an initiative bringing African and Nordic youth together to take Africa to the next level. Working together providing high-quality education for future African educators and top-level business development support for local entrepreneurs. We are currently looking for people for all 54 African nations starting with Rwanda, Tunisia, Mozambique, Uganda, Gambia, and Ghana. Founded early summer 2020, acamp.com is a two-sided marketplace connecting RV Sites and private landowners with campers. We are the first Startup in Europe that let local landowner and small business tap into the huge, analog, and underserved market of RV sites. By digitalizing the market we create totally new opportunities for the entire industry. We are currently a small team of 16 very talented colleagues, diverse with 4 different nationalities and backgrounds from Apple, Spotify, and MIT students. All our work is in English, and majority of the team work from our HQ in Stockholm, but a few colleagues work remotely from other places in Sweden, Barcelona, US and the Philippines. We believe that empowering our employees makes our company stronger, and we therefore do a lot to make sure our team has the freedom they need to be and do the best they can. As we are a small team, where everything goes really fast in the startup environment, we need people to be independent and equipped to do what is needed. We therefore provide an overall centralised direction, but everyone here has a lot of autonomy and ownership over their own work. We work with flexible hours, where each team member can choose to work from home when they want, or from our pet friendly office in the heart of Stockholm close to "Sveavägen". During the last few years we had been noticing that there is an increasing amount of youngsters on e.g. Facebook, who offer themselves for helping with small tasks such as lawn mowing and pet sitting. They are willing to show their credibility and work ethic to people and find their place at the society. Unfortunately, often the Facebook walls they post their offers are so filled with extra noise, that not many potential adults ever see them. At the same time, while working on different great companies, we have found out that mid-/senior level employees do not only have more than enough of work to do at the office, but also very often have a family and a house to be taken care of. They work from 9-5 at the office and after that they head straight to the home and start the, we like to call it "workday no. 2". They indeed are the heroes of work, but we started wondering, is there anyway we could help them to get more out of their spare times, so that they really can enjoy their lives. Not to mention, that we could clearly see ourselves on their shoes in a few decades. With these two problems in mind the idea started slowly to take shape into the form of a web platform, where these two huge groups of our population could solve each others problems with the help of our matchmaking efforts. Adults with two workdays can buy the most important asset there is for their lives, they can buy valuable time with their loved ones. At the same time they can act responsibly by sharing their mundane tasks from gardening to window cleaning for local youngsters, who can finally show that they can be trusted and that they are diligent, which could be huge to their future careers and also they get paid for that. After the COVID-19 pandemic started taking over the world, we eventually came into the conclusion that this is our time to help people to get jobs and the economy to grow in a new way. We started quickly constructing the platform and now we have finally launched the first public MVP. We believe the working life is going towards a disruption, where peer-to-peer hiring will be a thing that enables people to solve each others problems. And that is what TaskShare is designed for.
