This is a Copenhagen branch of 180 Degrees Consulting, the world's largest student-led consultancy for non-profits and social enterprises. The management board consists of student volunteers who dedicate their free time to organise and lead for sustainable impact. 180 Degrees provides socially conscious organisations around the world with high quality and extremely affordable consulting services. We work with organisations to develop innovative, practical and sustainable solutions to whatever challenges they might be facing. Each semester, we have a carefully selected team of 30 highly motivated and engaged university students who possess a combination of expertise, creativity and problem-solving ability.

Just living on earth these last couple of years has been exhausting and guess what, spending 100 hours just trying to find something to watch is not really what we are in the mood for at the end of yet another day in covid/war/climate crisis-times or any time for that matter. Streaming platforms are undeserving their users' need for a fast and uncomplicated path to discovery. Disney+, Apple TV+, NBC Universal’s Peacock, Warner Media’s HBO Max were all launched between November 2019 and May 2020, paving the way for what media calls the ‘Streaming War’. Needless to say the competition has become tougher over the last couple of years. In order to attract new users the content on each respective platform doesn’t seem to be the main trigger for people anymore, but rather the platform's algorithmic technology. Meaning how the content is organised, how accessible it is and the way it is presented on the platform. These algorithms are also called a ‘sociotechnical process’ by scientists and have over the last decade emerged as a crucial part of shaping our culture and personal taste through complex relationships between human and non-human players. We spend hours of our lives scrolling through these different platforms trying to find something we’d like to watch. Research suggests we spend 100 hours per year for an average user to be exact, only on Netflix. That's a total of over 21 billion hours per year. 21 billion hours in turn is 2,4 million years. Our first app is in the works and will help users figure out their own taste as well as recommend things to watch based on their own preferences, without overwhelming them in a sea of options. So, will the future of streaming require us to scroll and jump in between platforms in the same way as we do today? Not if we get to decide! We believe in a scroll-free world and Hint will provide not just one way to deal with this but many.

Micro EM systems ensure reduction to extremely low size maintaining the performances of previous bulky products. Kvasir is solving one of the most difficult problems in the world; how to replace fossil fuels in the heavy transportation industries. Kvasir has developed and patented a unique process to convert ligno-cellulosic plant biomass (straw, wood, bagasse etc. ) to marine fuel in a simple one step process. The process involves cooking biomass in an alcohol atmosphere under pressure, effectively liquefying the biomass. Were developing our technology in our in-house lab and workshop facilities in Soeborg and are also collaborating with universities in both Denmark and abroad.

WEIQ is one of the leaders for food & beverage orders in Sweden with over 350,000 users and 250+ restaurants but is also a company in scale-up mode with a lot of pots on the stove. We are a legal tech start-up that helps professionals solve legal issues through visual analysis. Imagine a whiteboard that can solve legal issues. To elaborate on this, we have created a SaaS tool where legal professionals can collaborate, analyze, and draft legal reports. Currently, we provide four different services within our three pillars of value: 1) Easy access to data 2) Automated assistance (red-flagging) 3) Document Automation We a solving a growing demand within the legal sector to work more effectively. Clients are pushing for capped or fixed fees, which has lead the industry to look for smart ways to work more efficiently. Further, the legal sector has a quite low technology adoption rate. We want to help the industry work more efficiently through a great and intuitive UX and through genuine value creation. Our end goal and mission is to go beyond the value creation for lawyers and accountants and also create real value for small and medium-sized businesses. This we aim to accomplish through an AI Lawyer. However, there is probably a really long time before this is a reality. The AI lawyer should work on top of the existing platform that we already have created and the red-flagging functionality build into the system. We have built an algorithm for finding and recognizing patterns on the "whiteboard". Thus, if we through NLP and deep learning are able to create graph data structures through text analysis, we can generate red flags from legal texts. This is our goal: helping advisers and clients with software created with a strong industry insight.

Investorerne følger virksomhedens udvikling tæt og har bl.a. bistået under Covid-19 krisen. Virksomheden er nu for alvor klar til at skalere op og udvide internationalt.
