BoldBooks has a new business model that is more fair to the content/value creators in this industry. With a two-sided digital platform we connects authors directly with freelancers/services, skipping the publishing house and empowering the authors. We have over 3000 users in Norway and Germany.

APOD AB

APOD AB is in the business of providing technology solutions to communities, emergency management, and security services based around our mobile software, platforms, and hardware products. Our main product is GrydTec a bluetooth-based digital triage and tracking platform that combines our proprietary beacon hardware and software for use by emergency management, security, and healthcare teams around the world. GrydTec is available on most mobile devices and can be integrated into pre-existing command center software using our API suite. A key feature is GrydTec’s offline capability meaning our solution works even without data, wi-fi, or GPS connection.

Innovationen er en del af vores DNA; vi var de første til at gå online, vi er de første til aktivt at bruge de sociale medier i annonceringen for kunderne og nu går vi forrest med et nyt produkt, som skal hjælpe vores kunder til at tiltrække bedre kandidater. Vi har udviklet Ofir ansøgersite, som skaffer virksomheder op til 25% flere ansøgere end ved et traditionelt jobopslag. Et ansøgersite samler hele processen med at finde den rette kandidat til din ledige stilling i ét system – nemt og effektivt. Og så målretter vi annonceringen, så jobbet når ud til de rigtige profiler. Med knap 30 medarbejdere samlet på kontoret i Søborg er der altid liv og glade dage og måske også en planke-udfordring. Vi skal jo opveje lidt for al kagen – og den gode kantinemad. Vi er 'Great Place To Wor' certificeret i 2019 - og det er vi rigtig stolte af! Men, vi hjælper ikke bare virksomheder med at finde guld – vi samler også selv på det. Vores guld består af knap 30 dygtige, engagerede og unikke ’guldklumper’ fordelt på Sales, Customer Success, Software Development og Product Development. Størsteparten af os har arbejdsplads i Søborg, hvor North Media har hovedkontor, mens et mindre team arbejder i Jylland, hvor de servicerer vores jyske kunder.

The PERE narrative We set out to fix a fairness problem that’s plagued the hospitality industry for as long as most can remember. And if we don’t fix it - right now - it might very well result in the complete erosion of how we think about the hospitality business today. Have we got your attention? Great! Let’s start with restaurants, who still reward local businesses for referring guests in ways that are beyond outdated. Offering things like free drinks, meals and under-the-table cash payments are not only unsustainable, they’re eschewed by those receiving them and largely frowned upon by regulatory bodies. What restaurants need is a more effective and modern way to get butts in seats and reward loyal referrers. And reliable, personal referrals from higher-spending guests have never been in greater demand for the beleaguered restaurant industry. Even before the pandemic, food delivery was slowly upending restaurants by forcing them to pay absurdly high commissions for customers on what are already razor thin margins. Even more, restaurants are now pressured to change their businesses to serve take-away and delivery customers instead of the more profitable (and real) dine-in customers, which is why almost all chefs and restaurateurs got into the business to begin with. At the same time, hotels - responsible for sending restaurants a steady flow of personal referrals - are forced to fork out big bucks just to get guests to their properties, much of that going to online travel agencies who charge up to 30% commissions for referrals. With profits shrinking, you’d think that hotels could simply recover those earnings when they refer their guests to nearby businesses. If they’re paying when they receive a guest referral, shouldn’t they be paid when they make a guest referral? That seems fair. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. That’s because today, the hospitality referral model is a broken, one-way street with no quick and easy way for people to profit when they make a personal referral. That includes especially hotel concierges, whose entire existence is founded on the ability to provide quality referrals. Feeling increasingly overlooked, undervalued and under appreciated in a digital world, they’re eager for an easier and better way to re-stake their claim and profit from sending guests to local businesses. That’s why we think it’s time for a change - a new and more fair way to do business in the hospitality industry. What’s long been accepted as a one-way street for paying for referrals needs to be expanded into a multilane highway where everyone can profit from personal referrals. Thanks to research on market and manufacturing we can find a way to deliver a product that is significantly better than the competition and created in harmony with what the consumer expects from such a product. We have also grown into a company that helps art directors and other creative people take their ideas from just being an idea into waking them up to life. Lucas & Mikaela are the founders of IFLAMO and Chillbean. We love to keep a high tempo at work. We take as many breaks as necessary to maintain focus and energy, coffee & tea is a daily routine with us. It is important for us that we help each other with different responsible areas. A strength in our company is the creative strategies we daily talk about. We love talking marketing, taking on challenges on how to penetrate the flooded media space. Every year in January we host the IFLAMO Winter Conference, where we talk about the previous year and plan the coming year. We combine this with taking pictures and videos that we can use for ads, marketing & our website.  We will meet up with our USA team to share results with each other. We like to celebrate milestones with going out for a nice dinner & drinks. To keep up the morale in the business we usually gather with friends and other start-ups to play board games or other activities.

Get is an app for Android and iOS which provides visual food clues from surrounding restaurants and eateries. Giving you an overview of meal pictures of today's available selection from temporary and local places. We are working with consumers spontaneous needs, which goes well in line with the consumer-rhythm, people have today.

MyFoodOffice® is a Norwegian born software-as-a-service company passionately helping professional bakeries sell more by making them more profitable, efficient and scalable. Our headquarter is located in Oslo Science Park, the hub for Norway’s leading tech companies. We’ve established a strong presence in the Norwegian bakery industry. Now, we are on a journey to build the leading European tool for Smart Food Production.

Decideret

In Decideret we make wild fermented ciders, brutes and fruit pét-nats. We use surplus garden apples and organic certified fruit from the best orchards in Denmark. We make enjoyable vinous ciders with little intervention with an aim to push the boundaries for what cider can be. Our cuvées are vinous, dry but at the same time juicy like a pét-nat. They can be quite different from what is normally perceived as cider. We want to prove that apple ciders and fruit pét-nats can be as complex and vinous as wine, quenchy as kombucha, sour as lambic, and as fruity as freshly squeezed juice. We crush and press apples (and other fruits), ferment juice into cider, and bottle it. Some ciders are to be drunk young, others gain in complexity when aged in oak or through macerations with the apple pomace or fruits like cherries or grapes. Our ciders and fruit pét-nats are all wild fermented and made from organically farmed Danish fruit with little intervention. Our focus is on craftsmanship, experimentation and reducing food waste. GARDEN APPLES AND ORCHARD FRUIT Every year, in the gardens of Denmark, 5 million kilos of apples fall from trees and are abandoned. On the island of Fyn (Funen, eng) there is a long-standing tradition of handing in surplus fruit to the cidery in Ørbæk where apple donors sign a paper stating that no pesticides have been used. This is ecology and old school reduction of food waste without a label. We have filled some of our fermentation tanks with juice from these crispy garden apples and have now started our own apple collections in Copenhagen and Aarhus. We also cooperate with some of the best organic orchards in the Eastern part of Denmark to be able to work with the most interesting apple varieties for our ciders.

CubiCasa

We are bringing all indoor spaces to cloud. To accomplish this, we have three different product lines that turn existing floor plans, 3D scans or video (from the apartment) into indoor data that is ready to use for our customers. The outputted  property data includes branded high quality JPG/PNG floor plans, OBJ/IFC 3D models as well as structured property data that includes information about rooms, areas, dimensions, fixed furnitures, appliances, windows etc. (over 50 data points in overall).

Cuckoo Workout

Cuckoo is a Finnish wellness technology company specializing in occupational wellbeing. Since 2014, Cuckoo has been a pioneer in its field, offering breaks designed by physiotherapists through a gamified application. The company’s mission is to encourage modern work force to take care of their wellbeing – one break at a time.
