KAHU aims to close a persistent gap in maritime visibility - the inability to continuously track vessels not transmitting AIS (Automatic Identification System) data. AIS can be switched off, spoofed, or absent, creating blind spots exploited by illegal fishing, shadow fleets, and other high-risk actors. The AIS market is also dominated by a few providers, limiting access and transparency. This affects not only maritime safety and security but also the monitoring of ocean environments. We address this by building the first real-time, crowdsourced radar detection network for the ocean. Our onboard software connects to existing vessel radar, collects radar echoes, and streams them securely to the cloud using low-bandwidth protocols. There, echoes are linked into vessel tracks and fused with AIS, satellite imagery, and other data layers to produce a continuous, sea-level view of vessel movements, enabling comprehensive visibility over human activity at sea and supporting timely, informed action.

And with thousands of games releasing monthly, developers of actual great games often have no way to compete with the massive titles dominating the industry. Recognized as one of the best Android apps by HowToMen and Android Police, MiniReview curates, reviews, tags, and categorizes the best new mobile games daily, providing unparalleled filtering options, top games posts, and community-created user ratings and collections. We also build "similar games" recommendation systems to help users discover titles they might like. Similarly, we build promotional systems to help game developers and publishers reach players looking for exactly their type of game. We've tested these systems with a few clients, but are still pre-revenue. We're now looking for a freelancer ad sales manager to help generate the first real revenue. We've always been massive gamers, and have personally felt the struggles of finding actual good mobile games. It's close to impossible. During the last few years we had been noticing that there is an increasing amount of youngsters on e.g. Facebook, who offer themselves for helping with small tasks such as lawn mowing and pet sitting. They are willing to show their credibility and work ethic to people and find their place at the society. Unfortunately, often the Facebook walls they post their offers are so filled with extra noise, that not many potential adults ever see them. At the same time, while working on different great companies, we have found out that mid-/senior level employees do not only have more than enough of work to do at the office, but also very often have a family and a house to be taken care of. They work from 9-5 at the office and after that they head straight to the home and start the, we like to call it "workday no. 2". They indeed are the heroes of work, but we started wondering, is there anyway we could help them to get more out of their spare times, so that they really can enjoy their lives. Not to mention, that we could clearly see ourselves on their shoes in a few decades. With these two problems in mind the idea started slowly to take shape into the form of a web platform, where these two huge groups of our population could solve each others problems with the help of our matchmaking efforts.
