Gravel Group ApS

Gravel Group is an e-commerce business--rapidly connecting local suppliers of construction materials to our customer’s needs. Gravel Group sells and coordinates the distribution of construction aggregates and other materials for residential, commercial, and government construction and landscaping projects, both large and small. Newcycle

We are building Newcycle, because we want to end the throw-away society.   Every year our global society throw away 100 billion tonnes of materials. This obviously can't continue. At the the core of this issue lies a general perception that new things are more valuable than things we already own. Or that things new from the store is better than buying it used from someone else. We believe that if it was easier for people to treat the things they own better, keeping them maintained and in mint condition, this perception would change. We started Newcycle on an ambition to kickstart a circular revolution in retail and consumerism. The way we exploit our planet’s resources needs to change. The way we buy things needs to change. And the way we own things needs to change. With the Newcycle app, consumers can create an inventory of everything they own, to get an overview of their products. It's free to use the app, and we offer additional paid services, like reselling their used items. By giving consumers access to digital twins of everything they own, we make it easier for our users to maintain, repair, refine, buy and sell their products, regardless of whether they are the 1st, 2nd or 8th owner of a product. In the app The Newcycle app connects the owner of a product with the retailer who sold it and the producer who made it, for the entire life span of the product, benefiting both the consumers and the producers of the products. The positive result is longer use of the products and in the end recycling. We won’t change the world all by ourselves, but looking back ten, twenty or forty years from now, we’ll see that our role was a central one. Where are we on our journey? - We have launched the first version of Newcycle, which has been well received among our users and partners 🚀 - We have partnered with IKEA, Anton Sport, Fjällräven and Eplehuset 🤝 ... and we are in close conversations with major retailers and brands 🌍 - We are a team of 8 full time employees (+ 2 interns) 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 - We have secured 14MNOK in funding through two pre-seed rounds💰 (and it's a great investor team 👏), and we're closing our seed round the summer of 2023 📆

MĀDI

MĀDI was created with the mission to reduce textile waste in the fashion industry and change consumer behavior. We want to give clothing brands a new perspective on customer data to help them make better data-driven decisions throughout their business operations. Furthermore, we want to make it easier for consumers to act with a circular mindset when it comes to their clothing and closet items through resale, repair, and recycling. The Digital ID is attached to individual products, allowing brands to follow the lifecycle of their garments after they are sold. This opens up new business opportunities with new options for their customers, as well as gives their brand credibility and reduce counterfeit risks through authentication. The industry is changing, where digitization can be leveraged to help brands be resilient to the changing economy and environment. By engaging the consumer to shift their behavior in how they use products and after-use activities, we can transform the fashion industry to reduce textile waste.

TrialSync is a health-tech startup addressing the issue of low patient awareness and participation in clinical trials, which delays treatment development. By centralizing patient health data and enabling patients to drive recruitment, we streamline trial design and execution, helping new treatments reach the market faster.

Bryte Batteries

Bryte provides buildings owners with clean and profitable energy storage to turn power into profits. Solar installations create new opportunities for commercial and industrial building owners to save money and contribute to a cleaner environment. However, the size of a solar panel system can quickly be limited in size because of regulations where the cost of selling or managing surplus energy outweigh the benefits – unless the surplus is stored in batteries. Bryte uses proprietary flow battery technology to provide building owners with safe and affordable energy storage.

Studies have shown that almost 60 % of 15-22 years olds have experienced low self-esteem because of acne, and as many as 19% have declined being photographed because of an outbreak. This is simply not right. With science-backed skincare and acne-positive digital platforms to match, Common Clouds is changing the narrative around acne. Simply put, we created the brand we wish existed when we were teens – flooded in sebum and sadness. It was time to give acne a glow-up. Common Clouds is a 100% digital, direct-to-consumer brand created for Gen Z. Our social commitments are built into the brand DNA from scratch, and we are working closely with organisations supporting mental health initiatives for young people. Stori is a fast growing Copenhagen based company in the e-commerce interior design space. Known for securing 2.5m DKK in funding in the danish version of Shark Tank called Løvens Hule. We are not simply another multibrand webshop looking to compete with existing stores. Stori is an extensive interior design univers that you do not only visit to find your favorite brands, but also to seek inspiration through our online interior design magazine, and for perks through our membership program, Club Stori. Stori has also become a brand of its own by releasing our first ever products and designs. This is only the beginning of our private label strategy, and we are excited to design and launch our own interior collections for the masses. We are on a mission to create the ultimate destination for everything interior design related.
