"Transparently Norwegian"​ We carefully select guaranteed Norwegian products, ship them via our own "digital highway of trust"​ to ourselves (in China) and sell them directly to end-users in the world (starting with China) through our own e-Commerce platform (and soon in our own retail stores). We are in business, we control the whole value chain, we do it differently and our concept can't be copied by big American tech or food companies. Nordic Data Resources AS

Nordic Data Resources is a leading online data provider, well established in all the Nordic markets after a successful market launch in Q4 2015. We have run more than 1000 campaigns with 100 media agencies in our first 18 months, which generated revenue of € 0,5 million in 2016. We have a monthly run rate of more than € 100 k, which will increase significantly moving forward, particularly when we have globally launched our data. 1) PRODUCT We have developed a scalable, full-reach consumer classification online audience data suite, available for any programmatic platform and digital channel. We specialize in geo-targeting and consumer classification data to reach the entire population. Our data provide a unique way of targeting audiences in a safe and reliable way, available for both buy-side and sell-side, as well as data exchanges and DMPs. Our revenue is driven by ad impressions using our data to target more effectively. We offer CPM based pricing model in the programmatic platforms, as well as a monthly fixed DMP agreement (recurring revenue model) 3) STRONG MARKET GROWTH / CUSTOMERS The data market is driven by the strong growth in the programmatic buying of ads on the internet, mobile, and soon TV. It’s the best-performing sector in the ad industry (40% growth in 2016). It is predicted that programmatic buying and selling will soon and completely take over the ad market. We have built a global distribution from day one with the leading data exchanges and programmatic trading platforms, so we have a very scalable business and revenue model. We have successfully launched our data in the Nordic markets and are now launched in Germany. Nordic Data Resources has an international "Go to Market" strategy where we plan to globally launch our data in the next 3-9 months. We are able to do this since we have a global audience data set and distribution partners, the key job is to make trading desks and media agencies aware of the existence and great value. AURA Biopharm AS

AURA Biopharm AS was founded in 2016 by a team of scientists and drug developers with many years of experience in academia and major pharmaceutical companies and a proven track record of success in drug development. The emphasis of AURA is the development of novel and breakthrough therapies for unmet medical needs and orphan diseases and our slogan “A new opportunity for health” reflects AURA's mission to give a new opportunity to diseases in need of new and/or better therapies. The company operates virtually using a network of external collaborators (consultants, KOLs, CROs, CMOs etc).

Aqua Alarm

Aqua Alarm is developing a Biological Water Alarm System (BiWAS). There are three things that make BiWAS stand out from all other comparable products: 1) It provides real-time monitoring 2) It monitors a broad spectrum of toxicants, carcinogens and pathogens 3) It does this in a very cost-effective way We have among other things been through the av Horizon 2020 phase 1 project and are presently performing two projects to prove the technology in real environments. We are interested in industrial and development partners.

AnsuR

AnsuR solves globally applicable challenges related to photo and video communication in mobile radio and satellite networks. Visual data constitutes over 70% of all Internet traffic, and as sensor resolution increases, the need for communication bandwidth increases correspondingly. The AnsuR software system RAIDO can reduce the bandwidth requirements by 99% via unique solutions to the fundamental challenges. Advanced Computer vision solutions with deep learning at being developed. RAIDO is also a Big Data communication solution, suitable for large sensor populations and the Internet of Things (IoT). RAIDO is certified for use in mobile satellite systems, where the challenges are particularly challenging, but everyone has also experienced bad mobile cell phone coverage. AnsuR makes critical information available to remote users. In drones and autonomous aerial vehicles and surface vessels, the ability to communicate camera content independently of the terrestrial infrastructure is key. RAIDO can also solve problems with large emails and documents due to images and graphics and provide Super-light Interactive Documents, showing the ability to transform how we communicate visual data. AnsuR has based its first years since the start of operations in 2006 on research and innovation, has currently sold the key products to representative customers for list price, and is ready to ramp up activities, marketing, and sales efforts. Both technology and market are proven. AnsuR has about 15 employees in hi-tech software engineering, located in Oslo and Barcelona. The company is currently self-funded and has not yet taken any investments. The shareholders are basically the founders and the employees.

Historically, we have been funded by our founder and core funder, the European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT), but we are currently transitioning to a multi-funder model. EIT Climate-KIC colleagues are based in one of our local offices across Europe or work remotely from home based in one of the countries where we have a branch. We meet at our local offices to exchange and connect and use online collaboration tools work with each other and with our Community.
