Who we are Each year in Denmark, over 2 million people upgrade their smartphones, but few have a clear idea of what to do with their previous device. Of course, they could sell it or trade it in, but today these options are primarily perceived as a hassle, a scam, or a waste of time. This results in Danes often having two or more smartphones wasting in a dusty drawer. Our mission to reduce this waste and to make the best use of their potential by providing a transparent, fair, and simple way to ensure that our old technology gets used to its fullest extent. The user can then support sustainable causes through our platform with the value of their used phones. Why do we exist? Used phones are extremely valuable. In fact, every year we estimate that at least one billion kroner worth of used phones enters the market in Denmark alone. On top of this, smartphone production has tremendous environmental and social impacts that are seldom talked about. Making the best use of minerals and labor that has already been put into our phones is the least we can do. Through research, we found that most people do not sell or trade-in their devices today for various reasons. However, over 90% of people responded that they would donate the value that their used phone could be sold for, entirely or in part, to philanthropic causes so long as it was easy and transparent. Therefore, not only are the causes we support genuinely good, but they provide the motivation to awaken a large and growing market. Today there is no platform where this can easily be done. Lokalist aims to fill this gap in the market and be the platform where people and businesses can easily donate all or part of the value of their used technology to support sustainable actions we all want to see more of. What happens to the used phones? The used phones we receive are safely wiped, complying with Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). They then have a 92% chance to be refurbished or harvested for working components. The semi-new phones are sold in markets across the world to be loved by future users. The phones that cannot be refurbished are responsibly recycled, making sure to reuse minerals that are otherwise impactful to mine. Our values As a company, we focus heavily on integrating the Nordic values of transparency, honesty, community, and simplicity into our mission. This is not typical of our competitors in this space. By being active in the carrying-out of the sustainable causes with our partners, and showing our users instantly how their device could support them, we believe we can help make the best use of our e-waste while spreading the love.

Closay was founded in late 2015 by three friends - and still being a small team - the company structure is very flat. In the current team, we fully acknowledge that we are not the most skilled to solve every single task, which is why new team members are granted a lot of trust and responsibility.An entrepreneurial mindset is highly valued and there surely is a lot to be learned in an early-stage startup like ours. It might even form the base for a future career as an entrepreneur.

bosoLog is a startup created by 3 entrepreneurs, Jesper Ravn Jacobsen (CEO), Jørn Hansen (CSO) and Michael Pedersen (CTO). Our innovative concept encompasses elements such as: fully automated business logics, accurate mapping; real-time monitoring of several parameters and personal alerting by exceptions; proactive maintenance; and support to tactical and operational decision-making. The usage of the bosoLog product is very generic and concerns many different sectors.

So we built something better. The problem we’re solving Most planning tools assume that time feels concrete, motivation is unlimited, and reminders alone will keep people on track. That’s not reality for everyone. For neurodivergent folks - people whose brains process information, time, and focus differently - the challenge isn’t a lack of effort. It’s friction, overwhelm, and tools that don’t adapt to the way we think. The result? A cycle of frustration, missed deadlines, and feeling like we’re failing at systems that were never designed for us in the first place. Why Tiimo? Tiimo isn’t about forcing people into a system that was never made for them - it’s about rewriting the rules entirely. We’re building a world where productivity isn’t about grind culture but about actually working with your brain. A world where visual timelines replace overwhelming lists, gentle nudges replace blaring alarms, and structure is built to support, not suffocate. Monotree

We make branded community apps for desk-less workforces. Founded in 2019, Monotree is a fast growing and profitable start up with over 250 customers in 18 different countries. We build everything in-house and believe that a state of the art product combined with worldclass service is the only war forward. We are a healthy and streamlined business that enjoys moving fast. Monotree consists only of highly skilled people, who get a maximum amount of freedom to contribute to the company in the way they see fit. We are a part of the new breed of tech companies where profitability matters - we are here tomorrow - and the day efter that. We play the long game. Monotree currently employs 12 people and we are actively hiring for more positions, with at least 3-4 people joining 2026. HQ is in Copenhagen, but some work remote. Company atmosphere is relaxed, we keep meetings to a minimum and let people dive deep into their work. We do spend a decent amount of our profits on eating out at very good restaurants.
