Biosfär AB

Our vision is to democratize elderly care by giving this group ownership over their life experiences and activities. The Biosfär is a welfare innovation relying on mixed digital and physical realities to deliver IMAX-like experiences for elderly with dementia. Our product is both a media installation and a pedagogy, breaking down physical and mental barriers to activate all human senses and experiences. With the help of mixed digital technology, Biosfär allows access to and control over daily activities otherwise unavailable to elderly living in assisted care facilities. After 2+ years of testing and participant observation, we have developed 4 concepts and a platform of workshops that fill human needs and are tailored to elderly with dementia. This includes (1) therapy, (2) lifelong learning, (3) story sharing and (4) festive social gatherings. In this time, we've brought residents to never before seen trips, into boat-building workshops, and down memory lane. This has led to 3 - 5x the amount of participation in daily activities at nursing homes, ventures into uncharted territory and one resident who began to speak after being diagnosed mute.

Muna.io

Muna.io is the first-of-its-kind mobile marketplace that gives users personalised offers and complete control of their privacy. Users share their data in exchange for discounts, cash, or gift cards. Companies use us to promote their products, collect customer data ethically and reward users for sharing it. Online marketing is driven by privacy-intrusive data collection with cookies, tracking pixels, and others. The time is ripe for companies to take ethical data collection seriously and reward users for sharing their data. Especially with current growing privacy and transparency awareness. Muna.io empowers individuals with their data. We make it simple for them to monetizes and to exercises their data rights.

Noodl

Noodl is a unified, continuous design & development platform for building new digital products and experiences. Our platform abstracts web technologies into a more visual paradigm that empowers designers, technologists, and experienced engineers to collaborate in a common environment continuously. As a fast-growing platform, Noodl is being adopted in many different ways, from citizen developers that execute ideas with almost zero code experience, to big companies that need to test real ideas with real users super fast.

Songpark AS

Songpark shall be the "Worldwide preferred solution for online musical collaboration!" Songpark is an Oslo-based company founded in 2018 by musician and computer technician Christian Ruud. The company has grown fast and is now the "most promising creative-tech startup in Norway". Musicians and investors all believe in our vision: To create an online musical community and to make it possible to play together at a distance. We are developing a solution (HW+SW) enabling musicians to play together online in real time at disparate locations. Our solution has been tested between different locations for up to 500 km. – and it works!

Visiana

Visiana helps radiology departments achieve automation through machine learning and medical imaging technologies. A routine task in radiology is the examination and interpretation of hand X-rays to determine the skeletal maturity (i.e. bone age) of a child or the bone health. This is a time-consuming task, prone to considerable inter- and intra-rater variability. Our main product, BoneXpert replaces the cumbersome use of a radiographic atlas with an automated and quantitative solution.

Greenphones

Greenphones provides an end to end solution for to extend the lifetime of mobile phones and tablets. Through the provision of a simple user friendly interface allowing private individuals to trade-in their used phones where the value can either be used for the purchase of an upgraded phone or paid out in cash. We saw a clear need in the market to help the consumer and at the same time reduce the number of new mobiles being introduced into the market. As such for each and every new mobile 'not sold' sold in the market, we reduce the CO2 footprint by approximately 55kg. We estimate that we can extend the lifetime of any mobile between 250% and 300% Inspiration for your startup description There are other firms selling used mobile/tablets, but very few that offer the level of service trade-in value. The founders who previously worked with used IT equipment saw that the used mobile market was also in need of a solution. Greenphones has a number of strategies to expand beyond the core business to enhance the circular economy and is constantly in search of ways to support climate initiatives.

Superhood

Superhood is the social discovery hub for people, local businesses, and cities. We help local communities to come together, local businesses to thrive, and local city organizations to build better-functioning neighborhoods. Current neighborhood social activity happens in legacy social networks like Facebook Groups. Superhood is the next-generation solution built for the complete ecosystems of people, businesses, and authorities. In Superhood, there are no groups to join or people/organizations to follow and no gatekeepers or algorithms to limit access to information. With the Superhood app – people can keep up with all the places they care about, local businesses can engage with people in their area, and authorities and other organizations can engage with residents and visitors in real time.

Andning Med

At Andning Med we develop smart intuitive inhalers that help patients inhale their medication correctly and deliver the optimal dose of medication into the lungs. Breathe with us! Every fifth person suffers from respiratory diseases like Asthma or COPD. Patients use an inhaler, but 90% make mistakes during the inhalation, leading to complications and breathless attacks. This represents a large market opportunity with millions of patients that we - a team of a medical doctor, a product designer and a business developer want to target. What we have accomplished 1 - We have a prototype - a fully functional add-on device that can be attached to the inhaler. It is ready to be tested in larger patient studies. 2 - We have tested and verified our solutions with 20 patients and 40 naïve users. 3 - We have spent 2 months of daily observing nurses, doctors and patients in the primary care centers. 4 - We secured 1 MSEK funding from Vinnova, Solna Stad, EIT Health and KTH and we are set to accelerate with larger investment and EU funding. 5 - We have developed the product and business in the KTH Innovation pre-incubator program. The journey ahead Our next step is developing the final prototype to be tested in a pilot patient study and prepare for manufacturing. We now accelerate our efforts towards finalizing the size, shape and usability as well as collecting measurements and handling data using our software. With the finalized product we will run clinical investigations to obtain a CE-mark. We plan to launch the product on the market in 2023. About us Andning Med was formed based on a clear need observed during clinical immersion. During the Clinical Innovation Fellowship program supported by KTH, KI, RISE and EIT Health the team got an unprecedented insight into healthcare challenges connected with COPD and respiratory diseases. Here the idea for a smart inhalation device was born. Our product is an add-on hardware device that measures the inhalation technique, giving live visual feedback every time. Our software collects data and enables tracking over time to motivate patients, involve family and inform doctors. Andning Med is currently supported by KTH Innovation and is exiting a batch in the KTH Innovation Pre-incubator program. The KTH Innovation pre-incubator program is a 12 month program to accelerate the development of promising startup projects from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Startup projects receive extensive support from inhouse Business Development Coaches as well as additional support such as office space, community activities, access to industry, mentor and investor networks.

Our goal is to become the go-to-place for people in need of electrical services by providing the easiest and safest way to get the job done. With SpotOn you order online, get a fixed price instantly and the job done by handpicked pros at a time that suits you. We're an in-house startup backed by one of Norway’s fastest growing companies; Elektroimportøren, a wholesaler of electrical equipment who disrupted their industry by selling directly to end consumers both online and in over 20 retail stores across Norway. Working as a startup and building on our parent company’s strengths and infrastructure has enabled us to scale fast and make our service available to over 70% of Norwegian households. The Problem Our research show that people feel stress just thinking about hiring an electrician and that many struggle to even get started. The main reason being that they don’t know who to contact and what it will cost them to get the job done. But they are also worried because of stories they hear of poor results or misleading prices leading to surprises when the invoice arrives. As a consequence they’ll ask friends or family for recommendations to avoid making the wrong choice. Lack of trust and clarity around pricing creates uncertainty and often leads people to postpone contacting an electrician until absolutely necessary. They learn to live with suboptimal solutions because getting the job done requires too much effort. And when they finally decided to hire an electrician they often experience the person not arriving at the agreed time, and without the necessary equipment to get the job done. The frustration reaches its boiling point when they then have to pay for the extra time needed to drive and pick up the equipment. Our Solution We have digitized the whole process of hiring an electrician, creating a seamless journey from need to end result and a superior booking experience that puts the customer in the driving seat. 01 Instant Fixed Price We’ve built a job-configurator with an inbuilt price calculator making it possible for customers to get a fixed price instantly by answering a few simple questions. This way our customers get’s a price in advance and no surprises when it’s time to pay. 02 Free Video Inspection In addition to our simple job-configurator our customers can book a free video inspection the next day. We’ve hired a team of electricians and built a digital inspection tool making it possible to create and send offers with a fixed price within 24 hours. 03 Handpicked Pros We’ve handpicked pros from Elektroimportøren’s already established network of contractors across the country. This way our customers don’t need to spend time finding a trustworthy electrician and can feel safe knowing the job will be done by qualified professionals. 04 When it Suits You We’ve built a scheduling system from scratch that allows our customers to choose when they want the job done. They simply pick a time and date in our digital calendar and the job is automatically delegated to one of our electricians in the area. 05 Efficient installation We’ve utilised the retail stores across the country to streamline logistics and make installations efficient. We pack and send the electrical equipment in advance so the electricians have all they need, removing unnecessary time spent driving and picking up equipment. 06 Industry-leading Guaranty All our customer are given the opportunity to evaluate their experience after the job is done. If the result is not as promised we fix it free of cost. Our customers can feel safe knowing we take full responsibility with our industry-leading SpotOnGuaranty. 07 Simple Payment When the job is done and the customers are happy they get to choose how they want to pay. Og værst af alt – man skulle finde tiden og lysten til at slæbe sig ned i en fysisk butik for at få rådgivning og kigge på støvede tæpperuller – i stedet for at klare det hele online, ligesom man kan med stort set alt andet til indretningen. SolarDrive Container Power

SolarDrive Container Power (SDCP) is a greentech 🌳 on a mission to deliver carbon-neutral electricity to the world's most remote, off-the-grid, areas and organizations. We do that through our efficient plug & play solar power units that leverage a central part of the global infrastructure - the standardized shipping container. Our product, the Solar Container Power (CPS) units, fits perfectly and easily on top of standard ISO containers and provides electricity in remote areas or in situations where alternatives are expensive or not available. 🌍 Around the world, shipping containers are used as makeshift offices, storage, or place of stay. In this sense, our solution replaces or supplements generators, wind, or grid power. The units come with built-in battery capacity, inverter, MPPT, charger and control system. This means our users only need the sunshine and an extension cable to get power ⚡️ Our product 📦 is patented and has military and civilian applications. Our potential customers count international development and aid organizations, resource extraction, and construction companies. We operate from Copenhagen and Hundslund, south of Aarhus.

SellersPoint

We are SellersPoint, a Danish communication and training platform targeted retail businesses with the vision of taking customer service to the next level. 94% of all companies within retail agree that investing in product and sales training is very important in improving customer satisfaction and achieving financial results. However, while product knowledge is one of the core selling points of brick-and-mortar stores, they seldomly have the resources to train employees in every new product. SellersPoint is a multisided platform for suppliers to deliver e-learning content, training sellers in promoting their product, while retailers receive a tool for educating, motivating, and increasing the performance of their employees. Key to the platform is the connection between supplier and retailer, ensuring a constant flow of new material. Currently, it is not feasible for suppliers to create proprietary systems, as they are unable to provide enough content to justify the costs of such systems. By creating a platform for all suppliers, SellersPoint reduces the cost of each individual supplier and retailer, while maximizing value. Our two-sided platform is based on two SaaS revenue streams. Suppliers and retailers. For retailers we offer a free version that includes access to all supplier content without limits! Because of the free version suppliers will refer related retailers to the platform and vice versa, to improve their value of the product. The team consists of 5 dedicated people working from our office in Aalborg Central. We recently closed a 7 digit investment round and are in the process of scaling the business!
