Hobbii

About five years ago, four tech entrepreneurs spotted a huge interest in yarn; Our growth journey started back in 2016 and consisted of four young guys and a pallet of yarn. They started to supply yarn and inspiration to knitting and crocheting enthusiasts around the world, and we haven’t looked back since. That developed into an adventure which so far has led us to the prestigious Børsen Gazelle award as Denmark's fastest growing company in 2020! 🥇 The recipe behind all of this is about us having fun and delivering results - often in that order!

We're a team that cares deeply about helping marketers do their best work and are always looking for great people to join us. Dreamdata has offices in Copenhagen and New York and is led by Nick Turner as CEO, James Dietrich (CTO), Peter Egehoved (COO), and co-founders Lars Grønnegaard (CPO) and Steffen Hedebrandt (CMO).

Munin Dynamics

Every month, drones injure or kill more than 5,000 Ukrainians. Munin exists to stop that. We build point-defense systems against unmanned threats. Our first product is a hand-launched micro-missile designed to intercept small drones at close range. It is small enough to carry three in a vest and cheap enough for mass deployment. This will be the smallest and most cost-effective guided missile ever fielded. Our aim is to change the battlefield in Ukraine through very high-volume production, then deliver proven systems to NATO.

Diwala

Diwala is a Norwegian-based company that is focused on building opportunities for youth, addressing the global issue of identity theft and certification fraud. Today, displaced individuals and people in emerging markets are challenged by high costs and slow manual processes to verify the authenticity of their skills, identity and credentials. As a result, these individuals have to deal with tedious and out-dated credentialing processes, and are in some cases forced to repeat years of education. This leads to both loss of productivity and inflated unemployment. Imagine that you had to flee your own home because of war. Like Aıscha Najjar, a Syrian doctor turned refugee immigrated to the United States to pursue her dream of work & a safe home. Yet, due to loss of information, she was forced to repeat medical school in the United States. If she had a verifiable skill identity, she might have had the privilege of practicing medicine without any questions. Aıscha`s story amongst others epitomizes the challenge Diwala is addressing. To tackle this challenge, Diwala has created a platform that enables schools and NGOs to issue skill-based identities, backed by blockchain technology. A skill-ID is a digitally verified record of a person’s educational and work history. Diwala is building an ecosystem of trust, by enabling educational institutions and organizations to safely and digitally issue and verify credentials. This will, in turn, save all parties time, money and build a bridge for global work opportunities for untapped talent. Complementing the platform, Diwala has built an app that allows students to easily receive, store and share credentials of both soft and hard skills. By utilizing a decentralized identity management tool, Diwala’s application will also give people ownership of their data information. Diwala is currently executing pilots regularly, to optimize the features and security of the platform in both Kenya and Uganda. Working with their implementation partner Clarke University in Kampala, Diwala recently issued the first set of skill-identities to both students and administrators. These are the first ever digitally verified certificates backed by decentralized identity and blockchain in Africa

Zerply is a talent network for VFX and Animation where companies like Luma, Axis and Meta come to find the best talent. It's an entirely project driven industry where even the top artists go from project to project continually. We're a SaaS product with the most advanced talent sourcing toolset specifically built for the CG/VFX/Animation industry, which is heavily focused on portfolios and real time availability. Traditional tools like LinkedIn recruiter are great when the hiring process can take weeks or months, but not when you need to ramp up a creative team in a matter of days. It's not right that the industry creating the most iconic imagery on the planet is stuck with a manual hiring process from the 90s, running on spreadsheets and calling to check artist availability, and we're here to change that!

Lumoo Studio helps fashion, sports, retail, and beauty brands create AI-driven product and model imagery that aligns with their unique identity. We generate high-quality product images, brand-specific AI models, and videos from static images, providing a seamless and scalable content solution. Sports Lab Copenhagen

Sports Lab Copenhagen is a Sport-for-Purpose Copenhagen-based hub, and network organisation supporting sports innovation entrepreneurship, providing sector-specific expertise and consultancy, and developing the Nordic sports innovation ecosystem. We’re building a vertical social network to unite the 265 million active football players world-wide putting them in control of their own football identity. Players use Tonsser to scout their opponents before an important game, analyse their performances and save personal achievements season by season. More than 1.5 million youth players across Europe already use Tonsser to unlock their potential.

Wingbits

Wingbits, based in Stockholm, is an innovative startup revolutionizing flight tracking with blockchain technology. Funded initially by Antler in November, then also by Borderless Capital in December, our core mission is to globally aggregate flight data to develop advanced models, like delay prediction algorithms. This aims to bring a proactive edge to the traditionally reactive aviation sector. In 2022, flight delays cost the aviation industry a staggering $75 billion, not to mention the environmental toll. At Wingbits, we envision a world free of unexpected flight delays. From a business standpoint, we hit the ground running with revenue generation from our first month and have maintained an impressive organic growth rate of over 200% month-over-month since September 2023. With a comfortable runway ahead, we're gearing up for our next investment round in the first half of 2024.
