Our mission is to reduce the CO2 footprint in professional kitchens by reducing food waste and enabling a sustainable menu transition. Food waste is a 1.6-billion-ton problem that is estimated to account for 8-10% of global greenhouse gas emissions. We founded FoodOp in 2020 with the mission of combatting food waste in commercial kitchens. However, it quickly turned out that food waste was a symptom of an analog ecosystem with great potential to improve the environmental footprint, productivity, and quality of food servings. Therefore, we have ended up building a digital platform that helps professional kitchens reduce Co2 and admin workload. We do so through a menu planning module, a display module, and an ESG reporting module where kitchens can manage Co2, organic produce, nutrition, and food waste. The menu planning and ESG reporting modules are powered by AI and an automated data collection methodology that enables more sustainable, profitable, and enjoyable food service.

This is a time-consuming task, prone to considerable inter- and intra-rater variability. Our main product, BoneXpert replaces the cumbersome use of a radiographic atlas with an automated and quantitative solution.

Chromologics is a Danish biotech spin-out from the Technical University of Denmark. We have developed a fungal biotech platform for the production of novel, natural colorants. Our proprietary fermentation process allows us to be first movers to introduce lab-grown food colorants to the market. Our production is sustainable, scalable and cost-competitive. Unlike other existing natural colors, our colorants are not extracted from high value raw materials like fruit and vegetables, but produced by our wild type cell factory. Keybird Instruments is developing a lightweight acoustic piano to help piano enthusiasts play with their preferred sound (acoustic) with practicality and price comparable to that of digital pianos. Over 75% of piano players prefer an acoustic sound, yet most play digital because of price, size, and weight. We want to combine the best of both worlds. We can offer an acoustic piano that weighs only 43+ 16 kg, while only occupying half a square meter of valuable living space. It can be transported in normal cars. The first model has a slightly reduced amount of keys (just like many digital keyboards) having all the keys for pop and jazz but also most of the classical music for the first five years in music school. We thus have a strong focus on sound quality, rather than loudness, and we can reach the low price due to automated production in the worlds largest factory. We started this because we needed it for ourselves and saw the need for others. We asked all the piano enthusiasts we could reach and get the interest in our product confirmed. The huge market of acoustic and digital piano (we combine the benefits) is what keeps us on pace to provide an excellent alternative to digital piano's, which often get boring in the long run (We're just sharing our customer insights here ;)
