It’s also a top challenge facing older adults; and adults with disabilities that have impacted their mobility and lifestyle. The current market for assistive walking devices has failed to adequately support this community, with ageist messages and outdated models that denote feelings of dependence and fragility – an inaccurate representation of today’s thriving older adult community. Since 2017, our mindful designs have won some of the world’s most prestigious awards in design and innovation, including the 2019 RedDot Design Award, the 2017 IF Design Award and the Danish Design Award, the title “Most Innovative Startup” by FedEx Europe in 2022 and German Design Award 2024. “by ACRE” is our quality seal. Thereby we reduce the operational burden and risk for the business seller while offering speed, flexibility and convenience for the business buyer e.g. by offering the buyer flexible payment terms. Biller may be brand new, but the brains behind it have been in the game for a long time. Our three founders earned their stripes at some of the biggest names in fintech. Now, they’re combining their expertise and energy to do something refreshingly new, and solve an age-old problem at the same time. We aim to be active in every EU country by 2024. That’s huge growth, but certainly within our reach. Shortly after we started Biller, a whole bunch of capital investors started beating down our door to get in. In the end, we partnered with Banking Circle, because they clearly see Biller’s potential to solve a real market challenge.
