Our Story Pharem Biotech is a clean tech company that was founded 2013 in Uppsala, Sweden. We have since established ourselves as an innovative company within the fields of water treatment and biotechnology. The company operates mainly from its headquarters located in Södertälje, where most of the product development takes place. By utilizing the broad biotechnology expertise and in depth knowledge about water treatment Pharem´s mission is to develop efficient water treatment solutions. The applications provide effective means of removing hazardous organic pollutants in water environments. The platform technology allows great flexibility to meet client needs for simple, effective solutions to tackle serious environmental issues within their operational scope. Through close, ongoing collaboration with stakeholders, we are constantly working toward exceeding expectations on the international market. FlyPort is developing a VR-based training platform for professional pilots to help airlines and flight schools get a more adaptable, sustainable and cost efficient way to educate their pilots. All with the use of our portable and immersive FlyPort VR-headset. FlyPort is bridging the gap between theory and practise in professional flight training through VR. Today’s way of training pilots is neither flexible nor conducive to effective learning, which causes pilots not to be as prepared for practical work as they should, and could be. Neither is the way we train pilots today cost efficient or adapted to a more sustainable and environmental friendly aviation industry. With the use of our portable FlyPort VR-headset, our product delivers an immersive training experience more conductive to efficient learning, accessible to the pilot anywhere, anytime and as many times as he or she wants. Not only does this improve safety, but by reducing the number of failed simulator sessions and retakes, airlines and flight schools can vastly cut their training costs while maintaining a high safety standard.

At its core is an innovative, self-learning algorithm which clusters synonyms and establishes relationships between technologies. Thereby it is the first platform that can find matches in related data, which hugely increases the chances of finding relevant freelancers. Around this algorithm a platform has been developed managing the data of freelancers. Many skilled IT people excel at their work, but are lost between thousands of CVs. Freelance agencies rarely use more than 10% of the freelancers in their database. There lies a huge potential in activating the remaining 90%. Our mission is to enable IT freelance agencies effectively to find the best matches between a given task and their CV database. Thereby the focus can shift from finding any match to finding the best.

Our cloud solution reduces emissions and increases efficiency in logistics operations.In current logistics, lack of digital processes and collaboration results in underutilized capacity. Trucks and containers are more than 50% empty which results in significantly higher cost and more emission than necessary. Our solution taps into existing systems to consolidate multiple shipments on parcel level, share resources and utilizes our logistics network to ensure the optimal route.

Seaborg is developing a nuclear reactor technology fundamentally different from what exists today. We are making nuclear an inexpensive, sustainable and safe technology that can out-compete fossil fuels and revolutionise energy markets. We are designing our Compact Molten Salt Reactor to be one of the most sustainable sources of energy in the world. From being a start-up in a basement Seaborg is today employing more than 20 people and scaling fast.
