Layn has developed a mobile-based digital queueing system that enables businesses to increase customer satisfaction by adding a mobile platform to the customer journey. People hate standing in line in stores, at amusement park attractions, electrical charging points, hospitals, and restaurants. The list goes on. By using Layn, the customer can wait for the service where they want, postpone a ticket, use a Fastlane, VIP ticket, or Future ticket to get to the service they need as fast as possible. Layn has developed a cloud platform that lets businesses use whatever hardware they would like to solve their use case. The platform is flexible and extremely adaptable. There are cases with pure mobile to mobile operations, but there are also cases with touchscreen and digital signage solutions delivered by our partners. For some customers, we integrate the solution with access gates and existing operational systems to get the desired customer journey. Users can either get a paper ticket or use their mobile device to get an electronic ticket. We spend all our time developing a solution that is as intuitive, easy, and smart to use as possible. We aim at reducing the relative time felt waiting. In 2019 the two founders took a family trip to Paris to visit the Eiffel tower. After spending 2 hours in line to get through security and pay for their tickets, they had to go back at the end of the line again to wait for the rest of the family members. Like most people, they hate standing in line. They wanted to create a solution where they instead of physically having to stand in line rather could sit down and have a drink while waiting for their turn in the "digital line". After that, the number of use-cases has just exploded.

INVITES is an app to bring people together in social gatherings, which are events created by the user after interest, such as parties, dinners, dating events and much more. INVITES is a customer-to-customer platform, where the platform is mainly the facilitator of bringing people together in an easy non-binding manner. Singles or people in a relationship, can easily find interesting offers – both social and for dating purposes. According to statistics, many are still struggling with finding a romantic partner or even a friend. We believe that all these people have interesting hobbies, and we are sure that this platform, can help bring people together and inspire them to have some fun experiences. According to statistics there where 350.000 danes, who described them selwes as being a 5 in loneliness in a scale from 1-5 - they consider them selwes as being max lonely. At all times there are 700.000 single men and 700.000 single woman in Denmark. This is out of a population of 5.8 mio. people. We want to offer a toolkit for people to find eachother.

Bow Tie Productions was founded in 2019 and is the result of two good friends' dream about doing things together and jointly bringing own visions and ideas to life. With many years of experience from the Danish TV and production industry, we have created the the perfect setting for us to really unfold by brining Bow Tie Productions to life. Electromechanical (EM) devices are used more and more in several fields of technology, bringing remarkable advances. Micro EM systems ensure reduction to extremely low size maintaining the performances of previous bulky products. Silmu provides an experiential private space to recharge, focus, and relax in public premises where privacy is missing. Silmu is designed for offices and public spaces to help people to measure their wellbeing and instantly alleviate stress and anxiety with content and modern wellbeing technologies such as biofeedback.

Backscatter is a Human Data Science Studio based in Copenhagen, where a profound curiosity about people meets data science in experiments, analyses and consultancy about data-driven innovation and decision-making. We find human answers to complex questions and help organisations navigate in a datafied world.

SundBesked is a HealthTech start-up that seeks to enable effortless collaboration and communication amongst healthcare staff, and between patients and caregivers. Our solution will provide an innovative communication platform that facilitates easy sharing of visual information through mobile applications in a secure and legal way. We're working further developing our MVP + performing user tests to guide further programming. SundBesked is a spin-out company from the BioMedical Design Novo Nordic Fellowship Programme at the University of Copenhagen – a program with focus on needs driven healthcare innovation. We are today a part of the accelerator “Innofounder Graduate” supported by Innovation Fund Denmark and Danish Design Center.
