SULONORTH

Helsinki-based digital marketing and language localization company SULONORTH was founded by Alina Lehtinen-Vela in 2019. Alina grew up in Finland’s Häme region and in the capital, Helsinki. After graduating with a degree in Scandinavian languages from the University of Helsinki, she spent a decade traveling the world and working in language localization, journalism, and marketing. Her writing has appeared in Finnish publications such as Mondo, Keskisuomalainen, Turun Sanomat and Etelä-Suomen Sanomat. Being a ‘digital nomad’ and working in a plethora of beach resorts, backstreet cafes, and border towns was fun though, alas, everyone grows up. The demand for localized digital marketing and direct engagement with online audiences was one of the reasons that she decided to set up shop back home in Finland. SULONORTH is now running at full throttle from a plant-filled office in Helsinki’s Lauttasaari district. Don’t stop her now! This isn’t to say Alina’s nomad days are entirely over. Kollektivkraft

Kollektivkraft is an innovative advisory service for the insurance holder, that for a low fee ensures correct and fair claims compensation for our customers through our digital platform and expert support. Just in our primary market Sweden, insurance takers yearly lose several hundred million euros in claims money that they are entitled to. This is due to complicated processes, lack of knowledge, lost documents, and an industry structure that disincentives payouts. These factors result in less payout for the insurance taker = greater profit for the insurance company. We help insurance takers to get the claims compensation that they are entitled to by (1) offering safe storage and organisation of all documents through our web app, before anything happens, and (2) when they have a claim, offering real life expert support from our experienced insurance experts. We are a passionate and diverse team with entrepreneur backgrounds and families, who are driven by the satisfaction and power in solving a common problem. We created Kollektivkraft because we’ve experienced the problem first hand: we had claims that we got external help with and ended up getting 10 times more in payout. All of us also have >20 years of work experience, meaning that we also have the grit, network, and determination needed to take us all the way to our goal.

TOY2 is a toy brand focused on products that allow children (and families) to connect their toys and get much more usage value out of the toys they already have. A.k.a. upcycle the children's toys and extend the lifetime and relevance of the toys. And not least - provide new possibilities with and capabilities of the toys. Our product line are TOY2 Track Connectors that connect bricks from DUPLO, Hubelino or similar with wooden tracks from BRIO, IKEA, VIGA and similar. See toy2.com for more details. We want to reduce waste, induce children (and parents) to play more and keep the toys challenging and interesting across age differences. At Mellonn we want to make the most advanced AI solutions accessible to everyone. With our first product, Mellonn Speak, we are revolutionising the way you transcribe interviews. This is done by using AI and cloud services, to make a quick transcription, and then you can use the built in tools to easily edit the transcription to your liking. Mellonn Speak, as of right now cuts the time it takes to transcribe a 1 hour interview, from approximately 7-10 hours to about 2 hours. Transcribing is one of the most boring and irritating tasks you can give yourself, I want to make it a task that's done quickly, and where you don't have to do the hard work yourself.
