deidei

Hey hey, we are deidei. We're a Nordic-based global DEI agency that helps your organization reach its full potential. It's not really a story of why we wanted to start deidei, but why we had to. There were three reasons. One of them was the enormous need we saw for a DEI agency that genuinely understands DEI as both a people case and a business case. For true impact, DEI has to be looked at as continuous business development, not a box to tick. Another reason: we needed to build ourselves the kind of company we dreamed of working at, with DEI in its DNA. We knew we had to practice what we preach, and we needed a safe, kind and ambitious environment to do that. And finally, the most important reason of all: we started deidei, because ultimately we want to see a world where our services are no longer needed. That’s why we had to.

Storyflight

Vi kender det alle - en video har et budskab, og det skal frem; men når det at komme frem inden der bliver slukket / scrollet videre? Storyflight har med sine nye metoder bl.a indenfor droner en højere procent af thruplays end selv de store mediebureauer. Målet? At vokse - at blive anerkendt som det bureau man kan vælge, hvis ens video både skal have budskab - og oplevelser at give af.

PAPAPAPA

Since 2016 PAPAPAPA has been changing what art is and what it can be! The startup has sold as much as 45.000 artworks in total. PAPAPAPA has designes around 2000 unique artworks. All artworks have been digitally designed by PAPAPAPA, and can be bought in many sizes. We scale our products, in a way that makes it affordable to everyone, starting with posters that is cheap and can be bought in almost any size. Second customers can upgrade to an awesome art canvas, lastly we also offer to upgrade the print to acoustic (Soundproofing).

CitizenLab Danmark

SULONORTH

Helsinki-based digital marketing and language localization company SULONORTH was founded by Alina Lehtinen-Vela in 2019. Alina grew up in Finland’s Häme region and in the capital, Helsinki. After graduating with a degree in Scandinavian languages from the University of Helsinki, she spent a decade traveling the world and working in language localization, journalism, and marketing. Her writing has appeared in Finnish publications such as Mondo, Keskisuomalainen, Turun Sanomat and Etelä-Suomen Sanomat. Being a ‘digital nomad’ and working in a plethora of beach resorts, backstreet cafes, and border towns was fun though, alas, everyone grows up. The demand for localized digital marketing and direct engagement with online audiences was one of the reasons that she decided to set up shop back home in Finland. SULONORTH is now running at full throttle from a plant-filled office in Helsinki’s Lauttasaari district. Don’t stop her now! This isn’t to say Alina’s nomad days are entirely over. Hint Technology

Just living on earth these last couple of years has been exhausting and guess what, spending 100 hours just trying to find something to watch is not really what we are in the mood for at the end of yet another day in covid/war/climate crisis-times or any time for that matter. Streaming platforms are undeserving their users' need for a fast and uncomplicated path to discovery. Disney+, Apple TV+, NBC Universal’s Peacock, Warner Media’s HBO Max were all launched between November 2019 and May 2020, paving the way for what media calls the ‘Streaming War’. Needless to say the competition has become tougher over the last couple of years. In order to attract new users the content on each respective platform doesn’t seem to be the main trigger for people anymore, but rather the platform's algorithmic technology. Meaning how the content is organised, how accessible it is and the way it is presented on the platform. These algorithms are also called a ‘sociotechnical process’ by scientists and have over the last decade emerged as a crucial part of shaping our culture and personal taste through complex relationships between human and non-human players. We spend hours of our lives scrolling through these different platforms trying to find something we’d like to watch. Research suggests we spend 100 hours per year for an average user to be exact, only on Netflix. That's a total of over 21 billion hours per year. 21 billion hours in turn is 2,4 million years. Our first app is in the works and will help users figure out their own taste as well as recommend things to watch based on their own preferences, without overwhelming them in a sea of options. So, will the future of streaming require us to scroll and jump in between platforms in the same way as we do today? Not if we get to decide! We believe in a scroll-free world and Hint will provide not just one way to deal with this but many.

Apartments are serviced by us, and rental is taken care of for the rentee and we take care of the rental to customers. This allows the renter to be completely decentralized from their property, while still reciveing and income.

NIKO JUNE

NIKO JUNE is an active office and creative workshop set up to test the temperature of good objects (1). The production is impulsive and forever flexible (2). The eclectic catalogue exhibits occasion-based small collections alongside one-off pieces created in collaboration (3) with fine talent. Beyond the collaborations is the semi-permanent collection of NIKO JUNE studiowear and gear. (1) GOOD OBJECTS The ones you keep. Those that are made to keep. We are aware that for anyone to get there, to hold on, what matters is only partly the object itself. The defining factor is the attitude of the owner (ownership). But we get somewhere by proposing objects that demand attention for more than a minute. Not by glazing it white, nor pastel or by bending it to match your curves. Instead we wish for you to call us out as loud and opinionated. We are high maintenance. Classic forever. By testing we mean doing experiments on established notions of the designed. And to challenge the conditions of use that follows. Good objects are such that give power to an attitude that treats sustainability, not as science but as emotion. (2) FLEXIBLE Our body is flexible like the smell of patchouli. Meaning that our structure is non-static and open ended. Our identity is a moving thing that allows us to be spontaneous and reactive to sudden impulse or intriguing demands. Impulsivity applies to our process of making. Short production lead-time and fast thinking while aiming for an unhurried object feel and life. Soft legacy. (3) COLLABORATIONS Involving fine talent and expertise naturally help us exercise flexibility and sport us with longer, sleeker limbs to show off. The workshop acts as an international bank of professional, critical and creative exchange. This gives rise to perspectives and intentions or problems as well as solutions that we couldn’t have come up with alone. Also- we do it for the fun of it. This is giving all the way around. Collaborations will always be either limited edition or made by order.
