Bantaba is a digital matchmaking platform connecting African startups with professionals and investors in the African community living abroad (the “diaspora”). Despite an entrepreneurship rate of 22%, more than 70% of startups in Africa lack access to talent and capital. This is the problem we are solving. Our platform matches African Startups with diaspora mentors, consultants and investors. Bantaba is part of SSE Business lab and we were finalists in the Shift Capital competition.
