Danish Startup Group

Danish Startup Group (DSG) is a non-profit organization in Copenhagen. Our vision is to inspire and support entrepreneurs in their startup journey. We do that by engaging with our members in a variety of events:start-up tours, workshops, learning activities and social networking opportunities. Through our events, we strive to provide our members valuable insights into the national and global startup environment and connect them with like-minded peers from different universities, colleges and professions.

Optimum Voyage

At Optimum Voyage, we are passionate about weather routing and voyage optimization. We see enormous potential in applying modern technologies towards achieving the most optimal routing of ships. Route optimization is one of the most direct ways for ship owners and operators to reduce overspending on voyages, both financially and environmentally. This is part of what makes it rewarding to work with and to deliver to our clients worldwide. We pride ourselves in staying open-minded and will always listen to our clients' feedback, requests, and good ideas. Grant ApS

Grant develops and markets GrantOne - a user-friendly, cloud-based solution that caters to the needs of foundations, their boards and administrators. GrantOne digitalizes the entire application handling process from online application forms, through application review to final payout. GrantOne is highly customizable allowing the workflow to be customized to cater to the particular needs of each customer and user. We have currently implemented GrantOne with more than 75 foundations ranging from small foundations to some of the biggest in Denmark.

mcare

The Core Service group is more commonly known by its brand name, mcare, and it has been servicing the Nordic market with aftersales processes and authorized Apple repairs since 2010. The company employs over 60 certified Apple experts and has a capacity exceeding a quarter of a million repairs on a yearly basis for the 19 locations spread throughout the Nordics. The revenue for 2019 landed at €22,4M, showing a 20% annual growth. We primarily drive a B2B set-up, having customers within the insurance industry, carriers, and larger well-known enterprises, as well as municipalities and SMEs. Now, we also aim to gain broader recognition amongst consumers.

Cura Connect

Our online platform is looking to change the way hospitals are forced to spend massive chunks of their budgets on costly intermediators to manage their staffing. Through Cura Connect, hospitals connect directly with doctors and nurses to match the right competence with the right assignments - saving tons of money for hospitals, care givers and tax payers.

Molteo

Digital Workspace for the Construction Industry Many construction companies are still heavily relying on paper-based repetitive processes in their everyday work. This leads to problems when monitoring the status of running projects, scheduling new projects, or planning the long-term development of the company. The company’s liquidity is in danger, when delays, reduced quality, and/or disputes with client, become the norm rather than the exception. Twig is a Danish natural personal hygiene start-up that aims to promote a sustainable and back to basics lifestyle through its 100% natural and biodegradable toothbrush. Twig is a natural toothbrush that is more portable and hygienic, leading to a decrease in waste and pollution. The primary target customers with a sustainable mindset and lifestyle further includes sub-segments of vegans, yogis, outdoor adventurers, environment conscious consumers. As an impact-driven startup born from the passion to introduce a complete sustainable solution to the gruesome plastic waste crisis from toothbrushes, the urge is to make better use of the natural resources we have by integrating them as a part of our green habits. Our purpose is to simply leave a mark on the world instead of the planet by becoming the most honest and transparent natural personal hygiene brand.

HELIOT EMIL

1. INTRODUCTION A Ready-To-Wear fashion company presented by brothers Julius Juul and Victor Juul from Copenhagen, Denmark. Exploring the lines between form and function driven by experimental approaches, HELIOT EMIL™ pushes the semantic dialogue within the creative industry. A subversive scandinavian and monochromatic aesthetic, combined with custom developed materials, fabrics and trimmings, HELIOT EMIL™ entices a high attention to detail throughout every branch. Designer Julius Juul draws on thought provoking themes and a curiosity about creative expression reflected in every collection by HELIOT EMIL™. 2. FOUNDATION Since the first collection was showcased in Milan during spring / summer 17 season, HELIOT EMIL™ has continually expropriated its exploration of the creative milieu. The aesthetic is carefully developed with custom fabrics, hardware trimmings and materials. Each hardware detail is created from the bottom up with form and function in mind. Experimentation and a high attention to detail is ensured by partnering only with the best in their category and industry. A tight-bond with all partners allows for a coherent evolution of the brand aesthetic. With painstaking attention to detail each garment is conceived from a collective ideation for each season standing in relation to the brand as a whole. 3. FUTURE The subsequent phase for HELIOT EMIL™ will see a further cementation of the brand and an expansion of the semantic dialogue with the creative milieu. The core value of the brand will be explored without compromise, through both physical spaces enticing further ideas of form and function, and experiences expressing the innovative nature of the brand. Underlying the continuous organic development is a coherent understanding of the brand developed in close proximity with all partners.

Grei Community is a product by Grei Technology - a start up focusing on Femtech and equality. Discussions around female health are surrounded by social stigma and misunderstanding. Our mission is to normalize the private and intimate topics. We want it to be as natural to discuss menstruation, sex and intimacy as headache, travel and politics. We want to be a part of changing the world, changing the attitudes of the society, giving women and men equal possibilities and rights. We believe that sharing stories and discussing even the difficult topics, we will build female empowerment. Knowledge is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.

Martin Key

Martin Key, founded in 2016, is a Swedish brand offering high-end customized leather garments, with jackets as the main focus. The jackets are handmade in our own factory in the northern part of Sweden, Dalarna. We produce all our garments based on customer orders and thus remaining sustainable by avoiding over production and minimizing left-over fabrics. Even though we are positioned at a relatively high price range (our jackets start from 20k SEK and our shoes from 5k SEK), we see our conscious customers demanding even more luxurious features; our most expensive jacket was sold for 95k SEK. As we already have a clear creative vision, we are now looking for a strategic business developer who can lead us in the right direction and grow the business.

Mesensei

Mobile Platform as a Service (PaaS) for high-value communities and ecosystems High value communities: Professionally organised Industrial and innovation ecosystems; large business and expert networks; peer-to-peer and patient support networks with business critical content and sensitive personal data. The Problem: Building and engaging high-value communities is difficult without a digital platform. Community members need high quality experience, while data protection hygiene and compliance is not optional for e.g public institutions in EU. Terms and conditions, IPR-, and data ownership are unresolved issues on most community platforms, as the true value creation in the community is owned by the platform provider. The Solution: Mesensei offers everything high-value communities need to design, develop, and operate their own GDPR compliant community platforms under their own brands and data controllership. With Mesensei, the customers can also deploy immediately their own mobile applications and at a fraction of a cost of traditional software development. We are serving high profile customers such as University of Cambridge, VTT and HUS. We are now looking for an investment to speed up our sales, marketing and international expansion.

We aim to eliminate Ghost Bookings, and optimize the use of resources. We help to manage the vast amount of guests in a large organization with our Pletora Hello platform.

We are a the largest sharing economy platform in Scandinavian with +150.000 items for rent i Denmark. We connect people who needs a product with someone who owns a product. That could be a drilling machine, a soundboks or a roof box for the next vacation. We offer an insurance and other administration tools to make sure that the security is a place.
