BuddyUp Social

BuddyUp Social is a social discovery platform helping adults in Denmark—especially expats and newcomers—find meaningful connections through shared interests and real-life events. We’re solving the problem of adult social isolation by making it easy to create, join, and engage in hobby-based meetups, all through one intuitive app. Making friends as an adult can be surprisingly difficult. Whether you're a Dane moving to a new city or an expat starting fresh in Denmark, it’s common to feel socially disconnected. Many adults don’t know where to start when it comes to meeting new people outside of work, dating apps, or closed social circles. This problem is widespread and well-documented—especially in Denmark, where surveys consistently show that many internationals struggle with social integration, and even locals describe it as awkward to make new friends past a certain age. We’re tackling this head-on by making socializing more accessible, interest-based, and low-pressure. BuddyUp Social is designed to break down the barriers of adult friendship and create opportunities for spontaneous, real-world connection. Whether it’s joining a hike, hosting a board game night, attending a ceramics class, or finding a casual pub quiz crew, BuddyUp is all about connecting people who are "up for it"—with no pressure, no awkward messaging phase, and no algorithms getting in the way. Unlike traditional social platforms focused on digital interaction, BuddyUp is built around real-life meetups. Users can explore and join events happening near them, or create their own. Events can be public or invite-only, recurring or one-off, and are always centered around shared hobbies or interests. The app also welcomes collaborations with local businesses, allowing them to showcase open community events, bringing even more variety and accessibility to users. We’re launching in Denmark first—starting with Copenhagen and Aarhus—before expanding to similar cities across Europe. The idea behind BuddyUp was born from personal experience. As someone who returned to Denmark after years abroad, and with friends struggling to meet people after relocating, it became clear how socially challenging adulthood can be. We kept hearing the same story: “I’d love to meet new people, but I just don’t know how or where.” Instead of settling for outdated forums, clunky Facebook groups, or apps not designed for platonic connection, we decided to build a better solution ourselves. BuddyUp is more than an app—it’s a movement to make adult friendship and community-building normal, easy, and enjoyable again. We’re passionate about creating a product that helps people feel less alone and more empowered to take the first step toward new friendships. We believe that real-life connections are essential for personal happiness and social wellbeing—and we’re here to make those moments happen.

Landjord ApS

Landjord converts farmland into wild nature and private camping sites. We solve the lack of authentic, quiet nature experiences with comfort, while creating new income for farmers. Campers get access to secluded, well-designed spots, and their stay supports biodiversity and green transition. It’s a scalable model combining tourism, nature restoration and agriculture.

Responsibly

Responsibly is a sustainability tech start-up with vision of making every purchase in the world responsible 🌍 There's no bigger problem out there than the climate, and procurement represents a big part of the solution - when purchase decisions are made on the background of responsible data like CO2 footprint, suppliers have a huge incentive to change. However, procurement is becoming overloaded with complexity. Different frameworks, different data sources, different coverage, making it difficult to make purchase decisions to improve your responsibility profile and scope 3 emissions. At Responsibly, we're trying to solve this issue by using leading technologies and data science, to build a supplier data platform that makes it easier to source responsibly. We're founded by two serial entrepreneurs with previous successes like Dixa and Ofload, and have received pre-seed funding from some of Europe's top VCs and angels. We're now building a top-tier team to tackle this big thing called climate, and have fun while we're doing it 🤘

Droppe

Droppe is building the most comfortable way to order workwear online. Across Europe, 95 million workers rely on workwear every day—but the way it’s bought is broken. Instead of fixing procurement from the top down, we’ve built the experience from the ground up—based on how workers actually want to order. Son of a Tailor

Since the beginning of mass production a hundred years ago, the clothing industry has not treated its people, products or our planet well. The arrival of e-commerce, with its increased return rates and squeezed margins, only caused worse conditions and more waste in an already careless industry. Son of a Tailor has changed this. Through technology and a lean supply chain, we are fundamentally changing how apparel is made. We have no inventories, always do custom fit on demand, we create much less waste, and reconnect the link between those who make the garments and those who wear them. We are a tech-forward fashion company. We have 100,000+ customers around the world, a fantastic team in Denmark and Portugal and we get great reviews by GQ, Esquire, Trustpilot and Highsnobiety.

KAHU

KAHU aims to close a persistent gap in maritime visibility - the inability to continuously track vessels not transmitting AIS (Automatic Identification System) data. AIS can be switched off, spoofed, or absent, creating blind spots exploited by illegal fishing, shadow fleets, and other high-risk actors. The AIS market is also dominated by a few providers, limiting access and transparency. This affects not only maritime safety and security but also the monitoring of ocean environments. We address this by building the first real-time, crowdsourced radar detection network for the ocean. Our onboard software connects to existing vessel radar, collects radar echoes, and streams them securely to the cloud using low-bandwidth protocols. There, echoes are linked into vessel tracks and fused with AIS, satellite imagery, and other data layers to produce a continuous, sea-level view of vessel movements, enabling comprehensive visibility over human activity at sea and supporting timely, informed action.

At ReBite, we’re developing a protein bar that makes it easier to choose something truly healthy. Many people are looking for snacks that are simple, natural, and actually good for them. But most protein bars on the market today are highly processed and don’t live up to that. Most current protein bars: - Have long and confusing ingredient lists - Contain artificial sweeteners, additives, and protein isolates - Are high in protein, but offer very little fibre or real food ingredients - Don’t leave people feeling like they’ve eaten something healthy ReBite is different. Our bar is: - Made with whole, natural ingredients - 45% made from upcycled side-streams from the food industry in Copenhagen - Free from sweeteners, preservatives, and other additives - Made without protein isolates—only protein from original raw ingredients - High in fibre (10g) and with only 8g sugar from natural sources ReBite is a cleaner, more honest alternative for people who want a snack that’s better for both their body and the planet.

CANNORDIC A/S

CANNORDIC A/S is a Danish-based MedTech company committed to improving people's lives with products that make a difference. We combine science, nature, and passion to deliver innovative alternatives with high efficacy and bioavailability to patients, especially with autoimmune diseases. We research, develop, manufacture, commercialize and brand over-the-counter (OTC) products under pharmaceutical legislation. Currently, 21 products with cannabidiol aimed at autoimmune and stress-related diseases have been developed. The first 2 products reached Danish stores in 2020, and now 9 products are available on the European market at more than 500 points of sale. Another 12 products will be launched before the end of 2024, with 11 patent-pending products. The product line surpasses competing products on the market by being located at the intersection of natural products, science, and cannabinoid technology while certified under pharmaceutical legislation. Chamberlain Coffee is focused on delivering high-quality coffee with a focus on sustainability when sourcing and roasting coffee beans. Chamberlain Coffee combines great coffee with a unique brand identity with the aim to become the first-choice coffee brand for people all around the world. The company was originally founded by the popular Youtuber, Emma Chamberlain. Since Chamberlain Coffee was relaunched in October 2020 in collaboration with Blazar Capital.

Miiskin

Miiskin connects patients with online dermatologists for online dermatology consultations and enables patients to monitor their skin for changes. The Miiskin app is available in most countries and it's currently patients in the United States and Mexico that can find an independent online dermatologist and start a consultation through Miiskin. The Miiskin platform consists of a web portal for providers and web-based and app-based consultation flows for patients and is used end-to-end by dermatologists to deliver efficient dermatology care to patients online. The Miiskin telehealth platform was initiated in 2022 and was built on top of the infrastructure of the leading Miiskin skin monitoring app.
