Tendo - For people, not symptoms

Grasp life with the support of Tendo – a soft exoskeleton, a robotic glove, which assist a person to grip, hold and release objects. It’s created for people who struggles with daily activities due to e.g.a a stroke or spinal cord injury. By combining the users voice with revolutionary robotics, Tendo helps people to regain their independence while addressing a global healthcare challenge by reducing the strain on the care sector and enabling users to contribute to society once again. We are currently a team consisting of seven people - four full-time workers and 3 interns and we are mainly located at Ideon Innovation. We use data-driven insights for empowerment and better outcomes of healthcare by developing a digital platform for lifestyle- and behavior change.Our objective is to encourage and motivate patients through an ongoing and active collaboration between individuals, family & friends and healthcare providers.Our platform  is based on a cloud solution built on a micro service architecture with access via a smartphone (iOS and Android) for patients and a web interface for healthcare providers. MyIndicators is a company founded in November 2014 in Stockholm, Sweden and is also the name of the Software as a Service (SaaS) the company has developed. The service addresses the two main challenges of active ageing and self-management of health. We have also developed indicators within the business area Education to promote student-centred learning using IT system. Patrik Helenius is one of the co-founders. He has almost 30 years experience in IT development projects in various industries, primarily in healthcare and entrepreneurship. This experience includes more than 10 years in the development of IT solutions for the management of quality indicators. Patrik developed specific solutions for a number of disease areas measuring clinical quality.Malene Schmidt is the co-founder of MyIndicators. She has more than 20 years of experience as an international educator in both Denmark and Sweden (International Baccalaureate).Nadeem Nasir is a software developer with 12 years of experience in web development working as a full stack developer. He studied a Master in Computer Science at Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden and worked at the IT University of Copenhagen.Tee Fwo Yi, Jude is working as a research and marketing analyst. Fwo Yi is a registered nurse in Malaysia and has a combination of public health and international research experience across Sweden, Singapore and Malaysia. She graduated with a Master in Global Health from Karolinska Institutet 2016 and analysed data from the Regassa study in Sweden.Mattias Hammarhorn started at MyIndicators as an intern and is now working as a Full stack developer. Mattias graduated from the program System development .Net  at Learnia Yrkeshögskola 2018.Sandhya Rani started at MyIndicators after she graduated from the program Technical tester at Jensen yrkeshögskola  and is now working as a software tester.

Friendbase is a vibrant social virtual world for teens. Friendbase is populated by users (13+) across the world who make new friends, take fun quizzes, and play games together. As opposed to a stand-alone app or game, Friendbase is an extremely flexible platform that is continually evolving with additional content and experiences for its users. The company has made safety features an essential part of the Friendbase experience, to create an environment that is both welcoming and vibrant.

Ntention

Interaction with machines is constantly changing. Automation is increasing, but the number of machines we interact with is also increasing. These conditions require new and easier ways of interacting with machines to allow more people to control a greater number of machines with less effort and training. That’s why we are ushering in a new paradigm of control systems. Ntention are building a system of interaction between the people and the machines that are user-centered – not machine centered. The machine will understand the user – not the other way around. Our goal is to understand the intent of the user and translate it into machines. This is how we are moving beyond motion capture and into the world of intention capture.

GIRL CRUSH

GIRL CRUSH is a creative agency working with social media, videoproduction and photography. In addition we have a web magazine trying to inspire girls to follow their dreams! In 2018/19 we are also launching a new co working space designed and specialized for our target audiance.Our clients are companies, PR-agencies, influencers and webshops.We thrive to encourage girls and women to be authentic, brave, curious, openminded and supportive! Our agency is also a community with values we believe is very important in order to pursue our ambitions in the social media world. Having been sister rivals in the childhood we eventually found out that values and goals were and are the same, and for a long time we dreamt of working together, whether it should be the start of a different online magazine for women, fashion design or advertising. We see the final pieces fall into place, and found that working with content creation for social media is where we can complement each other in the best possible way.  GIRL CRUSH wants to encourage women to not compare, we must stop feeling threatened by others we think are better than ourselves. "It's strange to say out loud, but my ideal of beauty is myself at my best. "In connection with a job interview, I took a personality test that shows that I am extremely individualist, ie; I prefer to do things alone, and choose to rely on my own skills and instincts rather than seek contact with other people. I know what I'm good at. I want to be independent and autonomous, thrive alone in a private company and have from time to time some good moments with confidence on top and think I can do everything by myself (remember that self-esteem and self-confidence is not the same). But now I have realized that this 'trait' (which I until now, have called it), is not particularly lucky if I want to achieve something in life. I will not stand alone. Why should I, when I know that together with other good people (especially women), we can accomplish so much more? I would rather ask myself; What can I do to encourage and embrace women around me? Is it possible that someone needs my help? When was the last time I did something meaningful for another woman in my industry? And as journalist Lindsey Saletta wrote in an article; is there anything inside me holding me back from supporting women? Who we are Each year in Denmark, over 2 million people upgrade their smartphones, but few have a clear idea of what to do with their previous device. Of course, they could sell it or trade it in, but today these options are primarily perceived as a hassle, a scam, or a waste of time. This results in Danes often having two or more smartphones wasting in a dusty drawer. Our mission to reduce this waste and to make the best use of their potential by providing a transparent, fair, and simple way to ensure that our old technology gets used to its fullest extent. The user can then support sustainable causes through our platform with the value of their used phones. Why do we exist? Used phones are extremely valuable. In fact, every year we estimate that at least one billion kroner worth of used phones enters the market in Denmark alone. On top of this, smartphone production has tremendous environmental and social impacts that are seldom talked about. Making the best use of minerals and labor that has already been put into our phones is the least we can do. Through research, we found that most people do not sell or trade-in their devices today for various reasons. However, over 90% of people responded that they would donate the value that their used phone could be sold for, entirely or in part, to philanthropic causes so long as it was easy and transparent. Therefore, not only are the causes we support genuinely good, but they provide the motivation to awaken a large and growing market. Today there is no platform where this can easily be done. Lokalist aims to fill this gap in the market and be the platform where people and businesses can easily donate all or part of the value of their used technology to support sustainable actions we all want to see more of. What happens to the used phones? The used phones we receive are safely wiped, complying with Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). They then have a 92% chance to be refurbished or harvested for working components. The semi-new phones are sold in markets across the world to be loved by future users. The phones that cannot be refurbished are responsibly recycled, making sure to reuse minerals that are otherwise impactful to mine. Our values As a company, we focus heavily on integrating the Nordic values of transparency, honesty, community, and simplicity into our mission. This is not typical of our competitors in this space.
