Who we are Each year in Denmark, over 2 million people upgrade their smartphones, but few have a clear idea of what to do with their previous device. Of course, they could sell it or trade it in, but today these options are primarily perceived as a hassle, a scam, or a waste of time. This results in Danes often having two or more smartphones wasting in a dusty drawer. Our mission to reduce this waste and to make the best use of their potential by providing a transparent, fair, and simple way to ensure that our old technology gets used to its fullest extent. The user can then support sustainable causes through our platform with the value of their used phones. Why do we exist? Used phones are extremely valuable. In fact, every year we estimate that at least one billion kroner worth of used phones enters the market in Denmark alone. On top of this, smartphone production has tremendous environmental and social impacts that are seldom talked about. Making the best use of minerals and labor that has already been put into our phones is the least we can do. Through research, we found that most people do not sell or trade-in their devices today for various reasons. However, over 90% of people responded that they would donate the value that their used phone could be sold for, entirely or in part, to philanthropic causes so long as it was easy and transparent. Therefore, not only are the causes we support genuinely good, but they provide the motivation to awaken a large and growing market. Today there is no platform where this can easily be done. Lokalist aims to fill this gap in the market and be the platform where people and businesses can easily donate all or part of the value of their used technology to support sustainable actions we all want to see more of. What happens to the used phones? The used phones we receive are safely wiped, complying with Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). They then have a 92% chance to be refurbished or harvested for working components. The semi-new phones are sold in markets across the world to be loved by future users. The phones that cannot be refurbished are responsibly recycled, making sure to reuse minerals that are otherwise impactful to mine. Our values As a company, we focus heavily on integrating the Nordic values of transparency, honesty, community, and simplicity into our mission. This is not typical of our competitors in this space. By being active in the carrying-out of the sustainable causes with our partners, and showing our users instantly how their device could support them, we believe we can help make the best use of our e-waste while spreading the love.

Bookatreat is a mobile app and online service that allows users to browse for their next beauty treatment and book their appointment. Booking a beauty treatment should be just as easy as booking a taxi, flight och restaurant table, just a click away in your mobile. Salons can efficiently offer their unbooked time-slots and gain bookings from excising as well as new clients and grow their business.

TikkTalk

TikkTalk is an open digital solution for administration of interpretation services. With TikkTalk, you can have video- and phone meeting on any unit you want. Anyone with interpretation skills can register, validate their skills by uploading relevant documentation and access relevant interpretation assignments worldwide. Governmental organizations and enterprises can gain direct access to a global pool of interpreters sorted by language, level of qualification, and feedback. Our mission is to bridge the gap between cultures and languages. We want to make the world smaller by breaking the barriers that separate people. We feel like there is still too much hate in the world. Generally, we want to help people through communication. We want to help the refugee to get integrated into the country and to feel comfortable. Last year the government spent 500 million NOK on interpretation services. This year, the budget has doubled because of the refugee crisis. Half of the money is earmarked for travel. If you can convert 10-20% of that money to video, then we could save a lot of money both for the government and the taxpayers. Then we could spend it on education and health systems.

BrightArch is an enterprise software company that specializes in helping organizations going through transformational changes (for example, post-merger integration, restructuring, etc). Our first product is OrgWeaver; a set of tools and processes to efficiently design an organization, solicit employee preferences, and make informed staffing decisions. The team we want to build is one where people realize what their talents are and what they are most interested in, and where they get the room to use those and create a better effect for the whole team. Documentation of the things that make your organization function – processes, systems, capabilities, strategies – can quickly get spread out across many tools.  Ardoq keeps that information in a single place and makes sure it stays up-to-date through automation and collaboration. We offer a complete SaaS solution using some of the most exciting technology.  Working at numerous companies, big and small, we always had trouble finding historical documentation. It took days to navigate the local system architecture. And even when we found documentation, the lack of standardization made things even harder. To make matters worse, we never really understood the big picture, “how were we affecting other teams, processes, and systems?” we could never know. All this wasted time was costing these companies money and causing employees huge amounts of frustration, especially when new staff arrived. So we decided to stop pulling our hair out and created a lightweight, easy-to-use alternative to the solutions you find in enterprise architecture and documentation software.

This is a long-term investment and saving solution designed to grow with low risk over the long term, not a trading app. Located in Copenhagen, with offices also in Bahrain, we are regulated and licensed by the Central Bank. We are targeting the 1.8 billion Muslim investors who have had access to little to no solutions to date. COCOA has established relationships with leading global asset managers (some of the largest in the world) as well as the bank partnerships required to make the solution live. We are close to launching the application in the sandbox with a full rollout in the next few months. We are currently looking for a co-CTO.

We are a team of experienced game developers, artists, designers (even business guys) with backgrounds from the worlds most successful studios such as King, EA, Glu, Gameloft, Starbreeze etc. We are informal but very result-driven. We have set working hours, from 9-6 at the office in Stockholm as its important for us to to be close to our colleagues to be fast, we use scrum and the whole team celebrates every sprint ending together, often involves playing games, drinks, snacks & good food.We love games and we take pride in what we do

We have an API for phone calls, messages, and MMS which allows any developer without any experience to use features in the mobile networks. The vision is fairly simple: technology should be accessible for every developer and every business no matter the size, and not be restricted to big companies.We are focusing on developers and geographically on Scandinavia but long term, we see our service on a global basis. We are a dedicated team and our culture is built on trust. Everybody can work where and how they want. We try to share the common burden of customer support, but other than that we have clear responsibilities and we trust everyone to do what they do best. At 46elks, we don’t have regular meetings as we often work from different places, which means we offer a lot of freedom. Customers are our first priority: we always try to answer quickly on emails and we are always available for a phone call. Our features are based on their feedback and we listen carefully to them to know what to do next. We have two core values at 46elks: stability and honesty. The service should always work, and we tell our customers if we have a technical problem. Simple as that. And just to mention a little bonus: every team member gets their own Raspberry Pi on their first day!
