Epigram is a machine learning company based in Oslo, Norway. We’re currently solving machine learning problems for companies in Norway, but aim to create our own product in the not so distant future. Epigram was founded in February 2017 by previous and current students at the Department of Informatics at the University of Oslo (IFI). Today we count six full-time employees, and one part-time student.

Our proprietary technology uses big data and machine learning techniques to maximize oil production in real-time. Data generated from increasingly instrumented modern oil fields has reached massive amounts and will continue to grow. We are taking on the challenge of turning data into value with our advanced data-driven tools that exploit existing data sources to deliver actionable intelligence. We help oil companies make operational decisions on a daily basis to maximize oil throughput. We are a young team of mostly NTNU alumni. Our goal and passion at Solution Seeker is better utilization of available data and increased situational awareness in complex environments for our customers. We want to make technology simpler and the data more available to as many users as possible.

During 2019 Eatit increased rapidly in number of paying customers and are ready to onboard more people to the team. We are social entrepreneurs with a passion for food, technology and health. Our solution is built with Artificial Intelligence and we are working together with physicians and dieticians to develop our solution. I make artificial intelligence with minimal effort. I am an linguist and my way of working is unformal and friendly. I need someone who knows a programming language who will sit with me and have dinner with me and for an hour or so will help me build this database. I will sell the software as automated customer service and as a marketing tool and a combined CRM and ERP-system. It is purely experimental and if we break through with this, you will get 90% of all profits

Moonwalk designs startup challenges organised as programs. Alone or together with a strategic or financial partner. A program creates startups and runs for two semesters with paying participants. Then the program is incorporated. With participants as sweat equity part owners of the entire portfolio. An equity crowdfunding campaign decides how many startups are launched. Moonwalk is a 100 days startup hatcher and accelerator. No one should work here for any other reason than that they really want to. I had to figure out a way to fund and source the competence of people, but also fund their activity so that we can share in the outcome. No one had really given me any pointers on how to do that, so I had to find a new model of crowdfunding, crowdsourcing and shared ownership. Me and my colleague Victor developed that over the course of two years. He was a previous customer and the most talented person I know in the areas of value-chains and complexity. I asked him to join me and he said yes. We are in this together.
