UVision makes sensors for underwater inspection - Visualising the subsea. Ships, harbours, windmills and bridges need regular inspection, also underwater, in order to avoid major failures and costly repairs. Underwater, inspection becomes a lot more complex, it is difficult and risky to operate under water, and video-inspections are costly and ineffective. We are therefor building the UVision sensor to make inspections easy, safe and precise. The UVision sensor is a 3D-underwater camera; unique in size and weight and therefore easy to mount on a pole, on any underwater drone or handheld by a diver. You scan an object by simply moving the sensor around it, guided by a real-time 3D-map on a screen. After the scan, advanced algorithms create a photorealistic 3D-model and store it in our cloud solution - ideal for collaboration with colleagues, customers and partners.
