SymbioMe

Intestinal flora analysis, also called microbiome analysis, is a technique used to study the microorganisms that live in our intestines. Our gut flora consists of an enormous amount of microorganisms, mainly bacteria, but also viruses, fungi and protozoa. Together, these microorganisms form our microbiome, which is an important part of our health and well-being. To carry out an intestinal flora analysis, you first need to collect a stool sample from the person to be examined. Then advanced laboratory techniques, such as DNA sequencing, are used to identify and quantify the various microorganisms present in the sample. When the analysis is complete, you get a detailed report that shows which microorganisms are in the intestines, their relative amount and how they relate to each other. The analysis here can provide valuable information about one's general state of health and is available via mobile or computer. We ensure the highest quality of our results by using our ISO-certified partner laboratory Carbiotix. Carbiotix is a listed company and has its lab in Lund with the very latest equipment. They send you the home test and perform analyzes on the sample with next-generation DNA sequencing (NGS), to identify and compare all known bacteria in the intestinal flora. For our analyses, it is a matter of course to use a Swedish laboratory. This not only benefits the environment with shorter delivery distances, but also saves time for faster delivery of results to our customers.

GoGood

At GoGood, we work towards developing a reuse economy for office furniture that will be preferred to the consumer economy. Our solution consists of a digital reuse-platform that aims to become a driving force in the reuse economy for used office furniture. We have taken a concrete approach, starting with office interiors as our initial focus. In Norway alone, the office furniture market is worth over 4 billion annually, yet we discard 140,000 tons of furniture valued at 400-500 million Norwegian kroner each year. This cannot continue. That's why we have developed a reuse-platform for furniture, including a marketplace for the professional furniture market, making it incredibly easy for businesses, interior architects, and other stakeholders to sell their furniture while also simplifying the process of purchasing used furniture for interior projects, as well as making old furniture look new again. Over the past two years, we have made significant progress in developing modern reuse solutions, products, and services. With public support totaling over 15 million Norwegian kroner from the Research Council of Norway, Innovation Norway, and the Oslo municipality, as well as partnerships with industry players such as Flokk, Aarsland, Ope, Norsk Gjenvinning, Glomma Industrier, Hannah Nordh, Oslo Waste and Recycling Agency, NORSUS - Norwegian Institute for Sustainability Research, Norsk Regnesentral, and OBOS, we are now ready with our reuse-platform making the circular economy for office furniture on a large scale possible-

Yuta AI

1: Short description (the pitch) Yuta AI is developing a platform to help DevOps teams to solve toolchain complexity, remove mundane tasks, work efficiently with the conversational and generative power of AI. 2: The What: What are you solving + more in depth details Several studies show that an average DevOps team spends 20% of the time in unproductive tasks (searching for information, mundane or repetitive tasks, troubleshooting human errors etc). The plethora of automation tools used to solve some of these problems, has introduced a side effect of toolchain complexity. A typical DevOps engineers works with 5 to 6 tools, languages & frameworks. This increases the barrier to entry, creates silos and a steep learning curve. 3. The How: Describe how your startup is solving this DevOps engineers can work productively and efficiently using Yuta's AI enabled DevOps platform. Using Yuta AI, engineers can easily retrieve information from knowledge systems within the company. Using conversational AI, several typical DevOps workflows can be triggered, removing the need to manually perform operational tasks. 4: The Why: What motivated you to get started As a DevOps professional over the last 8 years, I have toiled hard with many DevOps tools. While the tools have improved the productivity of DevOps engineers, the complexity keeps increasing with the addition of every new tool, workflows spanning across multiple process & tools & methods decrease the stability, and make DevOps a silo function in the organisation. With the power of conversation & generative AI, DevOps workflows can be simplified, lowering the barrier to entry, and empowering the engineers to focus on high value tasks.

We enable the green shift to happen in new markets! TioTech is a Norwegian producer of titania (TiO2) nanomaterials and a developer of titania-based technology. We know how to optimise the production process and properties of titania nanoparticles. After successfully developing and commercialising a series of photocatalytic surface treatment products (www.joma-int.com), we are directing our R&D efforts towards a new area; the use of titania as anode-material in Lithium-ion batteries (LIB). A battery with our material on the anode will charge faster, last longer, be safer and tolerate temperature variation better than conventional batteries which have graphite on the anode, and outcompete LTO-batteries on capacity. The development work takes place in our in-house laboratory in Bergen, where our dedicated team (Hjørdis, Marthe, Rob, Anders) play around with titania, giving life to innovative solutions.
