Killer Kebab

Killer Kebab is a modern fast-casual food brand deeply in love with kebab. We make ours personal and unique in a world that expects more and more from the food it eats. The problem we are solving is simple but deeply rooted: kebab has become synonymous with low transparency, inconsistent quality, and shortcuts hidden behind speed and convenience. Consumers want fast food that feels honest, crafted, and worth trusting, but the category has largely failed to evolve. Killer Kebab exists to change that. From day one, we set out to prove that kebab can be both fast and uncompromising. We build our kebab from scratch, marinating our meat in-house every morning, making all sauces and falafel ourselves, baking sourdough flatbreads fresh to order, and frying every falafel only when it’s needed. We deliberately serve fewer options, focusing instead on quality, repeatability, and operational excellence. Our approach turns quality from something subjective into something systematic. By owning every critical step of production, we create a product that is consistent across locations while remaining deeply human and handcrafted. This operational model allows us to scale without losing what makes the brand special. Beyond the product, Killer Kebab is built as a brand-first company. With a strong visual identity, a bold tone of voice, and a loyal community, we are creating more than meals. We’re building emotional connection, cultural relevance, and everyday rituals around food that feels good to eat and good to believe in. GEIST

1. The Elevator Pitch GEIST is developing next-generation sailing apparel for recreational and lifestyle sailors who want protection and freedom on the water—without the bulk, stiffness, or elitist aesthetics of traditional sailing gear. By combining high-performance materials, real-world testing, and community-driven design, GEIST delivers technical sailing wear that enhances the experience instead of getting in the way. 2. The What: What are you solving? Sailing apparel today is largely designed for professional racers or extreme offshore conditions—resulting in garments that are heavy, rigid, over-engineered, and visually disconnected from how most people actually sail. This creates a gap for: - Recreational sailors - Lifestyle / adventure sailors - Coastal and day sailors who want reliable protection from wind, spray, and weather, but also comfort, mobility, and a modern aesthetic they enjoy wearing. As a result, many sailors compromise—either wearing gear that limits movement and comfort, or using outdoor apparel not built for marine conditions. This problem affects a broad and growing segment of sailors globally, especially as sailing increasingly overlaps with outdoor lifestyle, travel, and community-driven experiences. 3. How GEIST is solving it GEIST designs sailing apparel from the experience outward. We start by deeply understanding how our users move, layer, vent heat, and interact with their gear during real sailing scenarios—not idealized ones. From there, we: - Develop function-led designs focused on mobility, breathability, and smart protection - Use premium 3-layer performance fabrics and components chosen for durability, comfort, and sustainability - Prototype early and test continuously with sailors in real conditions - Co-create features, fit, and details with our community rather than designing in isolation Our first products—a sailing jacket and trousers—are built to be worn actively on the water and comfortably before and after, bridging performance and lifestyle without compromise. 4. Why GEIST exists GEIST started from lived frustration. As a sailor and outdoor enthusiast, I repeatedly experienced how traditional sailing gear interrupted the very thing it was supposed to support—the feeling of being present, capable, and free on the water. Gear was either too stiff, too bulky, too aggressive, or simply not designed for how most people sail today. I realized this wasn’t a niche problem—it was systemic. And it wasn’t being solved because the industry hadn’t truly shifted its perspective. GEIST exists to reimagine sailing apparel from the standpoint of experience, movement, and modern sailing culture. It’s about stripping away unnecessary complexity and designing gear that supports focus, confidence, and enjoyment—so when the wind hits, the world narrows, and the gear disappears.

FEESH

FEESH...the feed for your fish Aquaculture is the fastest-growing food sector and is vital for meeting the protein needs of a growing global population. Yet, its growth is constrained by reliance on two unsustainable protein sources: fishmeal and soy protein concentrate (SPC). Fishmeal is produced from wild-caught fish, putting pressure on already fragile marine ecosystems, while soy production drives large-scale deforestation and carries a heavy carbon footprint. Both are also subject to volatile global markets, making aquafeed production environmentally damaging, expensive, and vulnerable. Insects, particularly Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL), are an attractive and more sustainable alternative. They can be produced locally, upcycle organic waste streams into valuable protein, and have a low environmental footprint. However, despite this potential, insect meal remains a niche ingredient in aquafeeds. The main barrier is chitin, a fiber-like polymer in the insect exoskeleton that reduces digestibility and locks away valuable proteins. This limits inclusion rates of BSFL meal in aquafeeds to just 2–8%, far below the levels needed to meaningfully replace fishmeal and soy. At FEESH, we are solving this problem by applying a precision microbial fermentation platform, enhanced with ultrasonication pre-treatment, to upgrade BSFL meal into a high-performance protein ingredient. Our process disrupts the chitin-protein matrix, making proteins more bioavailable, reducing indigestible fiber, and enriching the lipid fraction with beneficial fatty acids such as EPA and DHA. Additionally, fermentation produces bioactive peptides and immunostimulatory compounds that improve gut health and disease resilience in fish. The result is a fermented insect meal with digestibility levels reaching 90–95%, enabling high inclusion rates of >20% in aquafeeds without compromising fish growth, palatability, or welfare. By combining biological and physical processing, FEESH unlocks the true nutritional potential of insects, transforming them from a niche supplement into a viable replacement for fishmeal and soy protein concentrate. This matters because the aquafeed industry needs scalable, circular, and climate-friendly solutions. Our innovation reduces dependence on environmentally destructive feed sources, cuts CO₂ emissions, and strengthens food system resilience. For insect producers, it creates new market opportunities with higher-value products. For aquafeed formulators and fish farmers, it delivers a sustainable, locally produced protein that supports both performance and animal health. And for society, it contributes to global food security and a more sustainable bioeconomy. FEESH is pioneering the next generation of aquafeed ingredients, designed not just to sustain aquaculture, but to make it thrive responsibly.
