Gruten AS

Gruten is an Oslo-based company that creates new value and meaning from coffee waste. We use coffee grounds in the production of soap and body scrub, and run an educational program with lectures, courses, and workshops to create awareness and knowledge about coffee grounds as a valuable resource.  We have a small production/workshop/outlet at Torshov, and sell our products on our own webshop + in ca 35 stores around Oslo and the rest of Norway. At the moment we are working hard to set up a site for mushroom production, growing oyster mushrooms on coffee grounds. When we get a go-ahead for this we will be in demand for funding to set up the production site (we will be growing in used cooling containers, so-called reefers) and need people to work on the site.

Holmestrand Sktunnel AS

In order to maintain Norway's position as the largest and most important ski nation in the world, climatic changes require new thinking, types of facilities, snow technologies, and strategies. HST has a letter of intent with Vestfold county to take over the Holmestrand 1862-meter car tunnel at NOK 1 to be redeveloped into a NOK 200 million all-year-around ski facility for cross country, biathlon, and Paralympics. With SIAT/NTNU and Terje, Grønmo Architects developed an opportunity study ("Mulighetsstudie" found at www.holmestrandskitunnel.no). Business and marketing plan currently at work with University College of Southeast Norway, Campus Kongsberg. Why Holmstrand? Because the town is entering into a stage of comprehensive transformation and development, merging three municipalities into a 24,000 people unit, with a number of developments and construction projects coming up downtown at the seaside during the next 5-20 years and a NOK 6,7 billion state investment in a new railway system that takes passengers to Oslo in 45 minutes. 1 million people can reach Holmestrand in one hour by railway and E18. The railway stop is 100 meters from the future ski facility, which might serve as a magnet for other developments, creating health and social conditions for people at large. With an undeveloped fjord area, there is an opportunity to create a sports hub for unique marine and ski activities. Other projects are Gjelsten's leisure island Langøya, Kullboden (1 acre), Uni Quarter (1 acre) Hakan (might have swimming and hotel facilities, an architect study to be opened this fall), new car-free and covered main street (Langgaten), high stories car and boat parking with the business opportunity, heating/cooling systems (fjernvarme) based on excess energy from ski tunnel and Hydro smelter cooling water being served by an NTNU master study, an extension of 1200 leisure boat facilities and undeveloped south town area under the name Hagemann Brygge. Hagemann, in particular, is an excellent 55,000 sq.m. seafront residential and business opportunity with an option to be developed together with the neighboring ski tunnel. The ski tunnel and Hagemann together with some of the other projects would certainly become a long-term investment opportunity.

DIGS

Our mission is to create a thriving and evolving community of startups and creatives.DIGS is an innovation platform located in Trondheim, built on exchanges between members and partners who unite entrepreneurs, ‘makers’, and ‘doers’ from varied sectors. DIGS supports startup activities by providing an office environment and space for public activities, stimulating a culture of collaboration, sustainability, and mutual innovation through shared knowledge and experience. We participate in entrepreneurship networks across Norway, Europe, and internationally and aim to strengthen ties, stimulate the local community, and boost business development in and around the region of Trondheim. The idea of creating DIGS started with three enthusiastic people who wanted to make space for innovation in Trondheim. They started working on the idea in 2011 and acquired the space we are currently located in in the summer of 2013. The word DIGS means workplace and living space.

We offer a complete platform with all the tools and integrations needed to improve and streamline the daily operation of a HORECA business.

OK Minilager AS

OK, Self-Storage Group consists of the brand's City Self-Storage and OK Minilager. We have more than 60 locations in Scandinavia. We aspire to be the leading company in tech in our industry. We have just closed funding from several investors, and we have an ambitious growth plan for the years to come.

BRGN AS

The Norwegian fashion brand BRGN was founded in 2015 by Ros-Mari Tobiassen Gaundal and Karine Trellevik Lunde. Their mission is to offer great alternatives to the traditional all-weather jacket, through high-quality garments and shoes that can be worn on any occasion and in any kind of weather. Their technical and waterproof products, designed for a functional and urban lifestyle, are now sold by over a hundred retailers in Norway, Germany, France, and the UK in addition to their two concept stores in Oslo and Bergen. BRGN set a new turnover record in 2021, at 25.8 MNOK. Up from 16. MNOK in 2020.

BAD NORWEGIAN

BAD NORWEGIAN is a natural skincare brand from Norway, founded by a former NATO soldier, to offer men simple products and routines. We combine the values associated with Norway: integrity, honesty, and quality- with a rogue, confident undertone. Our skincare, beard and shave products are all cruelty-free and vegan, with an instant effect. BAD NORWEGIAN is a direct-to-consumer company with a strong foothold in the travel retail market in Norway. Selling at Heinemann, BEAST, Marionnaud and Cult Beauty.

SENPAGE

Senpage is an organization that seeks to redefine how students and recent graduates approach entrepreneurship. Blurring the lines between incubator and consultancy, Senpage facilitates meaningful collaborations between founders and cross-functional teams of student consultants, seasoned mentors, and other key stakeholders. By leveraging our growing network, we aim to democratise entrepreneurship by dismantling the biggest obstacles faced by student entrepreneurs— whether it’s time, manpower, or capital. From ideation to MVP validation, join us on our mission to create a more viable, sustainable path for both student founders and consultants. Senpage's management team consists of permanent members who pursue prospective clients, recruit new volunteers, oversee our internal and external communications, and shape the organisation’s broader strategy. Our project teams are comprised of volunteers from local universities who serve as consultants for our clients. HeyWaitr ApS

HeyWaitr was founded January 2021 and is a Copenhagen based fintech / SaaS solution dealing with the HoReCa industry. We reduce waiting time for the guests - they can order their food and drinks with just a few clicks on their smartphones. - without any delay, waiting time and physical interaction. A lot of places are troubled with the lack of qualified staff and have to be highly aware of their cost. We increase the revenue, especially on beverages - it's fast to place a new order via the app instead of waiting for a waiter to come by or go to the bar. HeyWaitr reduces waste via eliminating human flaws. A lot of places are troubled by waiters who by accident types in the wrong order from the guest. Furthermore we eliminate the possibly of the guests either forgets to pay the bill or runs away from it, because th guests are paying when they place the order via credit/debit card, MobilePay or Kevin. We are currently working with everything from famous tourist attraktions like Egeskov Slot to classic cafes. The idea of heywaitr was born at a regular cafe. We were sitting outside, enjoying the sun and had some food and beverages. When we repeatedly had to sit around and wait for 10-15 minutes to get in contact with a waiter to order and had to wait additional 10-15 minutes to pay the bill when we were done eating and drinking we decided that there should be an easier way to handle this. Then the digital waiter was born, and we started out researching and interviewing the managers & owners of some local places.

UVision ApS

UVision makes sensors for underwater inspection - Visualising the subsea. Ships, harbours, windmills and bridges need regular inspection, also underwater, in order to avoid major failures and costly repairs. Underwater, inspection becomes a lot more complex, it is difficult and risky to operate under water, and video-inspections are costly and ineffective. We are therefor building the UVision sensor to make inspections easy, safe and precise. The UVision sensor is a 3D-underwater camera; unique in size and weight and therefore easy to mount on a pole, on any underwater drone or handheld by a diver. You scan an object by simply moving the sensor around it, guided by a real-time 3D-map on a screen. After the scan, advanced algorithms create a photorealistic 3D-model and store it in our cloud solution - ideal for collaboration with colleagues, customers and partners. We are three full-time founders - each with 25 years of experience within technology development, marketing and management. One of us has a lot of experience with underwater photography, and we all have a deep interest in technology and strong urge to make something of our own - with all the ups and downs it will bring :-)
