Our vision is to free the curiosity of designers from the limitations of other platforms and static 2D frames and ultimately enable a design process that produces high-quality and engaging XR experiences. Appear is the first tool that focuses on the needs of XR designers when composing advanced experiences and products for augmented and mixed reality. Our unique system enables the creation of rich and playful experiences that truly interact with the surrounding environment —we’re defining how we’ll interact with and within the metaverse.

We enable the green shift to happen in new markets! TioTech is a Norwegian producer of titania (TiO2) nanomaterials and a developer of titania-based technology. We know how to optimise the production process and properties of titania nanoparticles. After successfully developing and commercialising a series of photocatalytic surface treatment products (www.joma-int.com), we are directing our R&D efforts towards a new area; the use of titania as anode-material in Lithium-ion batteries (LIB). A battery with our material on the anode will charge faster, last longer, be safer and tolerate temperature variation better than conventional batteries which have graphite on the anode, and outcompete LTO-batteries on capacity. The development work takes place in our in-house laboratory in Bergen, where our dedicated team (Hjørdis, Marthe, Rob, Anders) play around with titania, giving life to innovative solutions.
