OrderBuddy

OrderBuddy is a digital menu platform that helps dining places to an efficient and quick order flow without getting annoyed customers. We have all been out in a dining situation where the waiters are too busy to get to you, and it takes the fun away from being there with friends and family. What if you could just order and pay, have fun with the people you are there with, and then wait to get served. After you're done, you can order more, or leave the place without getting the waiter one more time. OrderBuddy is an ordering system, where guests can place and pay their orders directly from the table on their own phones. No need to install anything, just scan the QR code on the table, or go to the webpage and find the dining place, add items to the cart and pay. The order goes directly to the kitchen or bar. The idea for OrderBuddy of course started when I was out dining with some friends. The place was busy, and we actually wanted to order a new round of beer to the table, however the waiters were too busy elsewhere, and when we finally got a hold of the waiter we decided to just pay. The restaurant lost revenue and ended up with customers who had a bad experience.

Phinder

1: Short description (the pitch) Phinder is developing a software solution to help companies to gain control of their data and comply with GDPR with a unique combination of intelligence technologies. 2: The What: What are you solving + more in depth details “Unstrucutred personal data is one of the largest barriers for achieving GDPR compliance” (Partner, large danish law firm). To achieve GDPR compliance an organisation must have a complete overview of and control of the personal data which they control. This is often done in an ineffective manner with manual processes. Unstructured personal data is often generated ad-hoc and stored randomly across a wide variety of IT systems. Very often this creates large amounts of non-compliant personal data and hinder organisations responding to access and delete request and achieving a GDPR compliance. 3: The How: Describe how your startup is solving this Phinder Compliance Center is “plug and play” and supports images, text documents, videos and e-mails. We aim to provide the customer with a simple result which quickly give them an overview and clear understanding of how to improve their compliance level. The software solution leverages a unique combination of artificial intelligence technologies such as facial recognition, face detection, OCR, NLP and propriety algorithms to identify personal data in images, videos, text documents and e-mails across wide variety of data sources, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Teams, Exchange and SharePoint. 4: The Why: What motivated you to get started Let us know what fired your spark. How did you become aware of the problem you're working to solve? What motivated you to quit your day job to focus on your entrepreneurial ambitions? In essence, why are you doing this? “Automated data compliance, keeping privacy private” is a mantra which drives Phinder. We want to leverage innovative and technical solution to enhance privacy for the individual. We believe that the way to achieve it, is to help organisations reduce costs and increase efficiency for their compliance processes, and becoming more transparent for their employees, customers and the world the operate within.

BlueCall

BlueCall improves mental health in the workplace by providing employees and managers with digital tools to manage the challenges of everyday life – both at work and outside of the workplace. In Sweden, work-related stress is the leading cause for sick leave, and impacts employees across all industries. According to Arbetsmiljöverket (Swedish Work Environment Agency), this costs businesses an average of 400,000 SEK per employee in the form of reduced productivity, sick pay, recruitment, and training. Furthermore, 35% of all Swedes are experiencing mental health issues, impacting their work performance, wellbeing and raising stress levels. BlueCall’s digital toolbox helps employees and managers deal with stress, uncertainty and anxiety, while providing tools to help strengthen self-esteem, increase motivation, and find balance. FÆRM

We started FÆRM in 2020 with the goal of making amazing plant-based cheese. To do that, we use traditional cheese production methods, locally sourced proteins and science combined with a whole lotta love. The problem that we’re solving is twofold. First and foremost conventional cheese has one of the highest carbon footprints in the food industry, with higher emissions than both chicken and pork. Secondly, the plant-based alternatives to cheese that do exist on the market generally fall short on both taste and texture, providing little incentive for consumers to make climate friendly choices. In addition, their content of coconut and palm oil hardly makes them a sustainable alternative As a company, we believe that work is about doing something you love and we want FÆRM to be filled with awesome individuals, who contribute to a strong social culture, celebrate diversity, and take pride in their work.

The Digital Gardener

The Digital Gardener is a planning tool and gardening community for small-scale vegetable producers and home gardeners. We help growers plan what to grow, as well as when, where and how to grow it, so that they can focus on making their plants thrive. The demand for locally produced, sustainable food is increasing. Despite this, small-scale vegetable producers struggle to make an income. Predictable supply is essential to make efficient use of available market channels for direct to consumer sales, and a good plan is a key prerequisite to achieve this. The Digital Gardener aims to help small scale producers achieve the needed predictability by making it easy to create and maintain a good plan, and by helping them keep on top of work to be done throughout the growing season. The interest in gardening and homesteading has also surged during the corona crisis. Unfortunately, many aspiring home gardeners lack the needed growing competence to succeed with their gardening projects. Ambitious homesteaders face similar challenges as professional growers, as they need a good plan to ensure that they can harvest fresh produce for their family throughout the season. The Digital Gardener aims to help all growers succeed with their gardening projects, and will enable them to share information and experience to help and inspire others to succeed as well. The Digital Gardener is a software company. Our goal is to build software that contributes to an increase in the amount of food that is grown locally, as well as increased biodiversity in green spaces and home gardens. We partner with other organisations, people and companies that provide competence, heirloom seeds, tools and methods that can help us achieve this goal.

We’re living in a buyer-centric world, where companies need to connect with customers on their terms. We are SellersPoint, a Danish communication and training platform targeted retail businesses with the vision of taking customer service to the next level. 94% of all companies within retail agree that investing in product and sales training is very important in improving customer satisfaction and achieving financial results. However, while product knowledge is one of the core selling points of brick-and-mortar stores, they seldomly have the resources to train employees in every new product. SellersPoint is a multisided platform for suppliers to deliver e-learning content, training sellers in promoting their product, while retailers receive a tool for educating, motivating, and increasing the performance of their employees. Key to the platform is the connection between supplier and retailer, ensuring a constant flow of new material. Currently, it is not feasible for suppliers to create proprietary systems, as they are unable to provide enough content to justify the costs of such systems. By creating a platform for all suppliers, SellersPoint reduces the cost of each individual supplier and retailer, while maximizing value. Our two-sided platform is based on two SaaS revenue streams. Suppliers and retailers. For retailers we offer a free version that includes access to all supplier content without limits! Because of the free version suppliers will refer related retailers to the platform and vice versa, to improve their value of the product. The team consists of 5 dedicated people working from our office in Aalborg Central. We recently closed a 7 digit investment round and are in the process of scaling the business!
