For the group, sighted guides are a prerequisite for engaging in sports, but the process of recruiting guides is burdensome, leading to the group missing out on sports, with adverse physical and mental health effects as a result. Move United is a social community platform, that connects persons with a visual impairment to sighted volunteers for a brisk walk, a 10 km run or a session in the local gym.

This doesn’t exclude us from having the celebratory beer once in a while when we achieve some of our milestones - even though many think completing an Ironman requires a 100% clean diet and full focus on training (which is not necessarily the case, we eat homemade pizza and watch movies every Sunday everning!). We’re open, free, happy and positive.
