&tradition is a Danish design company established in 2010 with the founding principle being tradition tied to innovation. Their unique library of furniture and lighting spans from the 1930s to the present day and includes designs by internationally renowned designers. Although &tradition is influenced by their Nordic heritage, they handpick design talent and production facilities internationally and across the ages. This is part of their remit to reshape, redefine and reinvent materials, techniques and forms, helping them to find a unique position in the international design market.

På Vinduespudserskolen bygger vi et SAAS, der optimerer hverdagen for selvstændige vinduespudsere, som vil frem i trafikken, hvilket vores elever heldigvis vil. Kort om vores historie: Vinduespudserskolen startede i 2021 som et AMU-kursus og blev i midten af 2022 til en privat uddannelse, da flere elever efterspurgte undervisning i abonnementsdrift og virksomhedsdrift. Siden da har vi hjulpet mange elever med at skabe deres egne succesfulde abonnementsforretninger, og vi støtter dem dagligt med alt fra drift til forretningsudvikling – og nu også software. Selve undervisningen foregår på Frederikssundsvej 345, mens vores backoffice er placeret på Vestergade 16 i København. Vinduespudserskolen (uden SaaS-overbygning) rummer arbejdsplads til 4 medarbejdere. Selve SAAS-produktet er en overbygning på skolen og finansieres af skolen. Vi er et mindre, agilt team, startet på 1 fuldtidsudvikler, og nu byder vi velkommen til 4 remote-udviklere og dig, som sidder med teamet på Vestergade i KBH. I dag har vi givet adgang til 50 af de forretninger, vi selv har hjulpet med at bygge, som er i opstartsfasen, altså accounts med under 200 kunder. På vores venteliste har vi mange større firmaer, som vi selv har bygget fra bunden med eleverne. Vores elever er selvfølgelig det vigtigste for skolen, og vi skylder dem at implementere nye features hurtigere, end vi gør nu.

Akademikernes Startup er blandt Danmarks største og mest succesfulde iværksætterprogrammer. Siden programmets begyndelse har vi hjulpet over 1.400 virksomheder med at tage deres første skridt mod succes. Programmet er et intensivt tre-måneders forløb, der gennemføres cirka tre gange årligt med 50 deltagere på hvert hold. Her mødes engagerede iværksættere på vores kontor for at danne et stærkt og dynamisk fællesskab, hvor idéer udvikles og vokser i samarbejde med eksperter og ligesindede. I takt med at vi videreudvikler Akademikernes Startup, arbejder vi også på at styrke vores brandtilstedeværelse og øge kendskabet til programmet gennem sociale medier. Samtidig udvikler vi en omfattende digital platform, som skal blive Danmarks største inden for iværksætterlæring. Denne platform vil indeholde online videokurser og ressourcer, der gør det muligt for endnu flere at få adgang til den viden og støtte, vi tilbyder. Akademikernes Startup er ikke kun et program, men også et fællesskab, der inspirerer, motiverer og understøtter iværksættere på deres rejse mod at skabe bæredygtige og succesfulde virksomheder. SPEDA makes health data more accessible! We build software to automate data extraction and structuring from electronic health record systems to increase efficiency in clinical research and help them create the best possible treatments for patients. Health data infrastructure is messy, and interoperability is a big challenge. In clinical research, data is transferred manually from one digital system to another. The manual process slows research by years, and expenses for the manual labor are estimated to be in the six-digit range (DKK). The global clinical research market is worth 54 billion USD, and at least 20% is spent on manual data extraction processes. SPEDA utilizes a mashup of technologies to build the software infrastructure that makes data transfer automatic. This ranges from integrations with healthcare systems to the use of genAI to structure healthcare data. Better utilization of health records is essential to build the future of healthcare. Everything from cutting-edge ML models for preventative and personalized medicine to drug development is dependent on high-quality data. If the infrastructure is not built, innovation and development is slowed, and we will see a decrease in the quality of care.

We are building Newcycle, because we want to end the throw-away society.   Every year our global society throw away 100 billion tonnes of materials. This obviously can't continue. At the the core of this issue lies a general perception that new things are more valuable than things we already own. Or that things new from the store is better than buying it used from someone else. We believe that if it was easier for people to treat the things they own better, keeping them maintained and in mint condition, this perception would change. We started Newcycle on an ambition to kickstart a circular revolution in retail and consumerism. The way we exploit our planet’s resources needs to change. The way we buy things needs to change. And the way we own things needs to change. With the Newcycle app, consumers can create an inventory of everything they own, to get an overview of their products. It's free to use the app, and we offer additional paid services, like reselling their used items. By giving consumers access to digital twins of everything they own, we make it easier for our users to maintain, repair, refine, buy and sell their products, regardless of whether they are the 1st, 2nd or 8th owner of a product. In the app The Newcycle app connects the owner of a product with the retailer who sold it and the producer who made it, for the entire life span of the product, benefiting both the consumers and the producers of the products. The positive result is longer use of the products and in the end recycling. We won’t change the world all by ourselves, but looking back ten, twenty or forty years from now, we’ll see that our role was a central one.
