ICT is a Norwegian technology development company that holds patents designed to bring new opportunities to the cryogenic liquids storage and transportation sectors via unique containers. The design targets the market for both large- and small-scale cryogenic applications. ICT’s solution is modular and suited for onshore as well as maritime use. The development of hydrogen infrastructure is slow and holding back widespread adoption. Transportation of large volumes is one of the major challenges that IC Technologies is determined to solve. Another challenge is the storage of liquid hydrogen. Current storage solutions resemble enlarged thermos flasks, and the hydrogen inside gradually evaporates over time. Our vision is a decarbonized world with green hydrogen as a major energy carrier.

Kontorhuset Bragernes har 37 moderne kontorer, free seating plasser og et stort kontor til 11 personer i 4 etasje. Vi kaller det Plug and work som betyr at du skal få ditt nøkkelkort og passord ved ankomst, koble deg på det trådløse nettet og starte jobben. Vi organiserer alt med tanke på møbler på kontoret, sosiale soner og tilstelninger, kjøkken, kopi/print og vask av lokalene. Du skal bruke all din tid på jobb og ikke små praktiske unødvendigheter i hverdagen, det tar vi oss av. Fra høsten av åpner vi Kontorhuset Strømsø, der skal vi ha ca 120 business mennesker under samme tak. Dette betyr at på Bragnernes og Strømsø vil Kontorhuset ha ca 180 mennesker som skal bygge relasjoner og skape verdier i jobben. Som leietaker i Kontorhuset får du tilgang på møterom, stillerom, vidoekonferanse, minikjøkken, kaffeautomat, kopi og print, toalettfasiliteter, garderobe og dusj. I kjeller eller bakgård kan du leie din egen parkeringsplass eller boder fra 4 til 38kvm for diverse lagring i kjelleren.  På Kontorhuset kan du ta en kopp kaffe med dine nye “kollegaer” for å dele tanker, ideer og utfordringer. Kanskje du får en advokat på den ene siden og en ingeniør på den andre? Mulighetene er mange. Tanken er at det skal skapes større verdier for deg ved å være en del av Kontorhuset.

Aqua Alarm is developing a Biological Water Alarm System (BiWAS). There are three things that make BiWAS stand out from all other comparable products: 1) It provides real-time monitoring 2) It monitors a broad spectrum of toxicants, carcinogens and pathogens 3) It does this in a very cost-effective way We have among other things been through the av Horizon 2020 phase 1 project and are presently performing two projects to prove the technology in real environments. Connecting Grounds is a food start-up based in Aarhus that up-cycles spent coffee grounds (a.k.a. coffee waste) into a food ingredient for B2B snack and confectionary companies and restaurants. Why do we do it? 1. Environment Spent coffee grounds are often treated as waste. Think about how many cups of coffee you or the people around you drink per day. All the coffee waste from drinking coffee adds to the Greenhouse Gas Emissions. 2. Nutritional Value When we brew our cup of coffee, we are only taking advantage of 1% of coffee's nutrients. 99% of these nutrients stay in the spent coffee grounds. These nutrients include caffeine, dietary fibre, proteins and valuable minerals. What we do is change the narrative behind hidden food waste by starting with coffee by-products. By up-cycling such a product, we evert emissions, take advantage of our resources and raise awareness on the importance of up-cycling. Rethinking food is what we do, and we will not stop with coffee by-products. We will continue to search for resources/ingredients that have the potential of being reintroduced in the food stream, again.

Supercharging database performance to reduce server costs & server energy consumption. Vesiro is an early-stage startup that is developing an add-on to Elasticsearch to enable much better search performance. The product is in part based on our novel, patented search algorithms. Initial tests on data from Common Crawl (which is the same data used to train ChatGPT) shows that we can cut search times in Elasticsearch by 30-50% depending on search type used. The increase in search speed means that our software enables a more efficient use of servers in Elastic clusters, helping our customers save money on servers. It also means that the software reduces server energy consumption as fewer servers are needed to do the same amount of search. Vesiro was one of 20 companies to be accepted among 2500 companies applying globally to participate in the Norrsken Accelerator 2023. This means that we have been recognized as one of the world’s foremost high potential impact startups.
